✓ Unacceptable description write up from App designerI loved this app. The books in it are great and have help me change my life in amazing ways. Then today I open up the app and there is a write up from the designer saying - "I don't believe there has ever been a developer that bends himself over to the requests of his users more than I - probably another reason why I fail to be successful, despite my hard work. It's the way that I am - a sucker for pleasing unknown others. Just saying. Now all you iOS 5 users, please do something about those angry 1-star reviews - change them for the better." Are you kidding me. Do you even read some of the books in the app. That comment makes me want to no longer support anything you develop. Take accountability as to why you are not successful, stop blaming others, especially myself and other fellow consumers of yours ("the unknown others") and do something about it. You have created a great app, you should try using it too. I will not rate higher than 1 star until that write up is removed. Your thoughts and words become your life which I have learned from your app. I wish you the best in your ventures..Version: 6.2.1

✓ Not happy.Although it is clear a lot of hard work has gone into the app, which i am appreciative of. I cant help but be frustrated by the reality that parts of the books are missing information. I do not know the cause of this, be it an error in preparing the texts for the app or whether it is the authors sources. But i can assure you there are parts missing. Especially in 'The art and science of personal magnetism' where at one point half a chapter is nowhere to be seen. On top of this the often spelling mistakes make it hard to enjoy the app for what it is. If the author is willing to update with the missing information all will be fine and the spelling mistakes will be easy to dismiss, but for now save yourselves the money and find one of the many other copies of these books online. Other than these gripes the app is well put together and appealing to the eye, it's just let down by not being complete. I guess you do get what you pay for..Version: 5.1

✓ NEEDED MAJOR IMPROVEMENTSNo page numbers. Please Fix bookmarks it doesn't work. Also include date of every book. At least half are missing date when written. The index button to get back to mainpage hardly works and you have to pound on it like ten times to get you back. I recommend you copy the Easy User Friendly format of EGW app. Theirs almost 20 books plus Old and New testament. You can highlight and save texts, and search for key words. That apps on top of it and it's FREE. Great books but very difficult to navigate thru especially getting back to index. You have to press the back key like six or seven times to go back and switch books. Also main page is painfully small to see photos and book descriptions. Please increase FONT SIZE AND PHOTOS by removing Self Help Classics side bar. Thanxs.Version: 0

✓ Good collection of titles in a disappointing appI have discovered that the version of The Master Key included in this app, is different from the e-book version you will find elsewhere. Which is the correct, or original, version I don’t know, but it is disappointing to find this discrepancy. The e-book reader is nothing special btw. Overall, it is a good idea to bring together these titles, but I will probably seek the original versions elsewhere, and read them in a different reader..Version: 0
✓ Drab and hard to navigateI have no idea what these reviewers are talking about. I should have paid more attention to the title; Self Help CLASSICS and nothing but. I dislike the overall interface with the black background and white lettering. It seems you can change this in the settings while inside a book, but why is it set to default? The lettering on the book selection page is so small. Inside a book you can increase the font size, but you cannot change the font. Navigation is not intuitive nor is the content organized in any special way outside of the books themselves. These books date back pretty far, so I doubt that I'll use them too much when there are so many great new theories and ideas. If you've always wanted to have these books, this is certainly an efficient way to obtain them all at once. However, they are also free from most ebook retailers..Version: 4.0
✓ Why?They've decided not to include chapter 5 of Melvin Powers' "A practical guide to self-hypnosis" and I was curious about it. So I look it up on the intarweb and found the book online, available to read for free! The chapter in question is titled "How to arouse yourself from the self-hypnotic state" but it is not about what the religious censors behind this application might shamefully think..Version: 6.0
✓ Copy & paste removed...I'm not sure if I'll be downloading any more updates for this app because there always seems to be some sort of trade-off, when I first purchased it it loaded much quicker, the 'go to last page on startup' option worked nicely, (which it only does on a temperamental basis now), and it had a 'copy & paste' option - but since the recent update the 'copy & paste' option's disappeared! (It was nice to be able to share snippets of literature with friends or simply make quick notes). I'm not too keen on the page turning option (which doesn't seem as smooth as Stanza's, I preferred the 'page-jump' choice which has been removed!). If I'd been made aware of all of this I would not have updated! (I'm also using a 3gs phone with more than 50% of memory rem.).Version: 0
✓ Latest update is betterThe new update makes this app better although there is still a lot of room to improve. As a user I would like to see: - Page turning by tapping on the screen as well as finger swiping - manual 3D page turning when finger swiping ie page turns at the speed I move my finger - remove all screen icons when reading. Tap centre of screen to show them wen necassary - a screen dimming option without leaving the current page - word defininition linked to a dictionary - a scrolling text OR page turning option. Don't mix the two it doesn't quite work - all page text to fit perfectly within the screen frame when using page turning Download Stanza to see a perfect example of a book reader and get some improvement ideas. If these books were available through there I'd have no need for this app at all! This app is good because of it's content not because of it's usability. Room to improve guys, but getting there!.Version: 0
