It is easy to transfer ringtones to the iPhone, although the process is a bit convoluted. As I recall you select a ringtone from the collection (very comprehensive & organized), an e-mail message with the ringtone generator attached is sent to your computer, you open the e-mail, save the generator As a file, use iTunes to convert these files, then sync your iPhone with the computer & your done! Phew! One other thing I would like to see is an option to exclude several different types of ringtones so that one doesn't have to put up with some Irish lass telling you in an awful brogue to pick up the phone.
