✓ Good app but deserves a 1 because....This was an excellent app before they developers upgraded it and really messed up. They say that it was upgraded to support iOS 11. Well What they should have said was that it has been upgraded to prevent people with iOS 10 and 9 TO NOT BE ABLE TO RUN IT. An upgrade this was most definitely not and the developers really messed up with this. It isn’t an upgrade but a downgrade because they’ve lost customers. Also, getting rid of landscape view was a huge mistake. There are people who have difficulty in reading and they’ll almost certainly not bother with this app. The biggest problem with this app however is with the developers. They never reply and I’ve been trying to contact them for years, and I mean years! They are extremely rude and abusive when they do reply and very condescending. I reported them to Apple and when they saw the email that was sent to me by Batoul, they were shocked but couldn’t do anything. So if you don’t mind the abuse and have good eyesight and iOS 11 or higher, go for it. If you do, avoid!!!.Version: 3.3
✓ Mushaf style change is unfortunateI really liked the old version of this app. This update is missing two important features: First: the mushaf style change has really made it hard to read/memorize. I choose this app originally because the mushaf style was the same as the hard copy book I have had for 25 years (including having the name Allah is red) it throws me off now reading from here. Why can’t there be a choice? Secondly: Landscape mode is no longer available. It was quite useful for me when I wanted to concentrate on just a few ayat. Why remove it? Overall it’s a good app but it should be common sense not to switch mushaf styles on people..Version: 4.0.4
✓ Ok but needs improvementI think this is an ok Quran app but could use some improvement especially the capability to continuously play Surah after Surah which is essential but currently missing. It's a pain to select play after every Surah.Version: 3.0.2

✓ Very bad update!It was an amazing app until the latest version. Very disappointed to see how the developer unprofessionally handled it just to save some money. People paid money for the futures of this app before. But now the updated version is no different than any casual Quran app. If anyone was using the previous version knows what I’m talking about. ✓ QuranMashallah a prestigous app to have on the iphone. However, it desperately needs a function which allows the reader to zoom in. The page which is used to display the majestic quran above is slightly misleading as the actual font on many pages makes difficult reading for the eye. ✓ Great AppThe best Quran reader app for me. However slow to support the new iOS. On my iphone X, with the larger screen the Quran is stretched as the aspect ratio is not correct and I can no longer read in landscape mode. PLEASE update! jk.Version: 3.3

✓ Good app but used to be better!Before iOS 11, it was a great app for Uthmani script Quran. Waited ages for it to update (I almost deleted it thinking that it wasn't going to be updated!) ✓ جزاك الله خيرًاI think this is a very good app for Hafs except the translation should be dr Muhsin Khan, and that is more befitting and just. It would be nice to loop half an ayah as well but that's getting pretty picky. * now with the new update, the app will stop with any interruption coming from other apps. In the past, the app would play continuously, which was far better. It is actually a terrible update, in my opinion..Version: 4.0.4
✓ Page Search Always CrashesLovely interface on this application, but it *always*, yes, always, crashes when selecting the "go to page" function at the top right hand side of the screen. With a little extra work, this will be a lovely app. As the other reviewers have already said, an English version combined would be really good. ✓ Good app BUT…☝🏻Good app but ONE HUGE mistake in translation. Please contract the developer to notify and request the correction. I don’t have a Twitter account so I’ll leave it to one of you. Here’s the error in translation of As-Saffat, verse 158: “ They have established a kinship between Allah and the angels; and the angels know well that these people will be arraigned (as culprits).” The Arabic is CLEAR in mentioning JINN, and NOT angels and it mentions JINN twice yet the translation insists it is ANGELS and the commentary further states that: “ Though the word jinn is used here, it actually means angels as becomes evident from the verses that follow. (The word jinn literally means a "hidden creature".)”. NO….Allah is referring to JINN which is why he used the Arabic words “الجنة” and not “الملائكة”. There is no justification for the mistranslation whatsoever. Please contract the developer and insist this be corrected. Every other translation of the verse correctly uses the word Jinn and NOT angels..Version: 4.0.4

✓ Mushaf styleThis app has been my favorite Quran app for the past ten years. I have used this app and only this app to read and listen to the Quran for ten years. I used to love it, but now they changed the style of the mushaf, without even giving the option to switch back or to choose which one you want to read with. I memorized the Quran on the original one, which is actually the more common mushaf style now adays. Now when I opened the app about four days ago I was in shock to see that it self updated and now I am stuck and forced to read with this new style. I can not revise as it is not the same , I can’t even read without getting a headache because the ayahs now are on different pages. Why would you not allow us to change the style/ format of the mushaf font ?? Please see what you can do to resolve this. Other than that the new updates are great and are long overdue. We can finally rotate our phones and read sideways. They also added some new reciters and it’s a bit more user friendly than before. Please get back to me. jazakAllahokhaier.Version: 4.0.1
✓ Needs improvementsGood presentation BUT the writing is way too small coupled with lack of landscape feature, makes this very hard to read compared to the competiting versions. ✓ Please fix the loopThank you for your hard work in creating this app. Appreciate that there will be a few bugs and the one that is most niggling for me is the loop playback. The options now are ayah playback and loop playback with numbers up to 5. It’s really not what it seems as both options repeat ayah and I want the whole surah looped without repetition of ayah. Used to be able to do this in the older version. In the older version the surah could be repeated up to infinity times. I used that feature a lot and miss it. Why only 5 now and why is it always repeating the ayah in both ayah and loop options? Please fix that bug! Thanks.Version: 4.0.6

✓ New version is worseThis used to be my favourite mushaf app. But the new version has lost landscape view, which makes this app unusable without squinting or using magnifier. The font in portrait mode is squished. It’s a shame and I hope the developers take note..Version: 3.3
