Good app but one big problemThis is a good Pokédex probably the best for that matter but there is something that needs to be made clear to the developer. For me and most of the other people who download these Pokédex apps one of the most important features is the team builder. It is also my personal favorite features of these apps and most people like to make multiple teams but if make people pay for that it’s kinda childish no offense to the developer whatsoever you’re obviously very talented butI downloaded this app like a year ago and that wasn’t there and people are not going to buy that it’s not really worth the money. I mean I don’t really care about money but that’s kind of ridiculous. If you really want to get people to buy something then add new features like a battle mode or something I would pay for that. Again you are a very talented developer and I mean it when I say that this is probably the best Pokédex app out there but that’s kinda of ridiculous and as a game developer especially a mobile game developer this is stuff that you need to know. Also please respond if you read this.Version: 8.1

Cant search a pokémonThe app crashes every time i search a pokemon.Version: 3.3.8

NahThis app is azz.Version: 3.3.6

Bad experience on older iPhonesThe UI is good and there are plenty of features, but if you want to use this on an older iPhone (iPhone 6S or older) there is a lot of lag, loading time and sometimes the text doesn’t fit in the display on the iPhone SE 2016 If you want a more fluid experience on older iPhones than I’d recommend an app like Bulbapedia..Version: 13.14

No offline access at all.Seriously? Can’t use it offline in any capacity whatsoever?? So ridiculous, especially if you’ve paid extra for things….Version: 16.1

BadWhy do i need wifi to access this. if i already had wifi i would use better places like serebii, pokemon database and bulbapedia.Version: 16.1

Works okay, ads are invasiveProDex works well on a number of fronts for what it’s supposed to do and overall, I like it as a resource app. I have three major complaints: - Spelling is too often incorrect, and not just on small words but instances such as “Platinium” on the version select. I have read the developers are French so this isn’t my biggest issue, but it’s noticeable. - Catch information is sometimes incomplete; I noticed Pokemon Emerald’s third Gen to be completely missing all catch locations for the game’s main generation, being listed instead as “Uncatchable”. I imagine a lot of information is probably just fine, but for one of the most popular games to be missing it’s main Pokemon catch locations makes me wonder where else there’s missing info. - Ads are overly invasive. I cannot go through more than 2-3 tabs if that before encountering yet another ad. I am no stranger to having ads in a well designed, free app, but some of these ads are seemingly impossible to click out of due to the ‘x’ being so small. Usually I will have to restart the app to even continue looking for something. The developers have helpfully included an ad removal option for $0.99, but in my opinion, the ads are frequent enough to dissuade me from wanting to use this app and the typos/misinformation above are enough to dissuade me from wanting to pay the $0.99 for it. It’s a good effort that needs some refinement and polish, but as of this review, incomplete..Version: 3.0.9

Everything but the Pokédex worksEvery other tab opens and works perfectly but the Pokédex itself freezes when opened, kinda disappointed.Version: 3.2.9

Was 5 starWas an amazing app untill they updated it and now it’s stuck in loading and no matter how many times I force close or uninstall and reinstall it’s stays in the same loading spot really sucks cause I paid for the full version.Version: 13.34

Not greatThe app is missing several Pokémon’s like Roserade (and it’s pre-evolutions). Not to mention all the ads….Version: 14.1

CrashesI like what the app would do... if it didn't crash, freeze, etc every time i try to use it. gets stuck trying to do the simplest thing, making it less convenient than just looking up the pokemon online..Version: 3.3.2

Its goodBut i shouldn't be getting ads on something i payed for, at least not as often.Version: 5.0.3

A Father's Search For The Perfect PokedexI'm sitting here in this hospital waiting room, awaiting the arrival of my first born son, and all I can think about is how this moment parallels my quest for the perfect Pokedex app. It's like finding a lost Jedi temple, a shining beacon in the Pokemon community, a one stop source for all our needs. But alas, every app I find falls short, like the Empire's hold on the galaxy. The flaws, they're as abundant as the stars in the sky. For Prodex, I'll give you two examples, just two. First, I can never tap to open the information on moves that are further down the list, like egg moves and more. Second, where's the creativity, the innovation? We could be generating so much more money and blessing the Pokemon community, but instead the likes of Bulbapedia, Smogon, Serebii, Teambuilder and countless others continue to vie for attention. The thought of my son facing these same challenges fills me with dread. But then, I remember the words of the great Jedi master, Yoda: "Do or do not, there is no try." And with that thought, I'm filled with a new hope. This is a call to arms, fellow trainers. As I await the arrival of my son, I vow to continue my quest for the ultimate Pokedex app. A legacy for my son, and for the Pokemon community. May the force be with us all..Version: 13.14

