✓ News not videosI’ve been using the new app since the old one was discontinued. I had quit using 40/29’s app because I couldn’t read a story. Now KFSM is doing the same. More video and less news. I waited to see if it was just new but it appears it is the new norm for a former news source. Now it’s entertainment. I can’t always listen to a story but I am able to read. ✓ Killed my weather app5 news weather has been my go to weather app for years. The hourly forecasts are important to me as well as the radar maps. This new all in one app makes me go thru video after video or has a 5 day forecast that is the one they show onscreen during the news. ✓ The weather portion of this app needs to beSeriously rethought. You had one of the best weather apps for local weather, and it’s discontinued. Now this is what’s supposed to replace it? Tiny icons, no rain percentages from a daily outlook except for one day at a time. The app keeps freezing and I have to uninstall and reinstall. Not to mention the ads. ✓ Bring back weather app5 news will always be our favorite go to for local news, but I don’t like the weather app being discontinued! The radar on the new app has plenty of flaws that I won’t list here, it will be extremely frustrating to those who aren’t tech savvy or just want to check the radar. The radar on the weather app was great and very user friendly! I evened used it while my husband was working in the Florida Keys and it was extremely accurate! ✓ App was good, video ads break the user experienceApp is good to provide local news and weather in NW Arkansas. However, the ads are more invasive than ever! Today, an ad for a local cable company keeps popping up the same video every couple of seconds, looping until you close it. This makes the app almost unusable when reading news stories. Sometimes the videos stack on top of each other! Offloading the app today, maybe I’ll check back in a few months. Also wouldn’t hurt to remove some of the data tracking..JburgmeVersion: 43.7.16

✓ During Weather WarningsDuring actual thunderstorm and tornado warnings you need to remove advertisement videos. If seconds count during an active tornado then this should be a major safety issue for the people who depend on this app. Thank you.Acamp333Version: 44.2.3

✓ AdsI love the app, i always used this app to check on the news, but all of a sudden there’s these Cox ads that constantly pop up. and when i say constantly i mean every 5 seconds. i literally can’t do anything or read anything fully because of this freakin Cox ad that pops up. i started going over to the 40/29 app because of this.Mariahh50681Version: 43.6.35

✓ Always on privacy concernsI deleted the app when a notification popped up that said they would always have location services on no matter if the app was closed or I turned off locations services in apple settings. ✓ DisappointedI am so disappointed with the new app. I have all the news notifications turned off yet I’m still getting them. The weather map will not mark my location even though I have location “on when using app”. It will only work with the location on “always”. ✓ Terribly timed ads, annoying notificationsThe ads on this app are horrendous. There will be a tornado warning for my location and I’ll swipe on it to see live coverage, and there will be an unskippable, lengthy ad for Toyota or CRAAAIN HYUNDAI. Ads are great but they could be halted during times of peril. ✓ Adds videos and glitches.The app keeps getting worse and worse. All I want is to read over news articles. It’s impossible to keep up with the news in their app anymore. Click on a story to read and it’s an instant video add and video you have to watch you can’t just read a news article. If I wanted to watch the news and adds I’d go home and watch tv instead. ✓ It’s fineOn one hand, it’s local news and I appreciate that. One the other, I notice that you other are adopting more of a liberal bias. Now, it’s 100% okay to be biased, one way or the other, as long as you don’t claim to be objective. That’s just trying to condition people and everyone can tell. Now, If you all have said that you’re a liberal news station, please tell me where. If you haven’t said you’re a liberal news station, you need to. So my point is here: don’t try to force your opinion on people, or if you’re going to be liberally-biased, let people know.
