ProDex - Gen 1 to 9 for Positive User Reviews

All in oneThe wiki and Pokédex app I’ve seen and used.Version: 13.30

Love the appHey, absolutely love the app, however I’ve noticed a few problems, some of the alolan forms do not highlight evolutions (at least on let’s go dex) and the phone tends to heat up quite a bit when using the app so the optimisation might not be as polished as the UI is (using iPhone 11). Thanks for the app though, it’s brilliant and very nice price for all of the generations..Version: 8.1

An essential to become a Pokemon MasterThis app is by far the best companion to have for the Pokemon games (minus Go). Everything is so detailed and clearly laid out. It’s attractive and enjoyable to use. I happily paid for the full package, it’s that impressive! I have 0 complaints or suggestions for improving it, it’s that good! Thanks for making me even more of a Pokémon pro ;P.Version: 13.25

Brilliant appBest pokédex tool i’ve found since the previous one i was using was taken down, only problem is with the team builder when trying to search for a pokémon app crashes other than that 10/10, paid DLC very cheap and worth it.Version: 3.3.11

Near Perfect PokédexAbsolutely love this app, within using it for 10 mins I purchased all the content. Reasonable pricing too! Gives all the in game data i’ll ever need. One thing I would like is just to be able to filter the dex by types and also be able to see a type weakness breakdown for my pokémon party’s. Besides that it’s near perfect!.Version: 3.2.3

Works great! The app is very useful. It has all the games to choose from, and it updates quickly. My only problem would be that the Pokédex entry for a Pokémon stays the same no matter what version your on, which is a little annoying for someone like me who likes to read the Pokédex entries for every version. Other than that, the app is great..Version: 9.9

WowTHE pokedex I’ve been waiting for.Version: 5.0.3

👍Good but needs an option to show all pokemon from all games at once.Version: 8.5

Needs some quality of life improvements and then it’s perfectI’ve been experiencing some weird issues where when checking moves for Pokémon when you click on the move the description doesn’t pop up. Or it will but go away almost instantly. Also when using the team building function it would be nice to check for information on moves aswell. It’s a bit annoying having to go back and forth from dex to team builder for information. Also you can check item information but it cuts of after one line and there’s no way to see more of it. Over really nice app that is sleek and has a lot of useful features but it needs more time being tested so developers can actually get more feedback to make a better app. Would rate 3 at current state but I really like this app and want it to become better so I’ll rate it 4..Version: 12.2

Perfect butThis is a great app but all I can ask for now is to let you use all Pokémon instead of separating it by Generation.Version: 3.3.9

My go to app for all Pokémon gamesLove this app.Version: 9.4

Good, but got a bit annoyingI started using this app a week ago and I love it. My only issue is the sudden addition of ads. They’re very intrusive..Version: 5.0.10

Great, but one issue....I’ve been loving the app since I downloaded it. So much to the point that I decided to purchase the game specific package, so as to not have to deal with the Ads anymore. After buying the game specific package I was still experiencing ads, the app itself was acknowledging I had made the purchase. Thereafter I decided to purchase the full package with all games, 4.99 isn’t too much and I assumed no ads may just be something that come with the full purchase. Unfortunately even after that purchase, still dealing with ads. Overall this app is amazing and I’m going to continue to use it, I’m looking forward to the team building portion. Edit: Waited a couple days and I was still experiencing ads. Decided to hit the “Restore Purchases” button in the shop and that fixed the issue with it not registering. All ads appear to be gone now. Once again, fantastic app! I’ll be sure to follow you pages on social media!.Version: 2.1.0

Great appLove the app works great just wondering if there’s a way to implement and gen 1-9 national def with every Pokémon available.Version: 13.7

Pretty awesomeI don’t usually write reviews for anything really, but this app has inspired me to do so. I’ve used other Pokedex apps in the past and while they all were pretty solid and provided great information (or links to information), the amount of info given in this app is very impressive. Everything from location, catch rate, leveling rate, egg group and so much more (also the inclusion of the shiny sprites is awesome ). Everyone should definitely pay for full access If you can afford it not only to get all the great information, but also to support a team who clearly has a passion for Pokémon..Version: 6.4

Very good and clean lookingLots of information and useful features like teams and checklists. A nice feature would be to add wild pokemon potential held items..Version: 8.1

Good but could be betterI was hoping that I could find the best team for Pokémon go as I don't have a switch or any other Nintendo consoles. Beside from that I think everyone who worked on this did a really good job. (Thank you for reading this far.).Version: 8.1

The start of something great!By far the best Pokédex for sword and shield out there! Could do with a couple of updates like filtering Pokemon by type and what moves they learn but I'm sure the developers will add as time goes by. Thank you!.Version: 1.9.1

One of the bestThis app is the best Dex that I have ever tried. It provides all the information that I would ever need for any game, and is incredibly in-depth with every move, Pokémon and other features. Highly recommend this to anyone looking for a high-quality Pokédex app.Version: 1.9.3

Updated reviewI’ve soon realised that all the pokemon are there depending on what game you select but if it’s possible could there be like a national dex?? and still i wish there was a marking/favouring system so i know what pokemon i have in my card collection.Version: 3.3.6

Was Going To Give 5 Stars But…Alola, before you start reading I do recommend this app it is an amazing app made by amazing developers. Just one problem. It’s only amazing if you pay the money for premium with all games (which do not fear it is a one time purchase). So if you don’t wanna pay you can’t do much. Other than that way better than any other app I’ve used for Pokémon if you are willing to pay it is a must have for your Pokémon adventures!.Version: 9.8

Best Pokédex Ever! This literally has everything in one app. There is no need to google anything if everything is there! Moves, locations, abilities. That’s only scratching the surface! Another thing to add is that it doesn’t force you to get premium, or show a tone of ads, like I told you, it’s the best Pokédex!.Version: 13.15

A good idea, with better executionAmazing app, the features provided are extremely helpful for the average player! You get to plan and build multiple teams for every generation of pokemon, see info on what moves and items are available in the game, locations the game, tms in the game.. but the best part is, it’s generation specific! Every currently existing generation of pokemon and every main line game is present with up to date and correct information. The only catch is, you will need to buy premium for £5 for every generations full potential. For a free user, i recommend this app for generally learning the pokédex of a given generation. For a person willing to shill out £5, i highly recommend this app with premium..Version: 3.3.8

So CloseI love this app and am happy with my choice to pay for premium, but it would be nice if the team builder was a little more robust (type matchups, etc.) and that there was an offline mode (I like to do research when I’m on the bus and I don’t have a good data plan). If you added those, I’d gladly give this app 5 stars!.Version: 13.2

Great DexThis really is a great Pokédex app - ESPECIALLY since it’s free. You can tell that they are actively updating and developing it as the games and the community grows which is super important. The models and information they use can be really tough to find, and with gen 9 being out for less than a month, they’ve already supplied all the basic information you’d need before consulting Google I use it practically every day or every time I play, and you can really see the effort that went into it, and I’ve never had a problem. And one again - it’s FREE, and community driven. Show me a better free Pokédex app, I’ll wait. Can’t wait to see what it looks like when they’re done developing and where they’ll take it.Version: 11.0

Love this app!I have found this app to be one of the better Pokédex apps. It is updated quickly when new games are released and receives regular updates to correct bugs or just add extra content. I find it easy to navigate and search the information I need. What rates it at 4 stars for me is I would love just a basic filter for types in the free version of the app. All sorts and filters are locked until you pay. Granted the price is really not that bad and I like the app so much this one gripe doesn’t keep me from using this as my primary Pokédex resource. Thanks for a great Pokédex and all the hard work that goes into keeping the app updated with all the most recent Pokémon information!!.Version: 9.3

