Think of a world without Flickr?I can’t..Version: 4.17.28

I Like FlickrI’m an amateur enthusiast with regard to photography and I’ve used Flickr for a number of years. I know there are other photos sharing sites, but my only experience is with Flickr. That being said, what I appreciate about Flickr is it’s easy navigation for both posting and organizing my photos. I also like how it’s convenient for visitors to my account to see my photos. This is especially important to me as my 90 year old mom likes to see my photos and she has no problems viewing my account. I’ve only recently begun using the phone app and so far so good, though it doesn’t seem quite as user friendly as using Flickr on my laptop. Thanks for the support!.Version: 4.12.7

Excellent site for pro and hobbyist photographersThe fact that Flickr uploads the full megabyte files of your photos should speak volumes, which means this site has some of the best quality photos available on the internet. I also enjoy the sharing of photo data feature, it’s not only interesting but very helpful. I’ve also met some really great people from around the globe and have enjoyed their photos and comments. I would suggest paying the subscription fee it will make your photo journey on Flickr much more enjoyable. ;-) The one improvement I’d make is being able to edit comments from a cellular device or iPad. Other than that keep up the good work Flickr!.Version: 4.16.5

Flickr reviewGreat place for photography. I’m liking it better than the other social medias.Version: 4.17.20

Exceptional for years, is only getting betterWe’ve been long time users of the Flickr service and are delighted to see it in the hands of people who are passionate about continuing its evolution..Version: 4.16.15

Steven Bulman PhotographyI joined flickr in 2006 and have seen it change many times. Through its popular to less popular moments, it has always brought me the joy of sharing my work, viewing the images of others, making long distance friends, and growing as a photographer. Among the many elements one can enjoy as a member includes the sharing of comments. This however is disappearing. Sadly new members are after quick counts and offer a thank you on their own site in place of a comment. This doubles their own views in place of commenting on the work of another. The very reason flickr was created - to lend a social venue for photographers. Regardless of this new short coming, flickr is unique as a social media and photo sharing platform. I will not go anywhere else. There remains one oddity though, flickr will not accept the spelling of flickr! Regards, Steven Bulman.Version: 4.17.27

Flick R is about to become relevant againThe discussions in the groups on Flick R used to be thriving, then they all stopped at once Now that everybody’s left twitter and have rediscovered their forgotten Mastodon, Tumbl R, etc accounts, I’d like to encourage everyone who takes pictures and looks at other people’s pictures to come back and discuss in the groups – they were good, and will be again To Flick R – make the groups somehow work on the fediverse! You know it makes sense Also, one (for now) criticism, give me far better management tools in the iPadOS/iOS app – I will never go to the web site, I hate web sites, I want to do it all in the app but as it stands it’s geared to doing a lot of things to only one pic at a time (eg putting a set of pics in a group).Version: 4.17.1

The BEST photo sharing/storage/community app EVER!I’ve been on Flickr for over 12 years and I’ve seen it’s evolution over those years. I don’t exaggerate when I say Flickr is the best app out there for all photographers. You’re given a very generous amount of free upload space (1TB) and unlimited space if you join the yearly subscription. Because of that I’ve started using it as a backup to my backup photo archive. It allows easy full resolution uploads. Besides that, I love the communities that are on Flickr. If there is a type of photography you like or type of camera or any kind of photography process, there is more than likely a community for it. If not you can easily start one. I’ve tried other photography apps but I keep coming back to Flickr. As I write this review, SmugMug just purchased Flickr. I’ve tried SmugMug too but I always felt like it’s focus was to sell you something. I hope SmugMug doesn’t make any drastic changes to this already perfect app!.Version: 4.15.9

Flickr LoverHaving used a couple of online social photo sites, such as Nat Geo’s Your Shot and Canon’s site - then having them pulled out from under me, I moved to Flickr and found a vibrant and varied community of photographers representing a wide range of countries from around the world. There are many features including a huge assortment of groups devoted to various aspects and types of photography. There are Photographers and artists of every level of ability and a very tolerant and respectful audience. It’s free to try and use, and for a modest fee, unlimited storage and other features, including a simple online editor for some touch ups. Hopefully it will continue to grow and improve..Version: 4.16.33

AvisLes photos sont superbes et votre site est facile à utiliser ! Merci.Version: 4.17.24

So it can be just about photos. It’s good to know that in 2024, that Flick; one of the few I’d guess from the early days of App Store and website photo sharing. Is still a good place to be, it’s not filled to the brim with intrusive adverts, or, a need to bombard the user with injections of reels or stupid reshared clips of cop chase videos or some other tick-chat re-share. The interaction with other users in dedicated groups is nice; being able to pose questions about cameras, like I have recently is great. It’s a great place to be..Version: 4.17.25