It’s not up-to-date with infoSome of the information on certain Pokémon are false and inaccurate there were times I had to go onto the website and look up the info on the Pokémon’s Evolution, Egg gender chances, moves etc.Version: 6.5

GoodGood app ! But I would like the option to mark which pokemon I’ve caught and which ones I want in the future !.Version: 5.0.3

Paid features don’t workI loved the free version of this app so much I decided to upgrade to a paid version to take advantage of additional features such as checklists. Unfortunately, when I go to create a checklist, the app crashes. I’ve tried everything to fix this and nothing works..Version: 8.1

Useless for travelling withThe app requires an internet connection for when you first open it. Seeing as the point of this is to give you the information in an app I’m not sure why it needs to connect but if you’re offline the thing just says connecting ad infinitum. I could just connect to the internet to look up this information if I was online..Version: 5.0.12

FULL of bugs.Made in app purchases and this thing won’t even stay open. Crashes almost immediately..Version: 3.3.8

Good UI but features are not intuitiveGood looking UI but certain features like checklists don’t make sense. What is the progress out of? The entire Pokédex? You should be able to select Pokémon to add to the checklist either individually or by whole generations and then tick them off once acquired..Version: 9.8

Critical bug and 2 requestsThere is a bug right now which, if fixed, will change my rating. Many of the Pokémon’s type weaknesses (the main use of the app for me) just don’t show up. The icons for the types are there, but there are no values next to them, and the icons are all scrunched together instead. I’m on iOS 14.7.1 I also have two feature requests. 1. When I clear the search field the keyboard goes away. Usually when I clear it like that it’s because I want to search for another Pokémon. Keep the focus in the search field and leave my keyboard where it is. I’ll swipe down on the keyboard if I want it to go away. 2. I’m often comparing Pokémon, perhaps a touch-and-hold could pin them or favorite them so I can quickly view them one after another. Especially useful during team battles..Version: 3.3.9

Not badIt’s pretty good but for me is heavily held back by having to choose a game for teams and dex. Would much prefer a national dex option, at the very least to experiment and make fun teams. Even if I can’t use them in game. This app would become my primary Pokédex and team app if it weren’t for the lack of national dex. If that ever happens I’ll reinstall.Version: 8.1

Looks nice, but functions averagelyI downloaded this app to find out a few things while playing Pokémon Shield, and I saw this was one of the higher rated ones. It’s got everything set out into particular categories to help you navigate your way into what you need. However, the nice looks dont help when the app crashes whenever you try and search a Pokémon’s name, and the full screen ads that you can’t get out of, even when they’re finished, make for an average experience. I’d almost be willing to pay for premium to circumvent this, but it doesn’t explicitly state, nor compare, what the difference between premium and free is. It’s a great looking app but it’s frustrating to use..Version: 3.3.8

Not a bad appI can’t seem to find what level and what to each Pokémon evolve.Version: 8.1

Good but missing basic featuresThis will be a 5 star review if I could turn off national dex for each generation..Version: 5.0.3

Where are the starters?Hardly any of the starters are on here!! Just gen 1 and gen 7 and 8! What gives???.Version: 3.2.3

IPad support ?This app would be a world on its own had there been iPad support..Version: 7.16

Could do with an updateI don’t like that the Pokédex isn’t arranged for the versions from each game. Should also number the Pokémon and add a checklist to mark what Pokémon I’ve caught in game. Also should give the locations of each Pokémon, as well as updating to support the new Isle of Armor DLC.Version: 3.0.9

Just one thing…I love it and I bought everything within the app but I would love to be able to have the Pokémon icons a little bigger my eyesight is not that great so it would be nice to maybe have a setting that could change that. I want to be able to view all Pokémon throughout all the games and not have to be able to just pick one game to view the Pokédex. I also understand that would be difficult though.Version: 13.16

Needs to fix a major bugAfter paying $8.99 for the full app, only to find that the filter function freezes the whole app and does not work in the end. Everything else seems to work..Version: 6.3