Really love the app! It’s amazing! One of the best ones I’ve seen yet. The adds don’t get in the way too much, the design is easy to navigate, and there’s tons of helpful information anyway playing any of the games would need! However I did notice while looking at the Pokédex entries for Omega Ruby and Alpha sapphire, it says heatran is uncatchable. You can actually get one on route 120. It also says Regigigas is uncatchable, but you can get it on route 105, same cave regice is in. Latias and Latios are also listed as uncatchable, when you can get them on the southern island. And all of those are just in the omega Ruby alpha sapphire section. I haven’t had time to look at every entry of every game but these are the noticeable ones I spotted. Besides those errors the app is pretty much perfect for me. I’m definitely gonna be using it a lot for now on!.Version: 3.2.13

Great Potential!!Just started using this app and besides it looking great, it has amazing potential! I have noticed not every pokemon is in their respective generations, I’m assuming that they’ll be added in future updates of the app. Also the app has some hiccups here and there and when I tap the list button on the Pokedex part the app stops responding, but these are all things that can be fixed and don’t hinder the experience that much! I really believe this app has amazing potential to be the best Pokedex app out there, so keep at it guys! EDIT: For all the pokemon not being in the dex stuff, I was looking at the sword and shield version, so obviously all of them weren’t gonna be there, my mistake lol. P. S. A dark mode eventually down the line wouldn’t hurt anybody ;).Version: 2.1.15

I absolutely love this but there is one thingI gotta be straight forward, I’ve been using this dex app for a while now and I’m enjoying it a lot, but there is something I think the developer shsould do: 1st off: I think free users should be able to at least make 3 parties, it will be a bit more convenient and give others more of a reason to ge t premium in order or have more and never lose the parties they made before. 2nd off: whilst using scarlet and violet dec has been enjoyable, two things really bug me, there isn’t a dedicated section for the titans and team star bases, I’d like for there to be a section or two for these, and to have them in order explaining their level and move pool, that would be so much easier to plan for..Version: 13.10

Great, but not perfectIt would be really nice to be able to use the app offline. I also think there are some ways to make the app more user-friendly. For example, if I’m making a checklist, I don’t like having to go back to the PokéDex category and making sure I have the right checklist selected. I think the app should take you straight to the version Dex selected in your checklist. It’s also rather difficult having to go through all the versions to make a checklist for the National Dex. Team Builder is okay. I understand why some people would like all the information in front of them immediately, but for a more casual user who just wants to make some teams to compare it’s rather annoying to have to edit and scroll through everything. Maybe keep everything concise, and when tapped on the Pokémon’s information expands?.Version: 8.5

✨amazing ✨Right now, i am using the app to plan out nuzlocks, and this is how it works for me. I am looking at routs, it tells me where and how to find it pokemon as well as the pokemons odds of spawning, then i easily access the pokemons data and statsand look at evolutions and learn sets, phenomenal, the only thing that i wish was added and would be pretty easy, is gym leaders, it would make nuzlock planning so much better, this app already has a lot, but diff trainer battles would be perfect, also, the 1$ price tag is really cheap, and i know you can find the same stuff on game wikis, but this app does it with such ease that it clearly is worth it. 5/5.Version: 6.3

NoiceI love this app because everything I need for any game is there. I like the simplicity of the organization instead of having something looking super over the top. My only issue is that while there is a move tutor sections. Why isn’t there a move relearner, name changer, etc. Also, you should add the location and info of the shop in usum/sm that gives you a bunch of heart scales(for the move relearner) I’m exchange for eating one of the meals(I think it was the samurai one). I forgot where it was but I do know that it’s in the city which has that massive garden, and to get there you need to keep going left from the pokemon center there. I also know that the first time you go to that restaurant, the dark type kahuna will be there and a cutscene will play and you eat with him and get even more hearts scales from him..Version: 5.0.6

AmazingAbsolutely amazing app shows you everything you need to know about Pokémon, helped me with everything and feel a lot better playing Pokémon.Version: 9.10

Missing pokemonGreat app, easy to use, however I noticed this is missing at least Grimer and Muk, not sure if any others are missing but may wanna take a look in to that….Version: 8.5

ProDex (edit)This app is amazing and helpful as it includes data from every region and because I have started playing competitive, it is helpful to see what the different natures do, Pokémon abilities, moves and more. I am also looking forward to the team building area of this app as I can use the data from the rest of the app and create teams etc Great app and thanks for including the things that I love Another Edit lol I have been trying out many different Pokédex apps in the past weeks to try and pass the time and the main reason I now LOVE this app is because I’ve found so many apps that are a waste and it was actually making me sad as i class myself as a competitive battler. Thanks for actually making a good app 👍🏻.Version: 2.1.11

ReasonableFirst you choose which game you’re playing and you can change this option for any Pokémon game. You can look at the Pokédex section for every Pokémon, however when you are looking at a Pokédex entry I couldn’t immediately find the move-set or at what level it evolves. This is from the developer: "The app actually shows ... For example, Pokémon's moves, evolution and locations are all available from the Pokémon's sheet. At the bottom of the screen, there is a tab bar you can use to display the info you want..." You can find every catchable Pokémon in any area specific to the game and find HMs and TMs but still avoids spoilers wherever it can; for example, ProDex will not tell you what a Moon Stone actual purpose is or the Gym Leaders Pokémon roster, at least I could find. At this time..Version: 8.0

Nice dex but one big annoyanceI think that this app has a lot of really useful information, and one of my favorite things is the ability to make checklists for whatever I want. It's a super hand feature, especially since you can sort by the regional dex of each game to see what is and isn't available in each region. The one thing that really annoys me, especially with the team builder, is that there's no plain old National Dex option. I'm always limited to making teams based on one specific game, and none of them ever seem to have all the pokemon I want. Being able to sort by specific game dexes is handy for some situations, but especially since you can trade pokemon between games it doesn't make a ton of sense to me that there's no national dex option at all. It would really bump this up into a dex app. A lot of apps I've seen are ONLY the national dex, but they lack many of the other features I enjoy from this one. Overall I think I really enjoy this dex app, but I'd be more willing to recommend it if it was a bit more flexible in that way..Version: 8.1

Affordable and greatThis app is really well done I just have to things that would be useful. 1: iPad friendly display. On iPad the screen is very limited with space and if you could make the screen size be a bit friendlier to the display on iPad. 2: Add numbers on the Pokédex for the grid and not just the list.Version: 3.3.6

Really amazing app with one glaring omission.First off this is the best pokédex app out there and i’m sad to see it has less than 4-5 stars. the one thing it’s missing though is a pokédex you can fill out. i originally downloaded this to keep track of what pokémon i had in game and which ones i still needed to get but there is no such feature in this game that i can find. super useful information, but missing an actual pokédex to fill out seems like a glaring omission. i hope they add it soon! UPDATE: Dev responded saying it is coming to the app so bumped to four stars and will update to five once it comes out! Also devs, when you add it please make it easy to see the evolution line and where to find it in a certain game! thank you.Version: 3.3.6

GreatJust what I was looking for helping me fill my living dex on the fly. One thing I will say when in the Pokemon stat screen you have to go back to go to the next Pokemon, a drag to the right or left to change pokes would be good.Version: 1.9.3

Brilliant App… 1 huge drawback. For me, this app is nearly perfect, I love it. It’s so helpful, I bought the full version over a year ago and have used it regularly, but one thing really bugs me. Why can’t I use it offline?? Why is there no option to download all the data, so I can use it to help me play Pokémon, in situations where I have no wifi. Holidays, on a plane, etc, there’s a surprising amount of situations where connection just isn’t available. If this were to be implemented, which I feel would be pretty simple, the app would be a 5 star..Version: 8.1

Definitely get it.The app is brilliant! If your willing to pay £4.49 for premium then do, it’s worth it, but if not, then still get it because it is definitely still usable and incredible if you do. For the developers: I’ve got one question, I’m trying to get premium but whenever I click to get it nothing happens. What do I do?.Version: 7.16