A beautiful photo sharing app, much better than Instagram.Over time I think we’ve all started to realize that the social media-ifying of everything - even photography - has made something that used to be simple, accessible and a point of real happiness in our lives a more toxic place. Flickr has been around for years and all the while celebrated actual photography - photos that can be presented outside the constrictions of a 1x1 or 5x4 box, that can be seen in landscape, whose details you can zoom in on. It’s also a community of positivity that encourages improved photography skills and risk-taking. The app is beautiful, clean, simple, and has a community of people who actually care about taking good photos rather than photos of themselves barely wearing anything. As Instagram moves toward a focus on becoming a TikTok clone, this is quickly becoming a place where I’m inspired to take better photos..Version: 4.16.29

Flickr certainly come a long way since I joined.I really enjoy being on Flickr…its rather like being in a multi pen pal society, that l really love about Flickr….also logging on to Flickr everyday to chat and admire and learn from other people’s shots and techniques. Processing your own photos now is far less stressful than it used to be and buying your own work when it comes back is what you ordered and wanted, unlike numerous other companies who return rubbish to you that bears no resemblance to what you ordered. Thanks Flickr :-).Version: 4.17.16

Flickr review. So far it has been a great platform to have my Fotos seen and appreciated!.Version: 4.17.24

5Star Rating 💯💯fantastic appFantastic platform. Learning so much from other folk’s compositions. 5 STAR RATING..Version: 4.17.22

Flickr is awesomeFlickr is awesome and I love it.Version: 4.3.3

Best photography app by farSuch an inspirational app. I have tried lots of photography apps to showcase my work and view others but this is my favourite by far. Flickr has a bit of everything for everybody. The images are displayed in a high enough resolution to be enable decent viewing. I have struggled to find any other app that can do this. Great place to store your photos as well. A nice simple user interface. All in all a top app. I highly recommend it..Version: 4.12.6

:)Love flicker.Version: 4.11.5

Encouraging and great site to promote each others workI used flickr for two years straight before going onto instagram. I used instagram for one month and feel like crap like how you feel after you eat mcdonalds. Instagram is an account that you need in the photography world but that world feels so aggresive and hunting for likes. Flickr feels like everyone is friends, there's no fight for who has the most followers or likes and feels more encouraging. Plus with flickr Im able to see other peoples work in the best possible resolution whereas instagram is so low res and you have to squint your eyes. Id like to thank you flickr team for helping me progress as a street photographer, giving me the tools to promote my work to others. You have a winning formula and I will always be a huge supporter and promoter of your site. Stay Frosty.Version: 4.15.6

FlickrAwesome for creating personalised photos.Version: 4.16.7

Just get it!!!Easy to use app. I take hundreds of photos each week and it was taking hours to upload from the computer. Being able to do it from my phone each day is awesome and quick..Version: 2.01.772

Flickr - Treasures in My PocketI added Flickr when transitioning from a work computer to a personal one, because Flickr was recommended by an Apple Store clerk, especially because of the free storage of a terabyte of photos. The quality and access with this account has been amazing though I was disappointed that an annual fee for service was added. I have resisted paying but recognize the loss of priceless memories and have decided to work with the company on this new structure. I’ll be watching for the same high quality of service to make this decision worthy of my membership fee for service from a company that I expect to stay true to its origins..Version: 4.12

Love the appUpload my photos so I can view them on the TV, when visitors come the photos play on the tv while we sit and talk. Flickr friends can see them on their app and I can see photos others with the same equipment have posted. I have joined a couple of groups, it's great to get unbiased feedback on my photos. I love sharing my photos and looking at other photos to get ideas and inspiration.Version: 4.5.0

Excellent but a little slowMy only complaint is the upload/processing time, something that the browser version also struggles with. So many new features! Tremendous upgrade. 2023-11-05 asked again for a review, lol. Still a fan. :).Version: 4.17.20

Flickr is the best format to dateThe talent showcased on Flickr is astounding. The in-app controls, i.e. description editing and privacy are user-friendly. For those of us who accumulated a ton of photos but hadn't upgraded to Pro yet, we were forced to make a decision to pay for Pro or lessen our content on their servers. I opted for the upgrade, hoping for more exposure and possible additional business ventures. IG's link to FB's business accounts is more expensive and riddled with even more junk to wade through. Even though Pro is in a trial run for me, I am almost certain to be pleased with my decision; and as long as pricing remains reasonable..Version: 4.10.1

Great seeing the photos and dataAs oer the title it is interesting to see the settings used as I can learn from this.Version: 4.17.27

