✗ Too fiddly, looks horrible, overpricedRTM was the first task manager I ever used. I could never get push notifications as I couldn’t afford pro, and while the natural language input seemed great it used to drive me up the wall as it didn’t accept things the way I naturally type them. I thought I would give it another try due to it having separate start and due dates, and a really advanced smart list system. However I’ve given up in frustration. It’s confusing that start dates are on the right and due dates on the left. The filter system is too confusing. A lot of the colours don’t stand out against the background. That cow logo is as ugly as it ever was (sorry but it’s true). I can’t see how to add tags in the task input window and it’s too frustrating to learn how to do anything. But my number one biggest complaint is that if a task starts today, it doesn’t appear in today - that only lists tasks due today. Sure, I can make a smart list. But the WHOLE POINT of start dates is for things to just show up! If it starts today it should show up today like in Things! Otherwise there’s no point offering dates. I use TickTick at the moment and considered a switch for the complex filter system but won’t be switching. RTM is too confusing, lacks calendar integration and pro is expensive and doesn’t seem to include that many features. It’s also just to difficult to work out how to do anything. I have never understood why RTM pro is so expensive and I still don’t. Also, a warning: you can get a refund on pro after 14 days but only if you buy through the website. It won’t tell you that in the app. And it also costs slightly more through the website which is unacceptable - RTM didn’t send me a good explanation for this when I asked why they had set a higher price on their website. So be warned. Sorry RTM but you really need to step up your game. This app is overrated and overpriced..StripedrabbitsVersion: 4.3.30