Missing PokémonIt is missing Pokémon. Like starly and it’s tree And GEODUDE one of the first generation.Version: 3.3.6

Great app BUT .....Such a shame, very nicely made app. But every time when Ad finishes, the app crushes 🙀.Version: 3.2.3

Missing PokémonBy all means it is great, shows what moves you get at what levels and it shows the evolution charts very well. But it’s missing multiple Pokémon, Doduo and Doutrio along with multiple starters I noticed, so maybe not ideal if you’re using certain Pokémon..Version: 3.3.9

Missing PokémonI noticed aipom and other Pokémon are missing :/ kinda disappointing.Version: 3.3.6

Missing pokemonGood but missing some pokemon..Version: 3.3.9

BIGGEST SCAM EVER!!!App is visually appealing - absolutely outstanding. HOWEVER, the in-app purchased is a scam! I spent $9 on the premium pack to get full access to the app's features. Only until after the payment was made did I discover that nothing had changed whatsoever. AND I AM STILL GETTING ADS WHEN IT SAID I WOULD NOT GET ANY AFTER PURCHASING ANY PACK IN THE SHOP!!! Absolutely disgusted by this abysmal attempt of an app that doesn’t even attain the MOST BASIC ASPECTS OF A POKÉDEX APP - MOVE SETS FOR EACH POKÉMON!!!.Version: 2.1.0

Pretty goodEasy to navigate, more than enough info on every Pokémon, great app so I bought premium for bdsp. Only complaint is that I can’t use the app when offline, which is pretty frustrating..Version: 13.10

Decent, but lacks features.Currently no way to search all Pokémon, search is restricted to game versions, which is very frustrating. No way to view Pokémon by type..Version: 8.1

Team Builder is uselessI can't do anything in the team builder. The delete button doesn't work and I can't delete teams or delete a Pokemon in a team. I can add moves and items just fine but then I cannot leave that screen without completely closing out the app and opening it again..Version: 4.0

Not badGood app but is missing Pokémon like murkrow and crabrawler, plz fix and will give 5*.Version: 3.3.11

Decent, but requires some improvementI looked at most of the review, and I’m surprised none mentioned anything about why Gen 2-6 starters are missing, including other Pokémon’s from other generations. I believe you tried to list Pokémon’s that are in gen 8 instead of having every pokemon up to gen 8, and in my opinion, that just confuses me. I believe the Pokédex should have all the Pokémon instead of the “Change Version” function. I would only see the “Change Versions” function useful to show what Pokémon are available in that version game, but believe that should be either a sort option in the Pokédex or its own panel in the main menu, not a function you can do in the menu. If you want to keep it in the menu, have it as a feature where it changes the background and that’s it, nothing else to do with the Pokédex. The team builder is affected by this as I can’t have a pokemon that’s not in the gen 8 version and can’t have any gen 8 pokemon if I changed the version, this is quite annoying and would like this issue to be sorted as soon as possible please. It’s the only app that had gen 8 that’s mostly what’s good about this app. It’s really slow when loading some things, generally the Pokédex. Summary • Improve Pokédex loading speed (If you can please) • Pokédex having every pokemon • Have “Change Version” feature as it’s own seperate function or as a sorting system only in the Pokédex • Can’t look at move, item, ability informations when editing a pokemon in build Slight Advise I believe studying other Pokédex apps may help you improve your app I hope this review helps improves your app.Version: 3.2.0

Good Pokédex, until Legends Arceus came out…This was an amazing app until you made LITERALLY EVERYTHING LEGENDS ARCEUS! Pokédex? Legends Arceus. Moves? Legends Arceus. Abilities? They don’t even exist anymore. Oh yeah! Im able to switch back to normal… If i pay money! Why?.Version: 7.0

Don’t really like itThe reason why it’s don’t really like it is because it doesn’t show you all the Pokémon and I’ve been in love with Pokémon my whole life. If your a fan of Pokémon you should know bulbasaur comes before charmander so pls pls pls fix your app🙏🏻. And all of the reasons go for all of the generations 1 through 9 and all of the Pokémon in all of the generations pls pls pls..Version: 16.3

Electrode - VoltrobElectode and voltrob are missing in the pokedex....Version: 3.3.6
