✓ They worked great….until they didn’t.First few times connecting they worked great. Now I have to delete then re-download the app, take them out to power them down then restart them. Then, only one or the other works but not both. When they work, eventually, they’re awesome. Great noise cancelling and with the adjustable ambient noise feature it really blocks out what you don’t want. Tried using them biking, but the mic picks up the wind and makes it impossible to hear anything else when the “pass through” feature is activated so I ended up turning off the ambient volume which is kind of dangerous when you’re riding on the road. The buds are great for hearing pro but if you want the added connectivity then the app becomes a liability. Fixing the app will get a five star rating..Version: 5.1.5
✓ And now they’re junkHad Razor 3.0 for a couple of years. Worked fine with my iPhone 11 Pro. Not as advertised but they worked. Got a 13pro and can no longer connect. The app just tells me to do some basic troubleshooting steps and now they’re junk. No pairing mode no nothing..Version: 4.0
✓ The earbuds are great, the app is cr**!The app is pointless. The earbuds will not connect to the app even after following the prompts on the directions on troubleshooting. The earbuds will connect to my phone with no problem. I can receive calls, listen to music and converse with others while at the range. So no problem there. ✓ Junk.Works once and then you have to uninstall reinstall. Bluetooth is connected but app just spins its wheel waiting to connect. The couple times it did connect it worked well. If it doesn’t work on a regular basis it’s junk. Walker doesn’t even have the updated manual for the product on their website. I guess they just don’t care..Version: 4.0.1

✓ Not connectingI had to download the new app when I upgraded my phone. It had been working perfectly before. It will not connect with the new app even though it says it’s connected in the phone BT menu. The headphones say pairing but never say connected. I took all the steps recommended by the app to connect and still no luck. Super upset because I used to use these all the time..Version: 4.0.1
✓ Not total garbage.The app connects to silencer 2.0 so that’s a win. But the battery level it totally wrong. That’s a fail Also the volume level is incorrect. But I can easily change the audio mode. ✓ Walkers quality is not worth the cost.I loved my Silencer BT when I got them. Allowed me to choose between hunting (active listening) and range time (playing music while I shot). ✓ Raptor bone conductorEars buds perform great! App and customer service are useless. Unable to turn off automatic shutoff even though there is an option in the app. Will auto shut off in the middle of a phone call or while listening. Emailed customer service three times, there is no phone number provided, apparently because the isn’t such an office. If you can put up with that, they are comfortable and sound good..Version: 5.1.5
✓ I I hate this dang app.The app is useless. When trying to connect, the symbol just keeps going in a circle l. Then, a quick flash of words appear and disappears just as fast. When I was able to get anything to work, I happened upon settings. I touched it to see if I could adjust anything, and what I got had nothing to do with any kind of setting. I got share Walkers app, terms of use, and privacy policy. I’m frustrated. get it headphones to work either. There’s only sound in one ear. It also will not allow me to answer the phone on it. ✓ I’m connected, app says I’m not.Old version was touch and go, but it worked a lot better than this new app. The menu is very rigid, as it won’t let me access the earbud interface because it thinks I’m not connected. It would be nice to have a refresh button or something like that. All that said, these earbuds allow me to hear very subtle sounds at great distances. Hunting is a blast with these. I can hear chickadees happing along branches, and much more. The first time using these, I could hear a pack of coyotes way back in the woods; the buds allowed me to listen to their smallest little vocalizations.Version: 3.1

