Kanji Book for Positive User Reviews

Halfway there!I’m at approx 1000 Kanji and this app legitimately is helping me reach my goal of learning how to read Japanese! It started asking me about on' and kun'yomi and I’m not sure if that will be helpful to me but I’m willing to give it a shot! While I’m no where read fluent, this app and a little bit of word and grammar knowledge have gotten me this far. My only gripe are the bugs where the screen stays stuck on the opening screen or when other things glitch out but you seem aware and attentive of them. Thank you, this has been a major help!.Version: 1.36

Day 1 and i already like it!I’m still learning japanese. my memory span only captured a few kanji…vaguely. i can recognize all hiragana and kana but kanji hurts my soul. this app helps a lot with polishing my strokes and memorizing the right stroke order. thank you for this.Version: 1.37

Impressive!!Ive been looking for some time for a good kanji app, and Ive finally found it! Totally recommend to any person trying to learn Japanese, it allows you to go on at your own pace and even gives you things like stroke order and compound words! Its also free!! いちばんですよ!!☆.Version: 1.35

Simple and easy to useThis app is really nice, it's easy to navigate and I love how it guides you through writing the correct stroke order for each kanji and also gives you the furigana reading along with the definition. The quizzes are a mix of multiple choice, definitions, and writing the kanji, which is great since it reinforces recall and not just recognition. My only complaint is I wish that there were furigana readings given for the compound kanji..Version: 1.35

Surprisingly funSatisfying and fun way to learn kanji..Version: 1.1

Feature request…I love how straightforward this app is…but s couple more features would take it to another level: 1) Regarding the stroke hints, if a kanji has a radical that’s been previously taught, give that radical/kanji as a hint. Even native Japanese speakers learn kanji based on component radicals. 2) The ability to edit my list and add kanji learned outside the app. I’ve learned so many new kanji since starting to use this app and it’d be cool to see that reflected..Version: 1.37

Helpful! This is another helpful aid in learning kanji. I particularly like drawing the kanji!.Version: 1.36

Best app for learning kanji!I’m beyond grateful for this resource. It’s been helping me to remember kanji, and also to write it..Version: 1.37

Pretty coolI don’t come across completely free kanji apps very often, so when I came across this app I was surprised. I downloaded this app about 30 minutes ago so I don’t have too much experience with it yet, but so far I like it very much. I like that I can pick out all of the kanji I know already. My only suggestion would be maybe to add the radicals? I learn kanji best by breaking them into their components(radicals)instead of learning the stroke order. (For example, Instead of learning the 10 stokes that go into “音”, I learned that the kanji for stand, 立, and day, 日, can combine to make 音, which has helped me remember it better than individual strokes. Again, just a suggestion.) This is a great app nonetheless, I’m very happy I stumbled across it!! 😎.Version: 1.37

Great, engaging, educational!Super fun, clear, simple, and you can learn at your own pace. A few small things I don’t like: no choice between kun or on, no audio pronounciation, and no information on radicals. But very enjoyable..Version: 1.37

One of the best kanji learning appIt’s simple, it’s fun, it just works and it’s free! Highly recommended to everyone studying japanese.Version: 1.35

Fantastic!Great for learning and practicing Kanji! 5/5 would recommend to any fans and students of the Japanese written language..Version: 1.0

AmazingThis app is so well made I love it so much!!! I can repeat as many times as I want and it makes learning kanji really simple!.Version: 1.37

Best app for Kanji!! But I have a small requestI love this app, it is very good and provides stroke order, great simple tests, and has both on’yomi and kun’yomi written in hiragana(good practice)!! Nothing negative about this app. My only suggestion is that for compounds, we can have a way to see how to pronounce them. Trying to figure out to use on’yomi or kun’yomi is difficult since there are many exceptions to the general rule. Thank you for this great app, and for making it free! If there is anyway to donate and/or support it in anyway, let me know!.Version: 1.37

Fun Way to LearnI like that the test is done in a variety of styles. The length of the test is perfect for idle moments during the day. I like having the ability to add new Kanji when I’m ready..Version: 1.35

GreatThis app actually let me have time to practice each character and isn’t hard I really like it, my fav kanji app so far.Version: 1.37

This may be perfect!Forgive me for the unprofessional review, but this may be the best kanji learning app(for me personally)! No ads, I can practice writing, teaches the Kun and On, the meaning of the kanji, and the cherry on top is I can test myself! Whoever helped develop this, thank you for making kanji easier to learn!.Version: 1.37

Great appThis app is absolutely brilliant. It’s a great way to pace learning and although it’s repetitive it makes kanji easier to learn. Some of the kanji are difficult to understand because of the font, e.g. enter and person look odd and similar, and it sometimes glitches while writing but still awesome..Version: 1.35

Kanji AppI rate this a 100/10 because this app is free, yet it’s so interactive and perfect for all levels of Japanese learners. The only downside for me is that there isn’t any grammar lessons, but there’s always room for improvement. Thank you for whoever developed this app and keep going with this project, I love it..Version: 1.37

Great tool!A great tool for beginners!!.Version: 1.37

Kanji made fun and cute!I just started and already know about 300+ kanji going in. I love how it is self paced, no timers, you can revisit cards as often as you like (with cute incentives), and the program shows you the stroke order! My favorite little surprise was the compound words game where you can build your vocabulary and discover just how practical a pictographic text can be (no furigana given, but I have my jisho for that). I would have liked audio, but if you know your hiragana going into using this app, you are SET. Love this product! As a teacher of languages myself, I highly recommend it. Thank you for making and keeping it free!.Version: 1.37

Super efficient! This has helped me so much and has given me a lot of motivation! I really recommend it if you want a fast and efficient way of learning kanji!.Version: 1.37

Perfect for learning kanjiWow, what a fantastic app. Not sure why this isn't more popular. This is perfect for graduated learning of kanji. Great for using a few minutes at a time throughout the day. Like the app creator says, "use your phone as a tool, not a distraction.".Version: 1.35

Amazing AppIt’s a must have app. Its only downside is it doesn’t have drawing only test..Version: 1.35
