✓ TerribleThis game is bad for children with bad handwriting when you write 7 you have to do a line through it. Maybe you could have a chose I’d write yourself or using a key board. It’s very easy for 7+ and it’s hard to complete one level easily when you write a number the way you normally write it and it says it’s wrong, you should have several lives so if you get one wrong it takes a heart away. ✓ Good idea ruinedThe handwriting recognition is not fit for purpose. It should at the very least have an option for calibrating where you input examples of your writing style to allow it to compensate. You could also add an option for enabling number pad entry. ✓ Appalling number recognition- avoidGot this for my 6 year old (left handed). His handwriting is not bad but this app is terrible at recognising his hand writing. It particularly struggles with 6 and 9. As you can imagine it infuriates him when he gets it right but it tells him it’s wrong! Tantrum inducing and badly designed. Stay away.TorKjolVersion: 1.0.2

✓ Horrible text recognitionHorrible text recognition even on simple numbers like 9, not a chance to at least retype or type and confirm instead of automatically accepting input when the recognition is bad. Not sure, as many said, why not allowing a keyboard input or make the engine better / learn. Even a built in numeric keypad like some other similar apps. ✓ Not for younger kidsEvery time my 5-year-old tried to input the number 9, the app did not accept it, resulting in stopping the game. We tried it a few different ways, we made sure he was staying in lines but the game still was not accepting it. Also, the game is supposed to teach them to count but the time bar running out in a few seconds does not facilitate beginner counters. ✓ Hit and missThe handwriting recognition works well most of the time but will randomly fail for no apparent reason which is frustrating if your child got the right answer and traced the number correctly with their finger. This happened even with fairly unambiguous figures like 1 & 3 which visually looked correct but the game rejected the answer as being wrong..EutropianVersion: 1.1