Great App for Playing Pokémon GamesUsing this App to help me catch Pokémon in Scarlett on Switch. The Weakness chart alone is worth £5. The Pokémon company should hire or buy the App of the Devs. This App is priceless, like a Shiny Mew!.Version: 9.9

Its a great app but it has a problemIve been using the app for a while now and its been a tremendous help but ever since it updated it wont load and i cannot get it to work I've tried reinstalling it 3 times but nothing hopefully it gets fixed because its such a good app.Version: 7.16

Such an amazing map but could be better! This is probably the best dex out there which is crazy cause it could be even better! Some suggestions I recommend to the devs mostly has to do with the team creator. It would be cool to allow us to click on the Pokémon in the team creator in both the top where all team is shown and individually as well when going down the list so we can see all the stuff we see when he click on them in the normal Pokédex. Another small thing I wish we could do was rearrange the team order. It’s not a big deal but that would be cool. Could we also see the typing below the team in the top where the whole team is shown. One last thing is, idk if it’s in the app already but can we filter Pokémon only if they’re able to be found in the game? And lastly when we create filters can you allow us to just remove one filter rather than the entire thing? Other than that great app! A few of the TM’s locations are wrong but for the most part it’s been great!.Version: 8.1

MmmmmyesThis’s is a nice Pokédex app, it has a simple design and is easy to understand but its a little slow for me,idk if it’s just my kinda old phone but other than that it’s great :).Version: 3.3.6

VersionJe trouve que vous devriez ajouter la fonction de voir les Pokémon de chaque version comme heart gold chenipan et soulsilver aspico.Version: 14.7

Great App but I think there should be some changes.I’ve been using this app for a long time now and the developers have been doing an amazing job updating the app and it is a great team building and strategizing tool, there’s a few things I think should be added the make the game more personalized and customizable. For starters I think there should be an option in the team builder to be able to make your Pokémon shiny. It’s a touch that I think would make the game a lot more custom considering I use a lot of shiny Pokémon in my play-throughs. Lastly I think you should be able to set a custom level for your Pokémon that would change their Ev’s. But overall I think it’s an amazing app.Version: 16.4

Just a few thingsI’m one of the people who used Dexter for so long, no other Pokédex app really felt right after Dexter died. Until this one. But there are just a few features that I would like to see added in the future. Filters- My favorite feature of Dexter was the ability to filter the search tool. Filter by type, generation, states, even their EV yield. So it would be awesome if this app could introduce that. You could also filter the moves and TM lists so being able to do that would be awesome too. The move list- I already mentioned being able to filter by type, but it would be nice to see a list of all the Pokémon that could learn that move, like with the ability list. Also quick side note- For the images for the app, there is an image showing a move list for scorbunny, however I haven’t been able to find that for any of the Pokémon. Am I just blind or is that only a feature if I pay for the premium package. I know this is just me comparing this app to Dexter, but I got so used to it, there are features of it that I just can’t live without, and I know that many other people who used Dexter have come here too. A lot of people don’t like to pay for apps, but with how in depth this app already is, if the features that I mentioned could be added in the future, I would be more than happy to pay..Version: 3.3.6

An Excellent Dex GuideThis app has all I would want in a Dex guide. I feel that the checklist feature could be improved by adding the option between national and regional Dex’s..Version: 8.1

Amazing!… but; This is a great app, and even though there is a fee to unlock all the features, it is worth it in my opinion. The only thing that is truly lacking, is being able to access a FULL Pokédex from across all the games. Having to change versions to find specific Pokémon is very tedious. Great job otherwise team!.Version: 13.15

Amazing!! (But a few bugs)This app is amazing for being a proper Pokédex that has the Gen 8 Pokémon in it. But there are a few bugs with the app because whenever I tap on Meltan or Melmetal the screen just goes white. It would be good if you could fix that glitch.Version: 2.0.5

An amazing Pokedex! This is a really amazing Pokedex, it’s easy to find what you’re looking for and has a good user interface. One edition, I think you could use is a sort of interactive map where you could click on each area. You can encounter Pokémon and see what Pokémon are in it in order to make playing the game more efficient. Aside from that, it’s the best app I’ve used for Pokémon games, especially because it has information on every generation. I’d even recommend the paid version because it’s just worth the money. What is the change that I mentioned were made I’d be very happy..Version: 16.3

You are missing Gen 9 shinesI was just wondering when you’re going to have gen 9 shines.Version: 9.8

Works Very Well!I’ve tried out your app for a few weeks now and I absolutely adore it! Prior to downloading this app, the amount of apps needed to get all the information I wanted was getting out of control, but now I only need this one. The information on the app is very well organized and is very simple to use. Although the app has done a lot in order to display the information in a organized and accurate manner, there are a couples things I’d like to mention: 1. Something that’s not really necessary but could improve the app would be to add a search bar for Abilities and Items. There has been instances were I would stumble upon an unfamiliar Ability or acquired a new Item while playing and it felt a bit unnecessary to have to scroll down an entire list just to find it. 2. Another thing I’d like to mention is how the EV Yields of Pokémon are displayed in the Pokédex. For example, Pokémon who yield EVs that boost the HP stat have “PV” written in that section of the Pokédex. This isn’t exclusive to HP however as I noticed other EVs like Speed EVs labelled as “VIT.” Perhaps this was intentional but everywhere else I looked it seemed that the EVs are labelled after the stat they boost. It would be a good idea to label the EVs after the stat they boost as it would make training Pokémon easier. Despite the aforementioned few minor improvements, the app has done a better job at being a PokéDex than all other apps I’ve tired and I can’t wait for future updates and the Team Builder to release! Keep up the good work!.Version: 1.9.3

I love this app and use it all the time. Can you just add a feature where we can see all the pokemon we caught? Thanks.Version: 4.0

Great app, always being supportedAs far as I know, this is the only Pokédex app that is still being supported, even into Scarlet/Violet. If I ever have a problem, it ends up being fixed within a few days at most. It does everything a Pokédex needs to do. It’s also worth the less than 2$ for all the features and supporting the team. Great work!.Version: 12.2

WOW SO GOODFor the 5 minutes that I have used this app... best Pokédex ever. Just hope your team stick to it and keep this updated 😄🥳.Version: 1.1

A great app overall! So I want to start by saying that this is genuinely a very good app, I have it downloaded on both my phone and ipad. I like being able to plan out and construct teams for different generations that I plan to play in. I also enjoy that the “premium” is a 1 time purchase, and that the mega bundle is fair price. However, there is one thing that I believe this app is lacking. I feel that the team builder should be more diverse. As in, I feel like users shouldn’t be restricted to one generation to make a team for. I’m basically just suggesting a national dex mode for those of us who want to build teams with Pokémon from any generation. Honestly, if this app added that, I would genuinely bump my review up to five stars. Update: Like I promised, if national dex mode was added, I’d update this review to 5 stars, so here you go! All my previous points still stand, thank you for making this change!.Version: 16.0

BrilliantThis is one of the few apps I’ve found to offer Pokédex data and info for gen 8 Pokemon. (I have been using another Pokédex app for a few years now but it hasn’t been updated since usum.) The stylish interface and user-friendly layout really help too! Once the team maker is out I am confident that this will be my new go to Pokédex! Just a suggestion, it’d the be really nice if in the team builder we could put Pokemon not in sword and shield into teams with new gen 8 mons?.Version: 1.1

