How can I install NLTK on this appA wonderful app. But I wonder how can I install nltk on it.Version: 1.2.6

Amazing!I was working on my own code editor for iPad until I found this but this smashes everything else out the water. It has a few bugs, but nothing major, and provides so much great functionality and has so much potential. Definitely one to keep an eye on!.Version: 1.2.1

Node modulesHi great app, how do you add nodes modules?.Version: 1.2.6

A few things to say about your app1. Can you guys add a package manager or something else to add utilities? I found it a way to use shell on iPad though. 2. Can you add support to jupyter notebook and markdown?.Version: 1.3.5

Unbelievable. One of the best feelings to finally find such a great code compiler on mobile devices. Often I am without my computer which makes it horrible to code on IOS, using online text editors or simply just using the notes app. However, this just changed the whole experience, it creates much more power on the mobile devices. Really appreciate the amazing work..Version: 1.2.3

Very handy and convenient appUnlike many failed attempts to get a VSCode-like environment working well on iOS, this one succeeds wildly well..Version: 1.3.3

Perfect AppThis is literally the best solution to my issues with ide’s and editors on ipados, really great job.Version: 1.2.7

It’s a good app!I like this app. However, on iPadOS, I seem to be stuck on light mode. Do you have anyway to turn the GUI to dark mode? Thank you!.Version: 1.1.0

Very good,Been waiting forever for MS to create an iPad version of this app, but this does exactly what I need. Would be nice to get some other simple formats like Markdown included. But other than that, this is great..Version: 1.0.3

Really goodTotally underrated app that is so good for trying out ideas on the go. You can also use with GitHub so you can either clone or create repositories which is amazing so you could write something while you are out push it to GitHub and access it on any computer. Though you can also directly access folders on your Mac if your phone is linked up with it. The only issue I have found is that although the app is running Python on 3.7 I still find I get an error when trying to run code that uses the input() function.Version: 1.1.9

As close to VS code as you can get so farSo far so good. Some minor inconveniences, like in HTML adding a new line does indent properly with the rest of the indentations, but that’s very minor and easily fixable manually. Documentation is lacking, there’s no tutorials on how to get GitHub repos working in this app, but the support seems to be there for it. Otherwise though, it’s a really good app and as close to VS code you can currently get on iPad without running it virtually, and has some handy auto completion which can save time and save me having to remember whether i use href or src xD Hopefully in future we see more features and better documentation of the feature available..Version: 1.3.4

The best VSCode on iPadOSI would like to pay extra $100 if the crash issues are solved..Version: 1.3.4

QuestionCan any one tell me how to import module for python on it, how to use pip install?.Version: 1.3.4

GreatGreat when you know what you are doing.Version: 1.3.3

Amazing! THE best coding app ever! This app is amazing, it has everything you would ever need to program on iOS. One thing I would love is more local compilers/interpreters, specifically a Ruby interpreter. Thanks!.Version: 1.2.5

Remote Connection Crashes App - EditWhen trying to connect to a remote it always crashes the app. Trying to connect so i can run the terminal commands on the remote machine. Edit: The app is working great and love the fast turn around from the Developer..Version: 1.4.3

Love itThis is just what I was looking for! Something that I can use to edit and test small projects.Version: 1.2.6

One of the BestThis app comes in as a close contender to Textastic which is another code editor I used. But in like that app this one has a better code compiler and favours vs codes for desktop with its UI. There isn’t much in customizing compare to its counter part. But what is there is enough to get the job done. Over all it’s a great editor and a must have.Version: 1.5.1

#1 code app on IPadInitially set 1/5 for unresponsive physical keyboard. Seeing they’re onto it, giving 5 stars as no other complaints. Using it to lean Python..Version: 1.3.6

Simply the best around right now.Not a perfect clone, but this app does exactly what I have been looking for. Provides a polished way of connecting over ssh to a remote machine, with a clean UI, standard terminal, and simple yet effective text editor. Gets 5 stars easily but the ability to use a proxy server (ie jump box), or .ssh/config file would be great to see!.Version: 1.5.1

Very VERY good however……Please add VASM assembly support it would be really nice to have I mean with everything you’ve added it shouldn’t be that hard so please add VASM support VASM is more for MPU’s like the 6502, by the way..Version: 1.2.9

Super underratedHey, I just wanted to say that this is a great lightweight editor, and I’m so surprised that more people haven’t jumped in and noticed this app. This is a solid 5/5 for me and an amazing work from you.Version: 1.0.5

Running locally on iPad is so good!I was using VS code remotely on iPad for some time and every time i minimise vs code i had to wait for it to reload extensive amounts of time! Even when i was just bringing two windows together for multitasking. This was why i decided do give your app a go. This code editor, being local on the iPad is fast and responsive. I like the UI, it’s clean. Money well spent! I’m excited to see how the app grows in time. Are you guys planning to let users add more languages? Extensions? :) Do you guys have any social pages? Thanks devs!.Version: 1.3.3

Create-react-appI like it so far but every time i try to create-react-app, it runs into errors..Version: 1.2.12

Clone RepoI have no idea how cloning works, after showing Welcome page and clicking Clone a repository… What it show me is Source control. Man, I not going to commit, I want to clone a repo. I don’t know how it rated as top and let my pay for lie action. To be honest I cold clone repo once, but I have no clue to figure it out..Version: 1.3.6

Scanf issuesScanf issues.Version: 1.5.0

Add support for SolidityPlease consider adding compiler support for solidity and rust programming language..Version: 1.2.2

Simply the best code editor on iOSThis code editor is brilliant, easy to use and user friendly UI.Version: 1.2.3

This is pretty goodThis is pretty good, although I wish that I could run my programs, especially in java, with a hockey, like CMD+Enter.Version: 1.2.3

