AIP - Anti Inflammatory Diet for Negative User Reviews
✓ Exploitative dupeThis app has nothing to do with the AIP diet. The foods included are all over the map—many not even paleo, let alone AIP. I was really excited to access so many AIP recipes, but they're clearly exploiting a trend rather than actually trying to help people manage the tricky autoimmune protocol of paleo..Version: 1.0
✓ This is not an autoimmune dietI was very optimistic when I saw this app. I have autoimmune problems that cause severe eczema and I’ve been looking for a food plan and recipes that are easy, healthy and delicious. The app does many things right including meal planning, a link to creating an automatic shopping list and a place to store favorite recipes. Unfortunately, many of the recipes include nightshades, spices and other ingredients that trigger severe autoimmune/allergic reactions (like tomatoes & cayenne pepper)..Version: 1.0
✓ Not AIPThese recipes are unsafe for anyone with auto immune issues or inflammation..Version: 1.0
✓ They pick the recipes each day not you lolWhat more need I say. You can auto generate new selections for your meals but you can't go through a list and pick which recipes you want. I can't believe they charge for this 🤣🤣🤣..Version: 1.0
✓ Not AIPNot AIP compliant recipes..Version: 1.0
✓ Not an AIP dietVery disappointed with this app. Marked as AIP, but this is not AIP. Many inflammatory ingredients including spices and nightshades..Version: 1.0
✓ Not AIP RecipesA quick glance at these receipes and definitely not AIP compliant- night shades (white potatoes, tomatoes) and green beans… didn’t have to scroll too far to recognise that this APP definitely isn’t AIP..Version: 1.0
✓ Not AIPDefinitely not aip compliant.Version: 1.0
✓ NOT AIPI wish I would or read the reviews before I bought it. This is NOT AIP, total waste of money. I want a refund..Version: 1.0
✓ Not AIPGluten, wheat, cocoa etc in the recipes. Useless for AIP..Version: 1.0
✓ Ehh…I research all of the recipes. There were maybe a hundred? No wheee near the 10k they try and sell you. I also selected food allergies and it showed recipes containing the allergens. Now worth the time or money..Version: 1.0
✓ NOT AIPI did AIP in 2018 and felt the best I ever had in my life. It was also one of the most difficult things I’d ever done for my health, as I spent a ton of time researching, grocery shopping and testing recipes. I was hoping that this would streamline the process and make it less daunting (and perhaps less expensive), but it has done quite the opposite. AIP removes any potentially inflammatory foods, which includes legumes and grains. My first suggested breakfast was nuts. Second day was oatmeal. Almost every meal had fruit. This is not AIP..Version: 1.0
✓ Not AIP CompliantI was so excited to find this app, based on it's title! Completely misleading. THIS IS NOT an AIP-compliant recipe generator - it simply provides healthy recipes following Mediterranean guidelines..Version: 1.0
✓ Not AIP!!!!!Scrolling through the recipes when I started the free trial, and there are grains, nuts, seeds, and other ingredients that are a big no on the AIP diet. I’m just happy I didn’t pay the subscription fee! I cancelled right away..Version: 1.0
✓ AIP AppI was looking for aip complaint recipes to make cooking and shopping easier. I discovered upon downloading this app that the recipes are not AIP compliant. Very misleading..Version: 1.0
✓ Not actually the autoimmune protocolI downloaded this app for the autoimmune protocol, and indeed that’s what the title implies it is - but as it features items like chia seeds and bread it’s clearly not based on the actual autoimmune protocol. It’s a shame because it could have been a great resource and as far as I can tell the app is well designed. The issue is - the point of the autoimmune protocol is to remove potentially health harming foods and gradually introduce foods stage by stage in order to determine what a person can tolerate and what flares up their health condition. As this doesn’t follow the actual protocol, for someone who doesn’t realise that it could be detrimental to their health - and with some autoimmune conditions the consequences could be severe. Or at the very least, the diet in the app may not work and may put them off the idea of AIP, meaning they don’t go on to try actual AIP and potentially miss out on healing..Version: 1.0
✓ This is not based on the AIP dietThe recipes are not based on the AIP diet. They’re based off the Mediterranean and dash diets, and include ingredients which are not AIP compliant (i.e. rice, quinoa, legumes, nuts)..Version: 1.0
✓ Completely misleading and misinformedAIP and Anti-Inflammatory are completely different diets. This app has nothing to do with AIP despite the misleading name and logo. Irresponsible and dangerous to release something without a basic understanding of the reasons people may use an AIP diet vs anti-inflammatory..Version: 1.0
✓ Not AIPThe recipes have seeds, nuts and beans in them. Those are not included in the AIP diet. The person who developed this has no idea about auto immune. Worthless download..Version: 1.0
✓ Nothing to do with actual AIPI have no idea why this app is called AIP as it has nothing to do with the AIP protocol at all. Total waste of time and WILL NOT help with autoimmune diseases. DO NOT BUY.Version: 1.0
✓ Not AIPAfter researching AIP, this app was giving recipes that in no way followed Auto Immune Protocol. Having Lupus, some of the most common triggers are foods within these recipes. I cancelled the trial immediately..Version: 1.0
✓ Prohibited foods in photosWhen you do an elimination diet you are supposed to eliminate things like corn and cheese. The first photos I saw showed corn and parmesan cheese! I would have given it 1 star but the recipes did look delicious!.Version: 1.0
✓ Not AIP compliantI couldn’t use the recipes. I could not find any that were AIP compliant. It would be more helpful if you could select that you are in elimination phase to weed out non applicable recipes..Version: 1.0