Best Pokedex app ever!!!!!!!!!!! 🤯😍I love this app, both me and my wife use it, my wife uses it to find pokemon she doesn’t have in her Pokédex and she’s pretty new to the game. I also use it for where certain pokemon spawn frequently and makes shiny hunting easy, especially there is a photo of the shiny form on the bottom so I can learn them as well while trying to make my own shiny dex, and this app also allows me to do a checklist of every pokemon I have shiny and shows me how much I’m progress. However there is one thing I do wish that was on this app is you can’t view the Pokédex in a cross platform fashion like seeing every single pokemon on one whole list. There is an option for it when you make a check list but I would like to view the dex on one biggest instead of changing game versions when I’m already in the wrong game. If adding that could be possible, then yes, this app would be the 1 million percent best Pokédex app ever made! Thank you so much! And yes, the ad free is worth it!.Version: 14.7

Single Pokémon creationGreat app. Does most things you need it too and love the layout! Only suggestion would be if you could make and save individual Pokémon to then copy and paste into other teams.Version: 13.18

A great updated PokédexI enjoy the features telling where Pokémon are and in what frequency and time of day. The move tab under each Pokémon is also extremely useful as it allows me to plan my team’s growth ahead. In later generations, the evolutions tab is also helpful. I do recommend the full premium pack. This app is nearly fully usable for free, and the parts which aren’t are not necessary for most Pokémon game players. The ads however, especially the video ads, get really annoying. The biggest two drawbacks I have found to this app are that the checklists are not well explained. I don’t know how to limit the Pokémon on the checklist and check them off. I can name the list and select an icon, and I can assign Pokémon to a list from their page, but I’m not sure how that affects the list. Are they checked off or just in the list? The second is that for some weird reason, the app will not load unless either connected to the internet or cellular data is turned on. If I load it with an internet connection and leave the range of the internet with the app still open, it works fine. It would be nice to see a future version simply load up offline, it’s not like premium users are loading ads or that data needs to be updated immediately or in real time. It just doesn’t make sense. All in all, it is an excellent app with a couple of quirks. I highly recommend it..Version: 8.1

Really helpfulI’ve been using this app for a while and it’s really useful. It allows to plan out a good team for all Pokémon games. It’s really useful would recommend.Version: 3.3.6

AstonishingThis app is amazing it is perfect for Pokemon lovers it has everything you need and every Pokemon you can think of but there are to many adds. Despite that it is AMAZING.Version: 2.1.10

Best Dex A Trainer Could Ask ForLet me start out by saying that I’m currently 27, and throughout all my years of playing, nothing comes close to the ProDex when it comes to keeping you on your toes and ready to battle with the best Pokémon information there is! I use this app, mostly with Pokémon scarlet, but the app works with every Pokémon game there is. It comes in clutch when you’re in a battle and you don’t know the right type to use for your opponent. If you’re young and don’t have types memorized yet, this app will give you your opponents weaknesses and strengths. You just going to your Pokédex click on the Pokémon that they’re using, and it’s right below the Pokémon. You can create checklists for Pokémon that you’re looking for or Pokémon you have. You can look up every item that’s in the game and the App will tell you what it’s used for. Whenever I play Pokémon, this app is always open. This is my first ever app review. I’ve never thought about or wanted to write a review for any app that I’ve ever had, but I feel like it was necessary to write one for this app, because people need to know about it. If you don’t believe me, just look for yourself. I always recommend this app to anybody that I know or meet that plays Pokémon..Version: 13.14

A great app with one annoying consistent glitchAs a casual player with a lot of playtime, I love ProDex. It’s easy to set up a checklist to keep track of which Pokémon you caught and I often use it to quickly look up type-weaknesses and stats. However, there is a glitch that makes using it a little less convenient. If you use the app for more than two minutes, you’ll find that the entire app freezes up on you. You options are to wait it out, or close the app and open it again. A small glitch, but the amount of times it happens can get quite annoying. I still think it’s a great app. You can get data for about every main series Pokémon game, and I’ll likely be using it for Scarlet and Violet when it comes out. Keep in mind, however, that this comes from someone who hasn’t tried other Pokédex apps on the App Store..Version: 8.5

Wish I could give 10 StarsSimply an incredible project. Amazing work. I will use this every day for the rest of my life. Thank you, and enjoy the tips!!.Version: 13.25

Would be 5 stars if I could sort Pokémon by typeJust downloaded and I think this is a wonderful app! I love that I can actually plan out my team. However, (and I’m not sure if it’s part of premium) it would be great if you could sort the Pokémon by their types..Version: 5.0.8

Please Add ShiniesPlease add shinies to the Pokédex and to our custom parties. It would make a huge difference especially as I am a shiny hunter and that’s what I use the app for mostly. Thank you.Version: 5.0.9

Love it nut ideas for the next updateI absolutely love the dex and being able to make my team as such but it would be nice to see the Tera types in the Pokémon as well.Version: 13.14

Almost PerfectI’ve had this app for a while and I can say with all certainty it’s the best dex-type app I’ve used. Everything about it was has been great from the simple way to change game versions to the more detailed characteristics for each mon. The only real problem I have is with my favourite feature, the team builder. It would be perfect if, like the list feature, you could make a cross-versions team. Maybe it’s there and I just don’t see it, but I just give it a tad annoying when I try to add a galarian or hisuian mon to a team that can’t have them. It’s just a small change, but one I’m sure would be appreciated by not just me, but by other users of the app as well..Version: 8.4

Love itCan’t wait for the parties system I love pre planning teams.Version: 2.0.8

BrilliantSuper useful app for tracking pokémon caught - would be useful if all of the alternate forms were available because I'm trying to make a living pokédex with all alternate forms, but only some are shown on the app..Version: 13.10

Best Pokédex App out there and gets better with each update!!💜🥰💜I bought this app roughly 2 years ago. Back then it had some issues in various areas. But the developer really cares about this, and I messaged them on Twitter about the issue with height and weight for nearly all entries across all Pokédex versions having the incorrect unit label. It was fixed within 2-3 days, which was amazing. I use this for every Pokémon game I play, as I have them all, and I’m so happy they added lists! I used to have this giant excel file to keep track of what Pokémon I was catching in each game, and a separate file for my living dex. It was such a pain. I can’t recommend this app more to people, the fully paid version is awesome, but if you just need a Pokédex for a specific game, or an older one, they have options to just buy what you want..Version: 8.0

GreatGreat app, and constant updates 👍.Version: 15.0

Good app butThis app is great it shows pretty much every Pokémon in the games and there gigantamax it’s easy to see when they eveolve and when they learn a move but to see where you catch the Pokémon isn’t very good for two reasons you can’t see where you catch them in previous games and you can only see where to find them in a max raid battle.Version: 3.3.6

Almost perfect. This app is perfect in nearly every way. The information is cleanly laid out, and it's easy to find whatever you need. However, there's one problem with it. A few seconds after I launch the app, music starts up, sometimes playing over each other three or four times, with seemingly no way to turn it off. I don't know if this is a bug or intended, but if it's supposed to be there, could you add a way to turn it off? Thanks!.Version: 13.24

Good app, using to organize my Pokémon cardsEdit: I’m sorry, my user error. I didn’t know I had to pick a specific game to get that Pokédex. Don’t be stupid like me, you’ll waste hours of organizing. Sorry app devs! Keep up the good work I’m gonna leave my review so ppl don’t make the same mistake. 5 stars!! Ok, so I TRIED to use this app to organize my Pokémon cards by number, and when I was almost done with the Kanto cards I had realized even though I was at the end of the Pokédex, I had kanto cards left over. I looked back and there are almost 20 Pokémon missing. Good idea, otherwise good app, but missing Pokémon? Disappointed and I am reorganizing my cards as I’m writing. Not. Happy..Version: 3.3.2

Can’t play without it anymoreFeel like I have a real pokedex in my pocket. I really like it, very useful, thanks for this app.Version: 3.3.9

Needs some workReally great overall but really wish you could build a team with ANY Pokémon not just ones specific to a certain game like I would love an option for a national dex that includes every single pokemon.Version: 13.7