Fantastic! The ssh works seamlessly. Could you also add ssh jump support?.Version: 1.5.1

Great app! This app is solid using on iPad Pro 12.9 alongside ish app.Version: 1.1.9

Brilliant app ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️I struggle to do coding on the computer since I have 2 younger children. I watched a YouTube tutorial on how I can possibly download something on my iPad to do my coding. Code app was recommended and I installed it straight away after paying the one time payment which was a small amount. Wow, it’s brilliant and now set up on my IPad mini 6!! This makes my life so much easier and I can do my coding whenever. I just bought the iPad keyboard and I can’t wait to really get into my coding journey. Thank you code app for making this happen. I never thought I’d be able to learn for a few years since I was only limited to PC / Laptop. Of course this is also perfect for those on the go. If you work away or travel a lot then you can buy a iPad which is compact. Very happy. I’m still learning ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.Version: 1.4.4

No Select allStill having this issue I can’t select all of my scripts and delete them all and have to use backspace to delete one by one which is frustrating. Hope developers address this issue in the next update..Version: 1.4.4

Finally a VSCode clone that runs localIt might not be perfect but it’s leaps and bounds better than anything else I’ve used on the iPad. Thanks for finally bringing this to the platform..Version: 1.3.3

HelloWow This app is useful for coders which do not have laptops and have only iPad.Version: 1.0.6

Solidity Syntax Highlighting/CompilerPlease add solidity syntax highlighting and compiler. Also, the vscode intellisense autocomplete would really make coding easier and faster with this app. I really hope to see these features including in upcoming updates. For now, I’ll rate it 4 stars..Version: 1.2.4

Works nicely on 1st gen iPad ProWorking fine so far. Only tested with comments and a push to GitHub and after some setting up it worked perfectly. I can see myself using this for getting some of the busy work done on the go, commenting, general housekeeping etc, not sure I’ll sell my computer just yet. I’m yet to explore virtual envs on iPad so don’t know of the capability for full on Django work but it’s good enough for me to keep the boring stuff from building up while in the move..Version: 1.4.3

Amazing port of VSCodeCan’t complain although Java support would be great..Version: 1.4.2

SuperbThis app is fantastic. I was after something to make little code changes on my phone or iPad but this actually is so easy I've been able to make significant changes! It hooks into GitHub great but I found that it didn't connect to Azure DevOps, submitted an issue and it was fixed around a week later, got to test it and should be in the next release! I was really impressed at the speed of the fix and it works great. I can even run python apps and then navigate to http://127.0.0.1:5000 on my iPad to access! Genuinely brilliant app!.Version: 1.2.3

AWS Architect’s DreamI can now do everything I need to do for my job on an iPad. This app was the last arrow I needed for my quiver. Who doesn’t want to be able to do cloud formation deployments straight from their iPad?.Version: 1.2.1

WhyThe text disappeared.Version: 1.0.5

Editor not readyOne of the best editor, but quite often it says editor not ready after opening the editor. This is really annoying..Version: 1.5.0

Great but buttons on side navigation dont work when using external screenGreat but buttons on side navigation dont work when using external screen. If you move the app back to the iPad all the nav works after..Version: 1.4.3

Love this brilliant version of code on the iPadWow this is great - I’ve just started some php , html, python on the app and it’s very good. Makes debugging easy and runs straight from the app. Great job, thank you.Version: 1.2.13

I love your app but...I’m literally in love with your app But the input() of python seems broken... Can you please fix that ?.Version: 1.1.9

Developer Help is AMAZING!Thanks for your help! That worked!.Version: 1.1.8

Great app!Wow, great app, can’t believe you’re the same age as I am. I wonder if there’s functionalities out there to push and pull to Github servers for code maintainability across various devices?.Version: 1.0.5

Great AppThis is a great app for quick development..Version: 1.4.3

The best IDE on the appstoreI use this for most programming, since I can run common programming languages, install libraries, so on and so forth. It's a little bit glitch at times, but generally, this is the best IDE you can find on the appstore. If you're wanting to run some more exotic programming languages or even just Java, you'll have to do it somewhere else, but if you want to run Python, C, JS, etc, this works great for that. The only thing is, it doesn't support Swift even though it's open source last time I remembered, just SwiftUI isn't. In general, if you're wanting to program on your iPad or iPhone, this is the app for you; you can run everything from simple programs to AI, the terminal has some basic functions like ping, and the UI is basically the exact same as VSCode, so it'll be pretty easy to get used to if you're a user of VSCode. - PF.Version: 1.4.3

All good!First few hours of using, like it till now.Version: 1.1.4

Excellent AppSince ~2013, I’ve used an iPad to develop on-the-go and in classrooms, and I’ve always been disappointed by the weak dev tools that were supported on the App Store. With this app supporting many of the VSCode shortcuts (specifically multicursor support), I’ve been quite impressed. The only thing I wish could be added is support for some of the instructions from the VSCode MetaGo / MetaJump extensions, Namely bookmarks & the search and jump functionality it supports..Version: 1.2.6

A great idea, but needs some workI'll give it 5 stars for now, but it does need a lot of new features/improvements to make it ready to replace what I currently use (replit)..Version: 1.3.6

Dream Come TrueThis is a tool that I have been looking for the past couple years after coming across Pythonista. The language support and similarity to my desktop setup is very nice! It makes it easy to work on the go and just play around with projects. Either way, if you’re looking for a Text Editor similar to VSCode for your iPad and this is the solution. I wonder if plugin support will ever come? That’d be killer! Thank you and keep up the support!.Version: 1.2.6

Good but would like to see one drive integrationThe app itself has been great for editing code, however, all my code is on one drive and I cannot access my one drive account through the app. Hopefully they add support soon..Version: 1.3.6