Still the best...Flickr has been around for many years now, in various forms and under a number of owners, but now it is with Smugmug it’s got a sense of direction again. It’s the photo community for people who see photography as something more than pouting selfies and unrealistic lifestyle expectations. The app is still largely unchanged from the Yahoo! days, but it does the job. However, the desktop experience is where it is at. £6 per month for Pro is also a small price to pay to not be bombarded with ads, to have my data mined and my feelings manipulated..Version: 4.15.11

Good to be backDeleted Instagram and use in combination with Apples Photo app. The platform is excellent and worth the Pro price - hope it stays at that price. The app itself needs an update as it has the potential to replace Instagram more broadly, it would be nice if the Uploadr would work in the background so I don’t have to leave it open overnight..Version: 4.9.1

Long time user, returning to frequencyI’ve been a Flickr user for more than a decade. I was a very frequent user in the early days and have gone back and forth over the years, trying different platforms. I was concerned when Yahoo! sold Flickr as there were recent changes to revitalize and update the site, app and community. The most recent sale to SmugMug seems to be good for the platform. Updates to the algorithms an tweaks to the interface and apps are good and I find myself spending more time in the environment. The latest app I’m reviewing had been great, though I docked one star for having to click on a different tab after scrolling deep into the explore pages. There is no quick way to return to the top of the page otherwise..Version: 4.10.1

Where I keep my photo blog and make photo contactsUpdate 2022: ditto. Update 2021: love it, can’t wait to get back out and photograph so I can post them here. Update 2020: still my favorite photo community. ————- Update: 2019. Still my favorite community. I wish they’d return groups to the way they used to be or something similar but I’ve never found a better learning resource with so many good photographers. Take your time and cultivate a group of friends with common interests. Give to get. Have fun. ————— I've had an account since 2008. It is still the best photo sharing website. I wish Yahoo was more active and innovative but given their corporate and financial worries I am amazed at what they have accomplished. I have a core of nature photographer friends who have remained over the years. We support and cheer each other on; it's fun. Others migrated to Google+ and Facebook for more visibility. However, Flickr respects photographer's rights unlike Facebook. Flickr involved a lot user action in their last major revisions. While there are things I don't like about the changes, overall they were a major improvement. I like Flickr. I think you will too..Version: 4.16.34

Bien organiséeJ’ai hésité, considéré beaucoup d’autres options mais je suis très content de mon choix! Flickr est vraiment efficace pour la gestion des photos..Version: 4.17.20

FlickrAll ways there when you need it, 👍😀.Version: 4.16.7

Great AppThis app is well worth acquiring! You don’t have to be a professional photographer; although many are! Uploading your photos is easy! Flickr also supplies an easy to use and adequate editing tool. On your page are a number of predefined spaces into which you can place your photos. In the space allocated for you a selfie is usually placed; more than one may be seen as excessive! Under your selfie is, I estimate, ample space to write about yourself!! Flickr, offers many subject specific groups that you can join, comment and add your pics too; bound to be few that cover your interests! Any photographer’s work that’s liked you can ‘fav’ their pics and/or follow. Likewise, others can interact with you. Your own interactive gallery!.Version: 4.16.8

Simple & unobtrusiveNice app that mostly does everything I want. Old school photo storage and control without the messy new social media gunk and ads. There are some contemporary photo features which I’d love to see added to the app though! Things such as automatic album organisation (people, pets, food etc) and generally bringing more of the desktop site to the app would be great. Thanks Flickr 🤘.Version: 4.16.25

It’s pretty goodJust started using it, seems like a good photographer focused alternative to Instagram, one complaint is that you have to pay to post more then 1000 photos so not the greatest in the long run, and if you did you would have to pay a subscription. But I could just start deleting the old photos but then that detracts from the timeline feature where you can see how far you have come. It also does not have dark mode (that I could find. All small complaints but much better then insta if you are interested in photography or just looking at nice pictures..Version: 4.16.27

Worth it for the sharing featureAlmost twenty years after I started using Flickr there’s still nothing else quite like it. I love the ability to search using metadata and to add my own. There’s also a great feature allowing you to select images and share them via a link without having to make a specific album. It’s a great service that deserves your love..Version: 4.17.2

Thanks for the notification changesI asked a few times for the ability to filter what notifications we receive and you have delivered. Thank you!.Version: 4.16.17

