✓ Boon for geneologistsThe app is simple, targeted, and effective. Perfect for anyone needing to know the soundex code for a name they are trying to look up in census records. While many computer geneology programs already do this (such as Reunion), I don't see the function in Reunion's iPhone app. So the iSoundex app fills a good niche. I did note that when I typed in a name with an apostrophe (of the "O'xxx" variety), the Daitch-Mokotoff system produced all zeros while the American soundex worked. I had to remove the apostrophe to generate the Daitch-Mokotoff code..OMearaEvansVersion: 0