Pokémon goThe app is great and informative but it would be amazing if it had info for Pokémon go seeing as you have other non-core game data it would not be too much of a difference.Version: 15.0

Amazing app! Super helpfulThis app is so convenient and has so many filters and data sections and descriptions it’s insane. Very well organized and can even sort by generation. Honestly premium version is extremely worth it. Every time new games come out as well it’s updated pretty quick with small updates following the days of a new release, and you can even look up moves and what Pokémon in a certain generation can learn it by level up or breeding. More and more features get added and it’s a very smart download Only reasoning for no five stars is that there used to be a feature where on the moves section of a certain dex entry you were able to press on a certain move and it would take you to the part of the app where it gives a detailed description of the moves and it’s effects and everything like that. A button press is still registered but it no longer takes you to the description of the move and it’s a very long process to exit out of the move menu, the dex entry, and back to the main menu to go into the moves dex and search for the move there. A very high convenience tool and it hasn’t worked properly for a while, hopefully it is fixed soon.Version: 13.8

Best ever!Has any information you need, has helped me countless times when no other websites or apps could, however I wish it could keep track of the Pokémon you have so like a little check box next to the Pokémon. That would be great..Version: 3.1.3

Amazing App!Its absolutely amazing! It has helped me complete the pokedex in a few games. Wish there was an option to view the national dex, as I like to sort my Pokemon Bank in order of national dex. Other than that this app is great!.Version: 13.16

The best Pokédex appThe best Pokédex app I could find for iOS there was an old app called dexter but it isn’t supported for my phone and I found this. Would recommend..Version: 8.0

Awesome Pokedex AppI used to use the Dexter app but they stopped updating so I had to find a new pokedex app. Then I found ProDex and it has been the best and up to date app I’ve come across. Definitely give this app a try!! I’ll be using it from now on..Version: 13.34

Great - But has some bugsThis app is very useful! It’s like having a Pokédex of your own. I often get mixed up with specific typings so I often use the advanced type chart. There are some bugs that will show up every update (but that’s usually to be expected). The current bug as of this review is trying to create a checklist through the “locations” section will crash the app. There is one inaccuracy I have found in the information on the app, and that is that the Pokémon “Rolycoly” is not listed as a Pokémon that is visible in game on Route 3 in Sword and Shield. I don’t know if that was intentional or not because they only show up later in the route, but they should still be included in my opinion. Overall an amazing app for Avid Pokémon players, it really enhances the experience. With checklists, party building and the advanced type chart, you’re really getting all of the best information without the need of internet and easily accessible on your phone. The app is well formatted and in my opinion as a long time Pokémon fan, the best Pokédex app on IPhone.Version: 8.1

Almost perfect appTruly love this app! The UI is beautiful and the UX is seamless too. Small but critical bug that was introduced in the last update in which none of the Pokémon evolution views are not working anymore, and every Pokémon is now saying it does not have evolutions. Once this is fixed, back to being perfect!.Version: 15.0

Good BUTIt’s a great app, paid for the full version, the only issue is that many times, when you go on the pokemon you want you can only see the description of the moves they learn by level. All the other moves like TM or egg moves can’t be opened to see the description, and it’s many times frustrating as you can’t see directly the description of the attack.Version: 12.2

Awesome! This app is definitely the most well designed out of all the Pokédex apps I’ve seen. I’m really glad I found it! The updated shiny images are also very nice. My only complaint is that the starter Pokémon are missing from some of the generations, although I’m not sure if that’s something you guys are still working on. Update: I noticed that all the starter Pokémon are there, it’s just separated by game. It would be nice if you could see the complete Pokédex instead of having to keep switching what game you’re playing just to find a certain Pokémon that you’re looking for. Of course, I understand that you have to pay to unlock all the games, but I have already bought premium so it would be nice if I could see all the Pokémon in one list instead of having to switch games all the time. I hope you take this into consideration and keep up the great work!.Version: 3.2.3

Love itEverything is perfect, I just wish there was a full national dex that’s not bound to all games like in datadex. Also some alternate forms for male and female pokemons like hipopotas are only shown in the shiny display and not the normal. Only point that out because they show both female and male forms for other pokemons like shellos..Version: 13.10

:)I really like this app it has been perfect for planning my teams and looking up things about pokémon! keep up the good work!.Version: 8.1

Great appShould add a feature so that when you click on a move on a Pokémon in your party it gives the moves description and data..Version: 13.29

A nice new Dex for Gen 8Can’t wait for the team builder to be implemented!.Version: 1.9.1

Great appThe app is great & very informative with everything :), i have one issue though. I bought the sword & shield pack only and i’m still seeing ads :/ - i thought that you got premium with any pack you purchase. but overall it’s a great app 🎶.Version: 2.1.0

GreatGreat app, one suggestion: for the games with DLC (sword/shield, Violet/scarlet), add a filter for Pokémon that appear in the base game, the dlc, or both. Also the ability to filter out the Pokémon that uncatchable in the game (only tradeable) as they don’t really count towards the Pokédex. PLEASE..Version: 16.1

Well Laid Out and Detailed However Has Multiple Crash BugsGot the app and spent $2 to buy detailed stats (ad removal as well) for two separate Pokémon games. The app looks very clean and there is a lot of information. The searching and options issues have also been resolved. This is one of the cleanest looking apps for looking up detailed information on Pokémon..Version: 3.3.9

PromisingLove how up to date this app is, by far one of the best out right now. However I’d love to see an upgraded filter system, so you could filter by generation, and you can select multiple types at once. I do wish the team building section have the option to bypass the generation option and simply do all Pokémon. Also maybe a feature that allows you to hold down on items or moves to expand them so we can read exactly what they do? Anyhow, the app is great, I’d love to see it updated more!.Version: 12.0

Language optionsVery nice design. But I cannot find an option to switch languages. ( Thanks I found it!).Version: 9.2

One of the best PokéDEX I have ever seen! This is a fantastic app. It is very well organized and done very professionally I absolutely love the layout and how they do giveaways sometimes on social media. The only problem that I have is that you can not access all the Pokémon form every generation at the same time it is only the gen available Pokémon that are in each game. Same goes with the team builder. I love making Pokémon teams for me and for other people on this app however, I can’t really make a team with a gen 5 starter Pokémon and gen 8 Pokémon together specifically. Other than that like I said above this is easily one of the best PokéDEXs out there I recommend it to all of my friends who play competitive and they love it too. Highly recommend getting it..Version: 3.2.11

UpdatesOk but it is still on gen 8 even though there are other apps like ProtoDex go up to gen 13.Version: 13.10

Best PokédexI’ve only had this app for like a month and now I can’t stop using it.The only issue is that I can’t find the different forms of some Pokémon and all the new updates are in game purchases. But over all I love this app.Version: 8.0

So glad I found thisThis is really a great resource, I had been using dexter for so long but really needed something that included gen 8. Its very easy to navigate and has wayyyy more information than any other app I’ve seen. I don’t think I’ve ever seen another that included the locations, especially for the different move tutors!! So helpful (tysm developers). Being able to sort by type would be nice but the way it’s laid out it’s easy to scroll through the full dex quickly so it’s hardly an issue. One thing that I think it would be nice to see is the option to build a team with gen 8 Pokémon and the full national dex instead of just what’s available in swsh (I like to make themed teams to use on pkmn showdown) but that in no way takes away from how good this already is. Every time I look thru it I find something else I like about it. Great job devs!!.Version: 3.3.6

Thank you!Just started playing Pokémon once again since Gen IV, now playing BD/SP on the Switch. Brought back many memories, thank you for quality Pokedex app!.Version: 5.0.3

