BACKSTORY:

SPECIAL INVESTIGATOR TASK FORCE

Reports are coming in that communication to Camp Enigma has ceased as of 14th August 1800 hours.

Investigators are being primed and readied for transport to the island. Due to your expert knowledge of investigating complex military base locations, you have been chosen to be first on the scene.

You are required to travel to Camp Enigma, which comprises of three main areas. Once on the island make your way via the island storage facility to the underground military training bunker. After investigating these areas make your way via secure elevator to the main radio communication tower where you will reestablish communication to the mainland.

The mission should be routine and your report is expected within the next few days.

ABOUT

Mystery Of Camp Enigma is a first person point and click graphic puzzle adventure, similar to games you may have played in the ’90’s or similar to a virtual escape rooms you may have played. A simple gameplay interface consisting of the world that you explore and an inventory panel where you can collect, combine and use items you find along the way to solve puzzles.

Explore areas, collect hidden objects and take in your surroundings. You will need all of your puzzle solving skills to put together a plan to make your way through, solving riddles and down the many paths.

How you tackle the puzzles is down to you. Each puzzle has a logical solution, so take your time, there is no rush and enjoy the process of understanding what you have to do.

✓ Old school point and clickEnjoyed the realistic scenery, exploring and simple puzzles. But finding my way around was a bit more difficult than it needed to be. Some paths/directions were just not obvious. So there was a lot of tapping to find hidden areas (like the power box in the last chapter...ugh). Some directional arrows would’ve made it much better. Most of the puzzles were finding codes to unlock areas. Codes were pretty easy to find and/or to figure out. Overall, it was a good game. I liked that the developer gave the option to watch ads instead of paying. Def worth a try for the Point and click fans out there. To dev: my rope disappeared after attacking it. Luckily it was back on scene after restarting the app. Also, never got the chance to enter in the 5 digit code near the laser grid...was able to finish the game without it. Not sure if that’s a glitch Thanks!.Ally555Version: 1.0

✓ Great gameThoroughly enjoyed this puzzle, it’s atmospheric , challenging and fun. Well worth the 99p. One star lost because several puzzles which needed a specific sequence of characters - with multiple potential answers - don’t reset. So when I press the keys to see what happens, it’ll take that as the start of a sequence. Once I’ve wandered around and returned to the puzzle, I type in potentially the correct sequence but the object with which I’m interacting has retained the originally pressed keys, so I’m not at the beginning of the sequence. But the object doesn’t tell me that, so I press the correct sequence and variations thereof, get annoyed and leave the app! If each object would just reset its sequence to the start when you click away and come back, the problem would be solved. ✗ Game cannot be savedThis looks like it would’ve been good but every time you shut the app down it goes straight back to the beginning. There is no way to return to any kind of options menu to save your game and there is no autosave! How absolutely ridiculous for a game to come on the App Store in this state! The developer says to push the continue button but what use is the continue button when you can’t save the game and when you reopen it it starts you at the beginning again!.FennburtoVersion: 1.0

✗ PainfulCan only review on the first 3 minutes of the game as I’m stuck. The key I got from the safe magically disappeared after I got it while on my way to the truck. Wow. Then attempted to restart the game. As I was only 3 minutes into it. However after leaving the office it took me the place I was stuck at. What a waist of my life..Krist12101Version: 1.1.1
