✓ Did they SELL my info?Update: Thank you for the quick reply. I am very happy to know you do not sell email or other info from your app users. Getting alternate email addresses for online accounts is an excellent idea and will be very helpful to see who is selling our info. Sorry for the confusion. I am changing my stars to 5 as I had no issues with the app itself. It is easy to use and info could be shared with family which is very convenient. 😊 Original post: At first glance I thought this app was a good one. Easy to use and even considered paying the monthly upgrade to hold my large video library. HOWEVER, much to my disappointment, I noticed that only two days after downloading this app that my inbox is now suddenly filled with new spam! This is the only new account I’ve made in many months. I had bought the Pro version of My Movies 3 and was disappointed that even though I followed the instructions and paid for My Movies 4, it reverted back to the 50 title limit. It’s as easy as scanning the barcode on the back of the disc case and you can scan multiple disc which is great for people adding to their collection. ✓ Best cataloguing app for moviesI started with the free version of this app and was able to enjoy its clean and easy layout. They have a massive database of all the titles you would expect and also you can add a custom title and artwork for anything that might be obscure or unheard of. I have since upgraded to the pro version as my collection of films grew to be a couple thousand and have never had any issues. Not only has it evolved in that time - offering more information, and customisation options - but so has at home viewing. Particularly as shows get moved around from one service to another more frequently now, or appear concurrently on a number of services. The free version is a good indicator of what you get; a pretty friendly UI with several different viewing formats, the ability to rearrange the layout, choose poster shots, backdrops and add filters. The developers actually listen to user feedback too, and implement suggestions for improved or expanded capabilities. This App is a 5 star app but I only gave it 4 because the film covers are not easy to upgrade, for example I recently got the Movie Vault collection on 4K, when I scanned Scarface it brings in a different cover art, then when I go and update the cover manually it says I need to get the front cover to certain size and won’t accept the version I want..Version: 4.09

I have close to 2000 movies and I was constantly buying duplicates without realizing it until I got home. I love the simplicity of adding movies, especially being able to scan the barcodes. I did purchase the upgraded versions for all the extras that you can get because they are absolutely wonderful to have. I love that I can print out a list of my movies, sort, my movies, add movies that I have only seen and don’t have a copy of, and you even Mark borrowed movies as went out. I’ve never had a problem with the app that always upgrading it and doing a fantastic job. I have purchased all the updates because it’s just a wonderful app to use. It really feels like a personal project for him which is nice to see. The periodic paid updates are good as you don’t always have to upgrade if you don’t want to. The latest updates in 4 pro are great especially the ability to show collections of movies and automatically setting old titles to use updated posters without having to re-add the movie. A few updates I would like to see is the ability to link movies to streaming services and to play them and also show movies in the main list that are available on those services. It would make choosing a movie from those available to me a much more immersive experience, even the possibility to buy digital versions of movies from links in the app like other apps can do, but otherwise excellent work..Version: 4.06