I love it although there are a few things that could be better...Hi, so I really love this app and I had absolutely no storage beforehand so, I used this fun websites and yet my older brother kept bothering me about downloading ProDex, then I just had enough of it and decided to try downloading it at evening but I couldn’t test it because I had to get ready to go to bed, then I woke up this morning and surprised my brother with a Kyogre Pokédex entry since that was his fAvOrItE PoKéMoN for some reason and he was pretty happy like “WhAt sInCe wHeN dId yOu dOwNlOaD PrODex!?” But when I made my first team: Ally’s Regular Party, It consisted of a Rapidash, Primarina, Ninetales, Alakazam, Espeon, and Ditto, I wanted to make my Gym Leader Team but I couldn’t because I needed the Premium Version and I got pretty mad like, it’s fine to have the Premium Version but not for extra parties! I just think that’s just childish so maybe in the next update you could remove the Premium Version for making other parties! Plz? :).Version: 3.3.9

I love the app needs some adjustmentsI have used several Pokédex apps throughout the years and the UI and feel of it is fan-freaking-tastic. However I have a gripe, for me to give this app 5 stars they need to work on being able to select a move and reading what it does with a Description. It’s disappointing I have to switch out to a different app/website to view moves and sometimes abilities. If you refine this aspect I would give this app 5 stars no problem I’m a fan of so many other aspects and quality of life upgrades it gives to having the information readily available in a easy to read way. I hope the devs see this and fix that..Version: 13.10

Thank. You!!!Ok so I reeeeeeally love Pokémon, like a lot, and I know a lot about it, I recently decided I’d try my luck at completing the Sword and Shield Pokédex. Now I needed an app that would tell me where to find the Pokémon I needed, and how. I tried several different apps, the majority of them I spent five minutes in and found wrong information. The others ones I tried didn’t even work. When I discovered Prodex I jumped for joy, no false info, and so much detailed information, it tells me where to find the Pokémon, the spawn rate, how it spawns, what game it’s from, and what weather type. This is so much info!! It helped me so so so much! Update: I’m still a loyal fan of this app, just two suggestions! I would love to see a Dex that shows every Pokémon rather than game exclusives. Then finally it would be so awesome if we could get gym leader guides as well, that would be super helpful..Version: 8.1

Perfect except for one annoying thingApp is fantastic everything I was after in a Pokédex app, especially as I like to play a range of the previous ds games it was a massive help. The one annoying thing is despite paying premium to have ads removed there seems to be some sort of bug where I will get the audio of an ad play in the background; happens mostly on the party screen annoyingly where I’ve spent most of my time on the app..Version: 8.1

Great tool, something is missingI spotted in the Pokédex gen 6 section that there are some Pokémon missing, I restarted and reinstalled the app to see if it was a glitch but they are still not there, I don’t know if it’s just me with this issue, the Pokémon I notice to be missing are Froakie, Frogadier, Greninja, chespin, quilladin, chesnaught, Fennekin, Briaxen and Delphox. Basically the gen 6 starter Pokémon Other than that I find this app really useful. It help me learn more about Pokémon and there moves sets, Evolution, items and more, oh and to remember there names. I give this a 5 star even if there are some Pokémon missing at the moment..Version: 3.0.1

Such a great app. 5 stars easilyI absolutely love this app and use it everytime I play an old Pokémon game. It’s so useful. There are a couple features I wish it had. 1. If it could show the gyms and elite four mons and details. 2. Maps that can be interacted with. 3. This one might be very difficult but I would pay for it, maybe a walk through of some sort, at least for hidden items. 4. Legendaries guide 5. List of events or points of interest.Version: 8.5

Roaring Moon incorrect WeaknessNot a negative review, simply letting the devs know a little error I found, when you swap from Salamance to roaring moon, the x4 weakness to ice isn’t removed, in fact I don’t think the resistance’s and weaknesses are updated when you swap forms, just the stats, not a negative review by any means, just letting the devs know there are some discrepancies in the paradox forms.Version: 13.35

Love this app butI absolutely love this app however it would be pretty good if you could search by type, and I really wish they could add Pokémon go to their list as it’s hard finding a software that’s as good as this one anywhere else..Version: 3.3.6

Super HelpfulI ended up buying the upgrades for this app immediately because I found it so helpful and wanted to support it. It has almost everything I could think to look up about a Pokémon. So far the only thing it seems to be missing is the number of steps needed to hatch a Pokémon’s egg. Actually, I’d love (and would pay extra for) a breeding specific tab, since I’m currently using the team builder to keep track of my breeding projects. Aside from that, I’d really like a national dex, even if it was just a numbered list and clicking on a Pokémon prompted you to choose a game or something. It’d also be nice to be able to swipe through the Pokémon info pages (especially for the evolution lines) instead of backing out then clicking on the next one, but that’s a minor thing. Overall, this app has been really useful and I’m super happy with it as is.Version: 13.25

The BEST PokéDex app!I love everything about this app. It’s so great for managing teams and looking for Pokémon. I adore the UI design and layout and how straight up clean this looks. The $5 is definitely worth the spend, as there’s so much to use. I only have 2 requests to help the app look even better than it is. Some of the Pokémon with multiple forms only display one; Deerling and Sawsbuck for example. Hoping the team could maybe add the other forms? My other request is a Nat Dex option to look at all the Pokémon collectively. The team has stated they’re looking into this and I understand that it’s a radical task to take on, so I hope they take all the time they need to get it out! All around—this app is ESSENTIAL for Pokémon game players..Version: 8.5

Amazing so farLoving this app so far, it would be amazing if you could view the full cross-versions pokedex version instead of just sorting by generations. The app has alot of potential and i’m proud of the community for creating a working pokedex app, especially since nintendo just hasn’t for some reason.Version: 13.20

Be able to see pokemons from each listI love this app so much that I bought premium! The only thing I’m begging for is for the users to be able to see pokemons marked for each list. Then, you won’t have to go pokemon by pokemon, trying to find which one you have already added to a certain list. That’s all I ask for :,).Version: 13.33

Nearly perfectAmazing to finally have a dex app that’s up to date but the team building function feels very limited due to its fixation on competitive formats.Version: 3.3.6

Good not GreatI originally was using Dexter which after a a few years without updates I decided to try this. It's good overall but lacks some features that would greatly improve the experience. I'd recommend trying it and it's the best you'll find from my research. Just some ideas and thoughts:! Click and move the Pokemons position in the party. Be able to search/sort Pokemon through tags like type, top stat, gen, legendarys, starters etc... Same with moves. Type, of they are physical, special or status. Ability to reorder teams Sizing the Pokemons images so they are uniform. Some sprites are so small some are so big. Ivs should display when adding Pokemons moves and Pokemons type Should be able to add moves directly when looking at Pokemon rather than going into it Holding on a move should reveal its ability Compare pokemons stats.Version: 3.3.6

James Turner 🇳🇿This app is amazing and has so much info that’s essential for any Pokémon trainer or person new to the game wanting to learn up on Pokémon or make potential teams. A suggestion I have would be if you could include Pokémon gym leader and elite four teams. Also could you change the app so that it is also offline compatible. Just as I have to use my own mobile data or wait till I have wifi to access the app. Aside from that it’s an amazing app, highly suggest to download it 👍🏽👍🏽.Version: 13.18

Most likely the best Pokédex out there! This is a comprehensive dex which is always updated , and has moves , pokemon , items locations and more! You can also use it offline , so no internet required- you can look through the leagues of info stored here! Truly bravo to the devs , a wonderful job! (Pssst…. Hey you devs there? One feature that could possibly be added is scrolling through the Pokémon to the next one , makes it easier to just look through the Pokémon (double ps, if you do add the scrolling, make it sideways, not downwards)).Version: 8.5

An clean, effective and simple dex appFirst off, this is an impressive app covering every game from generation 1 through to generation 8. I use it all the time when playing through Sword and Shield. My only feedback, and suggestion so far, would be having the move list show which Pokemon can learn that move, similar to the way the abilities list works. Other than that, the app looks beautiful, contains a lot of information, and is more accurate than most other dex apps as far as I can tell. I can’t wait to see the team builder when it’s done as I like to play with, and build, different teams. Could we get an update on when this is expected to go live? Keep up the great work!.Version: 2.1.15

