✓ So disappointingI’ve come to expect a lot from Ramsey, and my expectations are usually met or exceeded. But this audio book app is for the birds. I purchased a Dr Deloney audio book 2 years ago and a George Kamel audio book this month. I’ve never been able to successfully download either one. So frustrating amd sad..IzzyJennVersion: 1.4.1

✓ Good books, terrible appThe books are good but it’s so frustrating to use. The app never remembers where you stopped listening and it refuses to download the file for local listening instead of streaming. ✓ Love the idea but needs some workI like that i get to have all the Ramsey audiobooks all in one place now with my Ramsey+ account. However, the playback speed only works for a minute or two and then goes back to original pace when the screen darkens or you move away from the app. For someone who listens to audiobooks regularly, I like playback speed to be a little faster through the whole book, not just for a minute or two..Silk21098Version: 1.3.3

✓ The books are great, but the app…?If I stop listening to a book for a long period like a day, the app will not easily go back to where I was in the book. It will usually just sit there and spin. I will have to go out of the book and come back in. Most of the time that won’t even work. I’ll have to quit the app and then come back in and fiddle with it some more. Basically it’s a chore to resume a book after not using it for a while. It’s not my wireless either. I can be looking at my router 6 feet away and it will still do it. ✓ App needs workFirst off, this is a review/feedback to make the app better, not to complain. Lampo Group customer service is top notch! After I had an issue getting my books on the app they were very responsive and even gave me another book to access! HOWEVER, I just started using it and I like to listen at least at 1.5 speed. When your phone goes in sleep mode or you move to notes or elsewhere on your phone it moves the regular speed. ✓ Bad App - Good BooksIs there an alternate to listen to these books without using this app? Some audiobooks will download. Other audiobooks will not download, they just keep “trying”. I’ve deleted the app several times, redownload it, logged in and still only certain books will download for offline listening. I contacted customer service with a detailed explanation which clearly wasn’t read by the agent who gave me a cut and past response on how to download the audiobooks. ✓ Such potential, poor executionI was excited when I found this app because all but the newest Ramsey audiobooks in this app are included in the Ramsey+ membership. Very disappointed in the quality of this app since it’s so inconsistent from high level of quality I’ve come to expect from the other Ramsey products. Books are sorted in no particular order. No options to sort by publish date, alpha, filter by author or guides like “start here.” The pages for each book do not have a back button. ✓ Do you like being able to pick up from where you left off?Then this app is not for you! I mean wowzer?!? I mean did Dave write the code himself?(im assuming he’s bad at technology cuz he’s a boomer, but hey if a octogenarian can be president there may be hope for Dave). It doesn’t save my spot. It lags like no other. I don’t know how it’s buffing if the book is literally downloaded on to my phone. I bought “building a non anxious life”, and ironically this app only gave me more anxiety! ✓ This app just doesn’t cut it yet……..It’s bad. The UI doesn’t make sense. The app is clunky. The playback speed doesn’t change without restarting the app. There’s no way to resume and check where you left off without going through the entire list of books and choosing “resume book” which might work or might start from the beginning. ✓ Clean app that lets you listen to booksUsing this app was a much easier experience than most other audio books I’ve purchased, but it feels a bit redundant. Why develop a new app when you could just offer a code to Audible to download the book? Speaking of downloading books, I have attempted to download Delony’s newest book and the download never completes. The icon just keeps spinning. I’ve quit the app and relaunched multiple times over both Wi-Fi and 5G. So, I probably won’t be able to listen to the book on the plane this morning like I had planned. ✓ Why did they make their own appI'm guessing the Ramsey team couldn't stand the fact that Audible or Apple Books or whoever else would stand to make a 5% cut off their audiobook sales so they made this mostly horrible app. It does download the books and it does play them, but it does not have any of the creature comforts that I've come to expect as someone who listens to audiobooks every other day. ✓ Nice app butThe app could really use some updating. Like another reviewer mentioned, I don’t see why the book bundles or solo books do not come with an Audible code. There are a limit to the number of apps we need on our devices. No matter how hard I tried, I could not get the app to synch across devices. I did look on the website for help. If I started the newest Delony book in the car, I could not easily switch to my iPad at home. I had to go to my phone, find the exact spot where I left off then fast forward till o found the same spot on my other device.
