✓ Good basic startThis app is a very good introduction to the basic Myers Briggs personality typing. Some of the classifications of the types seem a trifle odd to me but the general explanations of the typing system and how this is assessed is very good. The interface is beautiful and easy to use. I personally use this for writing but I have also used it to explain typing to friends and to deal with work colleagues who think in a very different way to me. ✓ Great update for an already great app!!!Great update! The 40 questions got me thinking about my type and I got a better understanding of it. Really does teach you so much about yourself and others. Almost magical at parts, especialy the suggested words that people react to. It is fun! Got this app and already used in many real life situations, with my friends and at work. Really makes communication easier! I have tried the app in some real world situations and found it immensly helpful! It has helped me in a business meeting I had and with my friends. Love it! ✓ Love the update!Wow there's an entire book worth of material in here! And very accessible and practical. Some of the reviews say that elements are off. But the theory stuff looks spot on to me. Look and think and you'll see! There's a lot of great observations about the types. I've used Myers Briggs but haven't seen the keywords before--what a neat idea and they totally work. Spooky! And I'm finally learning the types. The icon for each one helps. The relationship match ups have got me thinking. This is totally a type junky's dream come true..Version: 1.2.2

✓ Awesome Update!!!I loved the idea of this app but felt that the original test was just not accurate(the results were all over the place)...The new long test is dead on! It matched the results of a professionally administered MBTI test I had taken back in the mid 90's, and I think that had at least 150 questions!.Version: 0

✓ Truly ImpressiveI have heard about the Personality Type Theory but never believed in it until now. This application enabled me to quickly analyze who I’m really dealing with in my relationships. I was trying to negotiate a lease with my new landlord but he wouldn’t put in a washing machine in the place, then I used this application to find out his personality type and that did it! I couldn’t believe it, but when I applied the Type Theory to my dealings with him, he softened right up and installed a brand spanking new washer / dryer in my place. Thanks Type App! I love this application’s simplicity and straight forward interface, it’s my new favorite thing to do, figure out what personalities are in my life and how to best approach them. If only everybody had this little magic wand in their hands all the time, we wouldn’t be having any more wars!.Version: 0
✓ Improvements1. The profiles section is glitchy please sort it. 2. We need a "trade off section" For instance: ENFP - ESTJ Ne Fi Te Si Which should highlight mastering your other conscious functions in order of preference, and vice verse for each trade off. 3. We need a "Middle ground section" For instance: At a glance common ground with another type, for swifter assistance in mutual agreement topics or modes of interaction. 4. Fix your compare section! ✓ Excellent distillation of the multiple-level modelI highly recommend getting this app and PsychTypes (by BSM Consulting) together and using them in tandem. Both are excellent and come from sources that have taught me a great deal in depth about the whole subject. In fact this app uses a deeper and more effective version of the personality type model than the other one does. A caveat: the version of the MBTI on this app, like any other version of the MBTI, is only meant to be taken as a first approximation and is right the first time only 70% of the time. (For decades I was mistyped as an INTJ by the MBTI; it took professional counseling for me to figure out that I'm in fact an ENFP, as some ENFPs are wannabe INTJs.) The MBTI is really meant to be taken under the administration of someone qualified to give it and to give feedback on how one actually behaves rather than how one thinks he behaves. That's one reason why Dr. Nardi takes other approaches on this app which may be more helpful in figuring out what type one truly is at the "core"..Version: 0

✓ Love it. Needs temperament explanation and profiling entries.Love it, well done. For those not sure, as it is a little pricey, have a look at the excellent support site to see the range and style of info on the app. One of the nicest uses of the coding here, is seeing your type results graphically: the more you are of one type the more it is lit up and the less you are of a type the more it is faded out. Love the graphics, the range of information and the three different questionairres. For the latter, I think replacing or rewording the repeat questions across the three tests would give a fairer result - otherwise we can remember our previous answers and do not take the test afresh. The four coloured temperaments NT, NF, SP and SJ are prominently graphically featured yet poorly and lightly explained; you also would have to dig about in one sub-section to find what they are. Recommendations: More use of interactivity - E.g. press on a type, it's opposite type lights up. Four new buttons for more info on the four temperament colours. Quick MBTI profiling recording. For example, I estimate my new client is a procedural, introvert but I am unsure of other characteristics. I then could enter those two in, I - - J, and it records the entry for later use. Adding the colour coding to the entries, which may be several possible temperment colours, if the profile is incomplete, would be a nice and quick graphical way of viewing the entries too..Version: 0
✓ Amazing accuracy!I was skeptical about an eight question test... But the eight question test, the forty question test, and a one hundred and forty question test on the Internet all gave me the same results (although the Internet test also gave me a headache). Definetly worth the low cost. I would recomend it to everyone, even if you don't believe in personality tests... It's bound to surprise you :).Version: 0

✓ Truly amazing!I was doing this analysis with myself and a friend of mine. We are basically brothers yet we differ hugely within mind And soul. My friend is some- what a conservative & your classic lawyer type. When I'm the film director wanna be, filled with liberal concepts & just your everyday artist. Yet when the results came up through this app, it was interesting & quite mind-boggling! Explained the pros and cons of our lifestyles and how they oddly synergize so easily together. ✓ Pretty Good...My dad works as a training specailist for MBT and has taught me that I am an ENFP while my brother is an INFJ. I took the test myself and it was accurate. While comparing me to my brother, it said my brother "strongly uses introverted thinking but may not rely on introverted thinking". That should be fixed in the next update..Version: 0
✓ Delivers as promisedOver the past 25 years in business, 10 in large scale fee negotiations, I have used this MBTI approach with great success. Yes it is a well validated approach in the literature. Yes it is usually a much longer questionnaire. Guess what? Their 8 questions pegged me exactly the same as these longer questionnaires. (The authors also recently added a 40 question version to reassure people.). This app has also received great reviews on other web sites. What can you do with this app? 1 Know your own personality style strengths and limitations. 2. Learn easily about other styles. 3. USE THE 8 QUESTIONS to fill in your own best estimated answers for someone else -- the app does a great job of pointing out how you differ and therefore how to work with the other. And a little secret for everyone else out there: if you want to get to know your friends better, then have them take the test and then you both look at their results... ✓ Nice MBTI AppContinues to be one of my favorite apps. But the wording is still confusing on some questions. I'd recommend having an outsider look them over and tell you their understanding of what is being asked and what each answer means, and see if that matches the intended meaning. Specifically, questions 20 and 22 from the 40 question test are confusing. Question 19 could use some rewording as well..Version: 0
✓ MBTI app for the iPhone!At my place of employment, employees personalities are tested using a very similar method. This app is remarkably accurate. I particularly like the fact that you can test and compare personality types within the app! And it'll let you know how you'll work or get along with a person. Also, if you already know a persons' type, you can easily review their tendencies prior to interaction with them for more favorable results! A must have for those familiar with this type of personality testing. And a must try for those wanting to understand people and/or themselves better! And no I wasn't paid to write this!.Version: 0

✓ Fantastic ToolWhat a superb application; I have utilised it personally as well as in a team environment, and found it to be extremely accurate. The only improvement I could suggest would be to have the added facility of emailing your results (either personal or comparative) to a contact.
