✓ AwfulThis is literally useless unless you pay for the premium version. I would be perfectly content to view ads and be able to use the app but that’s not an option. ✓ Some good controls … but networking?The App gives access to some useful controls - e.g. subtitles and service provider apps. The standard remote buries many of the basic features and pushes their advertising ahead of basic functionality. But the biggest problem by far is the network connection. ✓ No microphone buttonI used the free trial for three days to give me full access to the remote and try it out properly. Two big negatives for me are no microphone button which is a feature of my 2021 WebOS LG TVs which means you can’t use voice commands to do a search, Control functions on the TV or control smart home devices from the remote. The second BIG NEGATIVE for me is that the remote doesn’t store the TVs once it’s discovered them which means you have to find a PHYSICAL REMOTE to turn the TV on first before you can start controlling it from this remote. It’s really annoying if you’ve got yourself all settled in bed, attempt to turn the TV on and then realise you have to get out of bed and go and find the actual remote before you can start using this remote Stupid really.
