What is LUXE Audio Enhancer? Description of LUXE Audio Enhancer 1100 chars
LUXE is an audio effect that compresses and saturates an audio signal in a quite subtile but musical way. It's very useful for making a track "fit in the mix" and can be used on anything from a drum bus to a vocal track.
The slider sets the amount of the effect. Under the hood this parameter controls a set of internal (non-visible) parameters which makes LUXE an easy tool to use for quick results.
The OUT knob sets the output volume and ranges from silence to +6 dB.
The FINESSE algorithm offers an alternate frequency response and adds some edge to the internal saturation module.

User Interface
Amount Slider - Controls how much the algorithm should process the incoming audio.
Algorithm switch - Switches between the LUXE and the FINESSE algorithm
Output Volume - Sets the output level.
Bypass - Soft bypass of the plugin.
Visuals
The round shape and the pin indicate how much the incoming audio is altered by the algorithm.

LUXE Audio Enhancer Pros
✓ I like itSimple to use, but does make the audio sound better. I believe it’s been modelled on Zynaptic Intensity..Version: 1.0.0
✓ Does it do anything then...?Yes, but I can't explain what. Kind of a subtle chorus effect with a bit of a maximiser, enhancer thing going on...? It's hard to dial in to hit your required sweet spot (twixt 40 - 60% seems to make it purr nicely), and it can get lost amongst reverbs and delays etc. I use it on Ravenscroft piano mainly and I've found that putting it after the EQ and reverb as the last effect in the chain allows it to stamp it's character without getting overshadowed. It's probably going to be less distinguishable as the intensity of the music and effects chains rack up but for more uncluttered projects it's a really pleasing addition and I won't use Ravenscroft without it now! Hell, I was gonna give it four stars because it's not an essential app by any means but I like it a lot, so 5 it is :) Edit : Actually about a year later and most of what I said above is rubbish! I'm using this on virtually everything now and there's very few cases where it isn't 'needed'. It just seems to improve everything and I almost feel too lazy relying on it so much - feels like I'm cheating somehow :).Version: 1.1.0