Fantastic appFirstly, this is the best PokéDex app I’ve found. It loads quickly, it is easily accessible. The search feature is excellent, including the filters section. It makes it super easy to find any specific Pokémon you’re looking for. The one thing I’d like to see added to the app however is the option to list every Pokémon there is. Similar to the choose your game section, but a category that adds the option to not exclude any Pokémon from the Dex due to it not appearing in certain generations. Overall fantastic app and am eager to see where it goes in the future especially with the release of Scarlet and Violet oncoming.Version: 8.5

Perfect Dex?I’ve used this app constantly since I got it and couldn’t help but get all the add on stuff because it’s so well made and comprehensive. Only thing I ask is, what’s the possibility of getting a true dex? A lot of the game ones will show all the previous games except for a couple Pokémon or they’ll skip a game. Would it be feasible to have a mode to see every single Pokémon, map, etc at the same time? Like merging every single game filter into one and scrolled in the sections for items, moves, maps, or tms and the likes. I think it’d be nice to at least see every Pokémon at the same time. Either way, fantastic app! Would rate 6 out of 5 if I could!.Version: 13.30

Look no further!I've been an avid pokemon fan most of my 23 years and as such have been on the hunt for a good pokedex since I got a smartphone. I've had a few different ones, some good, some abhorrent to tell the truth. None of them have been as good as this one. It's updated quickly after new content is added, including adding Teal Mask information less than 48 hours after the dlc released, and the UI is great. There's really only one thing which I would like the developer to address if possible, and it's basically personal preference. I'd love for there to be perhaps a less in-depth option that's like an international dex, where you can look at all the pokemon regardless of generation and see basic information about them, like typing, EV yield, and how they evolve. Perhaps it could even have information for pokemon go since that gives some direction to the thought. And that's it. It's a wonderful app that's definitely worth supporting. My only regret is not reviewing it sooner..Version: 14.1

BrilliantI’ve used a fair few Pokédex apps before but this one has to be my favourite. It’s style is simplistic yet beautiful. It’s easy to navigate and provides all information in a succinct manner. Suggestion for improvement: under the held items tab, the non consumables could do with having a sub category of “continuous” and “once per battle” ,or something like that, just to make clear what items provide there benefits once, such as the Eject-button or Air-balloon. As not all of these items (in app or in game) clarify that the item only activates once in battle unlike items such as the Assault Vest whose effects last the whole battle. Please note, this suggestion is no-where near necessary. The app is already fabulous and it’s quality far surpasses many of the the other Pokédex app (paid ones included)..Version: 1.9.1

Useful idea but fatally flawedIf I click the option to “Sort by Regional Dex” why would the resulting list use national dex numbers? I need a patch asap ! I paid the full $5 to have a handy and uncomplicated reference tool. I feel dumb. Why would a “List”layout label a section “1-50” and leave you to do the math yourself instead of just having the nuBERS THERE TO HELP!?!! Why is there no option to change this? I mean you are supposed to be a pokédex… no need to do too much. Just make a list, Frriggin number it. like what the heck (with an ‘f’ and a ‘u’ instead of ‘he’). keeping it PG so u see this. update: I was wrong, Sway. There is a search bar…. That’s embarrassing..Version: 9.9

The perfect Pokédex for your go to needsI’ve had this app for a good few months now (maybe longer?) and I’ve got to say. It’s absolutely superb. Upgrading to the pro version was worth it too. I’m someone who jumps between all my different games incredibly frequently, starting up new playthroughs often and I’m not one for remembering type match ups so this app has been mega helpful. AND it has all the different available Pokémon for specific games (which can be filtered) as well as their moves, evolution specifics etc etc. Amazing. My only complaint would be that the specific Pokémon weakness charts (which are super helpful) have recently stopped loading? I’ll tap onto a certain Pokémon to check what the type match ups are, but all I’ll get are the type icons all huddled together in the middle. Otherwise it’s a perfect app. Keep up the awesome work ;).Version: 3.3.9

Great, but a few bugsThe interface of the app is great and easy to use, i love how the pokémon are laid out. There are a few bugs though, like having to press the pokédex button a few times to get it to open. The worst is the search bar which crashes the app after typing more than one letter, i’d love to see this fixed!.Version: 3.3.8

Helped a lot! This app has helped me so much with keeping track of my pokédex progress as well as being a good tool that explains what different moves/abilities do. It has everything in one place and i'm glad to have finally found an app like this one!.Version: 8.1

Awesome AppI love this app. Its speedy, and fully informative. I literally use it with everyone pokemon i run into i dont recognize. Finding out the types, stats, moves, and additional info all easily displayed. Looking up TMs and move description/info also good to use. The type chart is a little hard to cross check but still useful. This app provides everything a pokedex should which is why I gave it 5 stars. I do wish it had better comparison tools, and something like a damage calculator with consideration to a pokemon’s stats and type, move type, move damage ect. Also identifying where TMs are located and more thorough explanation of certain mechanisms. Honestly, just taking all the game relevant from bulbapedia and implement it into this app so i dont need to bounce back and forth between bulbapedia and aimless google searches. This app should strive to be my one stop app to answer ALL my in game questions. Again, very happy as a pokedex app though!.Version: 13.7

Feature requestThis app is absolutely fantastic, only request would be a “Mark as caught” (maybe dull the sprite & highlight it once ticked) button for the complete Pokédex to assist in completing the Pokédex in game.Version: 1.9.3

Great app!Highly detailed, very clean user interface, and has everything you could ask for from a pokedex, but i’ve got a few suggestions... -Show how pokemon evolve (eg what level) -Show pokemon’s locations other than that, great app!.Version: 1.9.3

New user first impressionsI’ve just started using the app to replace an older app I once used that was very good and now doesn’t exist. I’ve struggled to find a good alternative since, however this app appears to be a good competitor and has much more features from just being a Pokédex. You can setup your teams from all versions of Pokémon games and include specific information about each Pokémon on your team. If you buy premium you can build multiple teams. My current most used feature on the app is the type chart, incredibly useful and efficient, not only does it show the chart but you can pick types (single or dual) and it will bring up all the information about it for you underneath, so it’s a very good all in one place for your Pokémon needs! One complaint I have is that when looking to view the shiny forms, you have to scroll down to the bottom of the page. I would much prefer to be able to see a side by side comparison of the shiny and the original as well as being able to see the 3D models of both, not just the 2D sprite/ image..Version: 10.1

Overall greatOverall, an excellent app. Great design, layout and features available all for free. Would benefit from improvements to the search feature in Pokédex so you can filter by type or egg type etc..Version: 5.0.9

Tried a few. Settled on this. Paid for all current DLCI’ve tried a few different Pokédex apps and this is the first one I’ve seen that lists learned move levels correctly for each generation. Grinding a Pokemon for its next move, only to find it DOESN’T learn it at the level other Pokédexs falsely claim it should, is no joke. Blue and LeafGreen Blastoise learn the same moves at different levels in each game (as I found during a recent replay). Pro Dex correctly lists this Pokémon's moves at the correct level for each game, whereas others (and some popular online Pokémon sites) don’t. The only thing I might suggest is a list of Pokemon that are unique among generational cartridge pairs. Red can catch X, while Blue can catch Y, etc. I’m playing through Blue and Red for the umpteenth time on two different devices and it would be nice if I could concentrate on catching in one game, what I can’t in the other, so I can trade via cable to try for a complete Pokédex. A quick-list of colour-specific Pokémon per generation cartridge pair would be great..Version: 3.2.3

