Get family safety services — Roadside Assistance, help in a crash, family locator and Emergency Services — with the OnStar Guardian® app. No matter where you are, we're with you and your family – in any vehicle, on your motorcycle, even through your home’s smart speaker. Eligible OnStar Members receive the OnStar Guardian app as part of their plan. A standalone plan is only $15 a month. Plus, you can share the app with up to 7 friends or family members at no additional cost.

Roadside services provided by Signature Motor Club, Inc., a member of the Allstate family of companies. Roadside services are for passenger vehicles (cars and trucks) and motorcycles only. Limitations and restrictions apply. Towing services can be used four times per year then additional charges apply. Additional charges apply to tire changes when a spare tire is not provided.

Up to seven additional individuals can be added to the “My Family” section within the app.

✓ No Regrets so farI was very hesitant to download this app at first due to the price of the OnStar Guardian app. However, I decided to give it a go because my children have just started driving and I am constantly concerned about their safety when driving about. I thought that with the features that this app offers it will be a beneficial service to purchase if it aids the safety of my children. The app has been brilliant so far and does everything that it says it would do! I am able to keep an eye out where my kids are when driving and it has been a huge relief. I definitely trust this app if any of them were to get in a crash or accident! I have no complaints so far and would recommend this app to any concerned parents..G. FayedVersion: 2.6.1

✓ The wrong move at the wrong time!You never should have done a Sundown but rather offer both 2.4 and 5G. People cannot afford new cars right now and most programs on my phone use 2.4 and would not work with 5 for controlling things like my alarm system and thermostat. Isn’t it bad enough they are trying to do away with gas driven cars when people cannot afford and do not want the electric cars..SprocellVersion: 3.2.0

✗ WorthlessI’m a longtime Onstar customer and former GM employee. I went to use the new expanded service for roadside service for my 1973 Corvette w dead battery and all they told me is my VIN was not right because it was 13 digits (old GM car) and new ones are 16 digit. They wasted 45 minutes of my time in need unable to make a decision to send service. This is the only time of many years of being a paying customer and they could not help because their system can’t handle older VINs. I will be cancelling the service with malice. No help at all. ✗ Never worksThe app itself never works for me. I’ve tried cancelling my plan through the app and at first it showed an address and credit card that weren’t even mine. I thought maybe it was a glitch. I’ve tried several other times to cancel through the app and it always says error and to try again later. I’ve done an online chat and two phone calls with onstar and they all say my account has been deleted and I shouldn’t receive anymore charges. Come January and I’m charged again. They also said they’d refund me for the last three months the last time I called. No refund as of now and the app still isn’t working for me. This has become a bigger hassle than it’s worth.
