✓ Buyer beware of poor advertisingIt’s $9.95/month + the books you decide to keep. & if you’re like me & noticed this after the fact you placed an order, it is almost impossible to get a refund. ✓ Cute books - make it VERY difficult to cancelIt’s very hard for our family to return the books with both parents working and traveling for work. So although the books are cute, 5 books doesn’t equate to 40+ dollars for me. Also when you try to cancel your subscription the site forced you to go through a chat where there is no one on the other end…. Tried chatting multiple times with no response. ✓ Heartbreaking.I was SO excited seeing the ad for this. As it turns out, your subscription doesn’t cover any of the books. I had to look at the reviews after I already filled out the subscription & payment info before I realized my massive mistake. ✓ False Advertising$9.95? Free shipping? Not a chance. They don’t mention you also pay PER book once you decide what to keep until after you’ve given credit card info. They claim they beat competitor prices and I can guarantee that isn’t true. A $4 book online ends up being $15 or more if you decide to keep it with this scheme. ✓ BEWARE OF MISLEADING PRICE$10/ month does NOT cover the books inside. It only covers the curation and the shipping. You then pay for the books that you keep, and they are not cheap. ✓ ScamPretty messed up how they advertise their program. It takes you to the website and asks a couple of questions to “create” a personalized box for your child and it does not give you further information on how the subscription works. It takes you to your total of about $10 but they leave out the fact that this does not cover the books only the shipping. You pay for the books you end up keeping and send back the rest. I caught it after a few minutes of placing the order and reached out to customer service to cancel and make sure they didn’t ship out the box i LITERALLY just ordered and they will not refund or stop the order from shipping and I’ll have to send back the books once received. A complete joke. I’m waiting to hear back from their customer service as i am ready to dispute the charge. Update: someone on their customer service end reached out and offered me a refund at the end for the issue. While i appreciate them helping resolve this issue. They should definitely consider fixing their advertising and providing customers with less misleading information..JulesoconVersion: 1.18.0