Don’t Know What I’d Do Without It!This app is so amazingly easy to use! I plan to make albums to share pictures of various collections I own. I currently use Flickr to help me identify dolls that I collect. So many pictures available to me in one place makes this task much easier! It is also a great way to “meet” other people who share my same interests! I highly recommend using this app whether you are an avid photographer looking to share your photos with the world, someone who wants to share family photos across the miles, or someone who just likes sharing photos in general. It is also a great place for sorting and storing pictures no matter what your reason. So what are you waiting for? Give Flickr a try!.Version: 4.16.25

It works.Rare to find a well thought out app that does something well, completely, and doesn't keep whinging to be fixed when it isn't broken. Every software developer could take a lesson from this. Flickr is for sharing photos. It accommodates different styles of photography. It works on a mobile device and on desktop. It presents the work beautifully. It has community groups for different interests, WITHOUT foisting ideas, opinions and advertising on people. The search function on the desktop site to find examples of photos, camera examples, samples from particular lenses is the best research tool. The information available about each photograph is invaluable..Version: 4.3.3

Awesome AppLove this app. Easy to use and keeps me up to date with everyone I’m following..Version: 4.17.21

A Great PlatformAn easily usable site to showcase photography, ideas and discourse..Version: 4.15.16

Really love this app nowWith the latest changes the Flickr App is becoming my one of my favorite apps. Love the new camera roll. On my Mac makes it easy to see my photos chronologically. Can we get this in the app please?.Version: 4.16.15

Nice place to spend some timeI love spending time on this app. Everything about it is easy..Version: 4.15.6

Stops working the second I pay for itBelow was my rating some time back. things are back to normal and it's working great now. too bad I lost money. maybe they should have more features like Google photos. how in the world does this happen? I went ahead and got a premium account, paid it and all, and now I have no ability to see my photos in chronological order!!! I have been a member since 2003, I believe and have never been so disappointed with Flickr. my videos aren't loading, neither are my photos loading in sequence but all scrambled so I have to go back and forth with my iPhone photos and flickr and make sure that all the pictures were downloaded correctly. this has been going on for months, now that you've forced everyone to pay! I don't understand. I'm going to have to start uploading my photos onto Google. I might end up liking that better since my sister gets little memories slide show on hers. I'm over waiting months to get this problem resolved..Version: 4.16.12

Love it again!!A big Thank You for fixing ALL the glitches that we experienced over the past few days! I now love the updates, and you are back to 5 stars in my book! I still love it, but cannot stand the bugs that came with the new version! It's nearly impossible to make or reply to comments, I can't add tags, and can only add one group or album at a time...VERY frustrating! I use this app every single day, but am having to rely on my PC more and more. Please work out these serious problems.... Just this past year I started really using Flickr to put all of my trip photos "out there"! I was really pleased with a lot of them, and hated for them just to stuck on my computer or phone. I figured other photographers and travel geeks might enjoy them, and I was right! I have over 600 followers who are always ready to provide some words of encouragement as well as share their wonderful photos with me. I am addicted....Version: 4.3.3

I love Flickr love love love.I’ve been using Flickr for over 10 years. Can’t believe it’s taken me this long to review. It’s awesome for cataloging your photos. I pull up the app all the time in discussions to show people my old photos and they are so easily accessible because I use the album and collections features. I love sharing my photography with the world, but I also upload my iPhone snaps and everything in between. I love to look at Flickr for a pick me up or walk down memory lane. Many people I know don’t show photos because they are too hard to find in the camera rolls of their phones. Or they don’t back them up and loose them. This gives me piece of mind that I will never loose them, to a lost device or a home fire, the precious memories of my kids growing up will be preserved! I pay for pro and think it’s priceless. I use the full website to upload my dslr photos and the app more for viewing. The app could use a few improvements here or there, occasionally I have trouble uploading through the app. Overall I’m a big fan and look forward to many more years to come..Version: 4.14.4

Great AppGreat place to upload full size photos and curate albums..Version: 4.15.9

2 Fast 2 PhotoWe were lucky enough to meet Garry a while back when we first started our club “The Hill Of The Ravens Scooter Club” and seen the benefits of his talent, this also gave us as a new club the opportunity to have 2 Fast 2 Photo become one of our VIP members which not only promotes our small club and support, but also allows the rest of the country see the talent that is Garry. In all the time we have known him, Garry has never let us down, even to the point of rushing through his other job to ensure that he is available and in plenty of time to catch the first arrivals as they come in..Version: 4.16.34

