How HeartRate Works
HeartRate measures your heart rate by analysing the colour changes in blood flow from the tip of your finger.
- Place the tip of your index finger on the iPhone’s camera
- Wait for a couple of seconds
- Your pulse is shown in real-time, similar to pulse oximeters used in hospitals.

The payment will be charged to your iTunes Account within 24 hours prior to the end of the free trial period - if applicable - or at the confirmation of your purchase. Price may vary depending on the region or country.
Your subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24-hours before the end of the current period. You can cancel auto-renewal at any time, but this won't affect the currently active subscription period.
Your iTunes Account will be charged for renewal within 24-hours prior to the end of the current period, and identify the cost of the renewal.
Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited if you purchase a subscription to that publication where applicable.

The metrics collected from the app (your heart rates) are securely stored internally on your own device, giving you, and only you, secure access to them, any time, anywhere.
