Beautiful widgets for home screen, lock screen, and StandBy show much more detail than other weather apps, all while still being easy to read.

Use the interactive map to see forecasts for any location in the world — including mountains, trails, lakes, and literally anywhere you place a marker.

Extreme weather warnings are shown directly on the forecast timeline, so you can see exactly when the danger is expected — including storms, fires, hurricanes, flooding, landslides, and everything else tracked by NOAA meteorologists.

We take privacy seriously with NO ads, NO tracking, and NO third-party analytics. Weather Strip only stores location data on your local device, and it always uses approximate locations when requesting weather forecasts.

Weather Strip also respects your data plan, with optional background app refresh that automatically learns your habits, and the ability to view your recent forecasts even when your connection drops.

Weather Strip is completely free to try for two weeks. After that, a minimal subscription price helps us keep the service running. (Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled within 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can turn off auto-renewal at any time by going to your Account Settings on the App Store after purchase.)

Not all features are available in all locations. Forecasts are issued by Foreca globally and by the U.S. National Weather Service (NOAA NWS) in the United States. Forecasts usually span 168 hours (7 days) but can occasionally be longer or shorter.

✓ Only app with cloud cover infoI love this app. I’m a visual person so seeing everything laid out visually is perfect for me. Living in the Pacific Northwest I also really appreciate knowing exactly how much cloud cover or sun there will be on a given day at various times throughout the day. ✓ Excellent idea but…Great visualization of weather and excellent way to choose location for micro-weather reports. Subscription is a new understood way of generating income, and this app offers 30 days free. My only complaint/ suggestion is tell me what the subscription cost will be UPFRONT. ✗ Beat concept, bummer execution.This app is one I have dreamt about for many years. As a meteorological enthusiast, I tend to like some of the raw data that the National Weather Service and the NOAA provide. Are use their charts and graphs on my computer regularly. But I’ve always been frustrated at trying to use that on a mobile device. In fact, I wanted this app so bad I asked some friends of mine who are software coding brainiacs whether or not we could build this exact app ourselves even if only for our own personal uses. Needless to say, I am a fan of this concept. However, only after downloading the app have I realized that I can’t choose the data being displayed. The Dew Point data set being the most important to me. This could easily be down to operator error. If it comes down to that, I will instantly change my rating to 5! I’m hopeful that the functionality of being able to choose what data is displayed will be added soon if it’s not already a feature..SquatooVersion: 1.0

✗ Pretty inaccurateI’ve wrote a review before noting that I was getting rained on by heavy rain and the app didn’t change status at all and I’ve been completely dry and hot outside with the app telling me 65% rain and heavy rain. I like the look and flow of the app but ultimately I can’t use this on its own or rely on it for accurate, right now, weather. I have now passed my free trial and can’t even hang around to see if it gets better. Although cheap, I can’t allow myself another in app purchase for something that I can’t say actually brings me any value..AdamWillisVersion: 1.1.1