Exactly What I WantThis is exactly what I want from a Pokemon app. Filtering Pokemon by game and types, using the type chart for attack type coverage instead of just defenses, creating teams, etc. There is a current issue that I want to bring up to make it sure the developers are aware. When trying to open a move page from a Pokemon page, and it is not a move the Pokemon learns by level-up, it takes very long to open or doesn’t at all. I would think this is an easy fix since it doesn’t happen for every move, so I still give this app a 5-star. I saw another review about this so I know it's not just me. Two suggestions I have to improve usability, if feasible, is to allow for redirecting to ability pages from a Pokemon’s page (just like it does for moves), and have a button that directs back to the home screen from anywhere to prevent having to click back multiple times..Version: 13.4

Best Pokémon app on the App StoreI’ve gone through many apps on the App Store to find one that has all the information that you need to know and this has been by far the best one. Absolutely worth getting the pro version as they update the app very fast and it gives you everything you need. Not to mention it’s very aesthetically pleasing without losing content..Version: 11.3

Very cool! It’s awesome. Looking forward to updates. Well done poké professors!.Version: 1.1

Great!I loved the app so much I paid for the upgraded packs (that aren’t really necessary) to show my support to the creators, y’all did a great job!.Version: 3.3.9

Not working while offlinePlease make it work while offline 😔🙏🙏.Version: 13.24

I love itI love it, one thing that would be cool is if u could multi select Pokémon from the main screen to add to your check list instead of having to click the Pokémon then click the checkbox.Version: 12.2

Great potentialThis is one of the nucest looking pokedex's I've seen. it looks very crisp and I really appreciate the look. A few things I wanted to mention however(since it seems like the devs are keeping up with these reviews very well, great job!!) I noticed a few spelling errors on the introductory messages, I personally don't care about this, but I don't want it to scare off other customers. I also noticed a bug when I'm on the pokedex section, when I click the menu button on the top right, it locks up the app, I'm not yet sure what it is intended for, but I presume(and hope) that it is a filter, for types and egg groups or what not. Additionally on that page, I think it would be a great idea to allow the option to display the Pokémon in list format going from top to bottom. I can still appreciate seeing all the Pokémon in a box, but I feel it might make it easier to go through them if they in a vertical alignment. In the end those are just my critiques, I have high hopes for this app, once the team builder is created and those other points get hit, this will be my go to Pokédex app!.Version: 2.1.15

LOVE UPDATED: THIS APP!!! Want to add more feedback 😅Love the app since Dexter app is MIA this app helps ease that pain LOL! So hyped about the update on teams, however I noticed you don't have an option for adding a Shiny Pokemon on the team option. Not sure if you are working on that but if not PLEASE PLEASE add that option!! Dexter app had that option and love it 😊 Such a great app!! 😁👍🏼 Beside mentioning above, also noticed when creating teams I am only able to use Pokemon from a specific game instead of picking Pokémon from every gen. For example: I am creating a team for Isle of Armor coming up and have to select a category for the game which I picked SW/SH, however I wanted to add Shinx on my team builder but it wont allow me because its on another game generation. It would be great to pick any Pokemon from any Gen when team building instead of just picking from the selected gen or have an option to select more than one category of game gen..Version: 3.0.5

I truly love this app!I love that you give almost all the information about each and every pokemon, however there some things that you developers could improve on. 1. Give the location of where you can find the items in the game like you do with the “catch” tab with each pokemon! 2. Make a compare tab for pokemon! Show the stats of two pokemon and see which ones overall stats are better than the others! This would help us with choosing which pokemon to use depending on the type in each game! 3. Have a sort option for pokemon with gender differences! Just a little something to add to see what pokemon with gender differences look like in game. (Show what female/male pokemon look like!) 4. Add pokemon animations per each game! Show what their animations are in each pokemon info page! I know that’s a lot to ask but it’d be fricking awesome nonetheless! That’s it from me for now! Hope this feedback reaches you developers! Thank you guys for this awesome app! You guys are awesome keep it up!.Version: 8.1

Well made great appVisually impressive from the get go, so I purchased all content. I like the selection mode to choose the game you require the specific information. Well done and keep up the great work..Version: 3.2.3

PerfectI bought the full version, well worth it 🙏🏻 app is excellent, intuitive, and makes playing way easier. I was so sick of having to go online and search “where is this mon in that game” or item etc.. now I can just load the gen and game dex and have literally every bit of info I need right there. It’s especially helpful for me as I skipped gen 5/6/7 as I was getting older when they came out. Really helps me refresh as well as learn about all of the “new” Pokémon as I’m playing. I do however have two requests/suggestions. I think this app would do well to include a “living dex” section. Something that isn’t directly referencing a specific version, but rather the Pokédex as a whole. Perhaps where you could maybe click on a Pokémon and view which games they can be caught in. But more importantly where you can see the true dex fully in dex order. As pokemon advances the need for this would increase greatly as not all Pokémon are being passed up. My only other request would be specific for gen 9, a Tera type chart. Similar to the one you have already however in this you would enter the original typing/dual typing then add the Tera. I am constantly finding myself misjudging weaknesses on Tera raids. That is all..Version: 13.18

Great app!I’ve recently been trying to find a Pokédex app just for the heck of it since a phone is very similar to one. This is by far the best app I’ve seen so far and the pro version is not bad as far as price goes! The only thing, and this is very nit picky and probably shouldn’t even matter, is that acuity cavern is missing from the locations for Pokémon brilliant diamond and shining pearl. Now I know there’s no actual Pokémon in the cave aside from uxie and I don’t know if any other locations from games are missing too, but if this could be addressed, that would be cool. If not, like I said before, it’s not even that big of an issue if at all..Version: 7.16

Best Pokédex AppHands down the best Pokédex app there is. Now that I’ve started using this I won’t be using anything else. There is one feature I would like to see added that would make this my exclusive use for anything Pokémon related and that would be an addition to the Team Builder mode to see a type effectiveness chart with your specified Pokémon. When looking at team synergy I like to look at a glance what my overall biggest weaknesses are and having something like a team type effectiveness chart makes that really useful. Regardless, even without this feature the app is still a 5/5 and recommend anyone to download it..Version: 5.0.12

Super HelpfulBeen playing through a lot of old Pokémon games and found this super helpful for finding out evolutions, locations etc. devs are also great, I made the mistake of thinking my purchase was lost after updating but they got back to me and explained how to restore the purchase..Version: 5.0.1

Just got it, worth itJust downloaded the app half an hour ago, i've purchased the mega premium at a bargain (36p less than the games seperately) I hope this project keeps going for as long as pokemon does 😊.Version: 9.11

AMAZING APP! Minor tweaks neededI absolutely love this app. It is my goto when looking for information regarding any main line Pokémon game. There are some tweaks that need to made in regards to move list of pokemon. When you click them from the Pokémon’s page it doesn’t always bring up the description. Which is a minor annoyance. The paid added content is worth it. And I commend the team for quickly updating the app during the release of scarlet and violet. I had to donate more! That was impressive. What I would like to see in the future is an update to the team building section. Right now it does not show the stat increases when you add EVs. And you are not able to change the level of the Pokémon to change in stats. It remains at lv 50..Version: 13.10

It’s a very handy, convenient, and usefulAs stated in the title, this app is super convenient, especially if your doing research, with the new release of Pokémon scarlet and violet, even though the logs are brand new they are super helpful, I can see the effort and time put into the app. I enjoy the checklist feature especially enjoy the checklist feature, because it allows me to keep track of Pokédex progress without having to go through and entire menu and scrolling through just to see which Pokémon I don’t have. I can’t even begin to start on how many times I’ve caught myself looking at the type chart in the middle of a battle because I forget which type is weaker or stronger to which. Those are only the tip of the iceberg so if your reading the reviews I would highly recommend getting the app because it’s just so convenient to have, it’s up to dat and the devs are updating with as much as they can with the information currently available!.Version: 9.2