I have to turn my phone off and back on for the app to work. ✓ Same as the rest…The Silencer 2.0’s work and connect to the iPhone, but the app doesn’t connect, ever; just the “connecting” spinning wheel in the center screen without ever connecting. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling. Tried shutting the app down and restarting. Restarting the phone… all a waste of time. This app is absolutely useless. ✓ Terrible app. Worthless ear buds.These are some of the worst ear protection I’ve ever used. They constantly lose connection with the device. they constantly have trouble connecting to the device. You have to uninstall and reinstall the app multiple times. If you are more than 2 feet from your phone, it will lose connection. For $250. I expected much better in a Bluetooth hearing protection earbud. Walkers is no help at all with their customer service, and you are basically on your own..Version: 5.2.2
✓ This app has serious deficiencies.I want the Walker Silencer BT 2.0 to amplify the normal conversations around me when shooting, but to cancel the sound when a gun is fired. This app makes the plug totally silent OR BLASTS MUSIC that the app randomly chooses. Completely distracting when trying to shoot in competitions. I wish I’d bought another brand. ✓ Disappointed1st review I’ve ever written. That’s how dissatisfied I am. The app will not connect to the BT silencer 2.0 but my phone does flawlessly. I cannot experience the full features of the headphones. I have gone through all the steps many times (reinstalling app, power off phone/headphones). ✓ Great buds, atrocious appThe Walker’s Silencer 2.0 buds are fantastic in most aspects. Using them for hearing enhancement(2 setting) and listening to music at medium volume they lasted 5 hrs straight, so not bad. Only complaint about the buds is that you can use the left alone if you want to, but not the right. It’s either left or both. Now, the app is a different story. If the app was even decent I wouldn’t be considering sending them back(still on the fence). Of the 100 times ive opened, closed, deleted and reinstalled the app it always says the buds are at 17% battery life. I know the buds are charging to higher than 17 if they last 5 hours utilizing all features. Also, anytime you swipe away from the app to do something else and go back the app will not connect so you have to close and reopen, then wait 20-30 seconds plus for it to connect so you can control the earbuds. Also, no way to turn hearing enhancement on/off without using the app so you do need the app to use the buds..Version: 5.1.5
✓ Aggravating!The earbuds connect to my phone every time. How ever the app shows they are not connected most of the time. When the app does show it is connected, it loses connection and constantly says “Silencer Link Lost”. This is EXTREMELY aggravating as it will continue to say it over and over at a volume that is way too loud! Another glitch is when the earbuds are connected, each earbud is at a different volume. I keep both set at 2 but somehow they are different every time I turn them on. VERY DISAPPOINTING! This needs to be fixed ASAP. Unfortunately this happens whether I open the app or not. As for the earbuds them selves, they do work great hunting. They provide ample sound enhancement and provide great hearing protection when you fire your rifle. ✓ Needs ImprovingThe 2.0 BT constantly drops connection even when my phone is on my person. The lowest sound amplifier setting must be for someone who is near totally deaf. It’s like having your ear buds in at 3/4 volume. This makes wind noise unbearable, and close proximity conversation very aggravating. Great for calm days, and solo shooting..Version: 5.2.4
✓ No response from walkersJust downloaded the new app and deleted the old. Big mistake. The old app was not great, but at least it worked. My Silencer BT earbuds will connect to the phone, but the app does not recognize them. I keep getting the page that says if your device won’t connect do these things. I tried all of them and still no joy. I can’t get into the functionally of the app because I can’t get past that page. ✓ No problems with my connection but…Many reviews show a frustration in the app. Mine worked out of the box. Paired Bluetooth then launched the app and it all worked. but… The app can be improved! So these things are touch activated. Have a setup demo in the app that prompts the end user to test each button. Or put the manual in the app. After a day I forgot what side did what function. ✓ App has connectivity issuesI’ll change my rating to 5 star once they fix the connectivity issues. I constantly have to force close and re-open the app to get the headphones to show up in the app. They stay connected to the phone, just won’t show in app. It’s also very annoying that they constantly revert back to un-linked when changing the ambient noise level. I want both at the same time to always adjust at the same time. I do not want to adjust each one separate. I don't see the need for separate. ✓ Minus 5 starsReceived an email of the wonderful app that works with all walker devices. Downloaded twice per directions if it didn’t work. Have Walker Xcell muffs purchased this summer for use while mowing. Sat on hold for 45 minutes only to find our “oh sorry it doesn’t work with those” so much for working across all devices. Need to improve app so it does work across all your Bluetooth devices or don’t send out emails that supply false information..Version: 3.0

✓ App use to work reliablyApp use to work as designed with my walker xv 3.0’s until I got a new iPhone 14pro. Now even though the device pairs and connects the app is useless and it just shows connecting and spinning… without the app open I can’t change settings on the device for different modes, only volume.