Flickr: Still getting better with time (and still impervious as ever to hurricanes and floods)I started using Flickr back when it was available in PC-only format. Now, it’s on my iPad Pro tablet and iPhone 8, and working better than ever. Compared to the growing host of “edit, upload and organize” cloud storage options that exist today, Flickr remains the premier domain for any and all serious shooters, pros and hobbyists alike, who need 100% reliability. I’ve been a full-time photojournalist for over 40 years: Even now, forcefully retired by health challenges, I cannot resist the allure of living through a lens. Thousands of career pictures, my life story, are secured today on Flickr, Anytime I or anyone else wants to see them. Hurricane Ike destroyed my house in Seabrook, Texas, in September 2008. The frantic rush of a forced evacuation was brutally exhausting. So much so that I grabbed the wrong box on my last trip to the truck ... the one that held all of my backup hard drives. Ike invited 4 feet of Galveston Bay storm surge into my living room. By the time it flowed back home, every photo I had taken since 1976 was destroyed. I was devastated. Until I remembered Flickr, and all the “cherry” images that over the decades I had edited and uploaded for safekeeping. Flickr is a whole lot more than cloud photo storage. And for me, the pro membership is worth every cent:. Larry in Clear Lake City, Texas.Version: 4.5.0

Excellent photo care and displayLive the safety of Flickr, easily organised and protected, or displayed publicly.Version: 4.16.11

Flickr is a great way to showcase photographyFor years I haven’t displayed or shown my work for fear of criticism or rejection. Flickr enables like minded photographers to showcase work, encourage each other and make a place full of beautiful content for the photographer behind the camera..Version: 4.16.13

Looking forward to seeing what newAwesome app.Version: 4.17.29

ConnectThank to you guys ( Flickr) has got me out of a deep state of depression I had a Accident in work nine years ago witch left me Disabled and in Severe pain and no light at the end of the tunnel, I’ve tried a few Hobbies and ended up with a camera and water Colour Painting as my Hobby I got Introduced to Flickr 2019, now I look forward onwards and upwards and looking at members art and hard work and beautiful photography😊📸📸📸📸.Version: 4.16.13

Finally an honest app for fotos…You are left to enjoy your pictures.Version: 4.17.25

Just About PerfectYup, just about perfect! I can't think of anything wrong about either the app or the browser version. And a whole terabyte free! I hope it continues to be loved and supported and doesn't disappear surely some day, or gradually decline into a shadow of its current self..Version: 4.4.0

Great productStill missing RAW filing..Version: 4.17.25

Easy to use. Images look niceOverall easy to use once you get the hang of it. Images look good and I like having the camera/lens settings so I can get an idea of how it was shot. It helps with the learning. Quibble: make the delete button easier to find. I also wish the personalized URL could be changed more than once so it can keep up if I need to change my website domain or my “stage” name..Version: 4.17.27

Just keeps doing it wellBeen on Flickr for years, and it's never let me down. In old days slow internet made life a little tiresome, but with faster speeds it does a great job, even with big files. Go Flickr folk-keep chasing the unobtainium..Version: 4.16.34

This app helps me get out of my “shell”...I’ve only been using the Flickr app for about a year, and the photo posting and sharing has worked wonders for my photo skills. With the feedback and likes, for which I am grateful to receive, I am inspired to create beautiful photos. It’s akin to having great feedback from those I admire. I’m a photo enthusiast with a few years of photography under my belt, and this app helps me share my love for the visual beauty surrounding me. Thanks for the FREE app Flicker. I’ve recently become a Flickr PRO, and still love it. Four years into Flickr and I’m still loving the sharing and connection with others. I thing I’ve improved my craft, with the help of my involvement with Flicker people. Keep those inspiring posts coming! They help..Version: 4.16.12

Great for photographersFlickr is still the best photo sharing site around..Version: 4.17.22

Recent problem after years of Pro accountHave used for many years and switched to App a couple of years back. Love Flickr but in recent weeks have not been able to load the app at all- crashes every time. Had my iPhone 6 for nearly 2 years and never had a problem - hence only 4 star rating. Cannot log on using desktop either due to conflict of user name and email address? Pro account is worth the small fee as it's a great way to archive and share your photo history with friends and groups. Hoping for an update soon to fix this current bug! I reported this issue in the above review in June and astonished there is still no solution now it's October - I even got stuck in the feedback page trying to post this comment! There are many similar queries in the app support section!!!.Version: 4.4.0

Amazing!I use it to upload photos and its really a joy to use! No complaints, smooth interface, easy to find what you want, join groups, comment, fav etc... Its all really well designed, I don't even use it to store my own photos from the camera roll but it doesn't force me too. It can be used (like I'm doing) as a sort of social media to share things. Overall I highly recommend downloading whether your a casual or Pro user its honestly a 'must have' app on your iDevice!.Version: 4.0.7

Great platform for photographsWhether you’re a hobbyist, a beginner, or a photographer who creates beautiful art, Flickr is a great platform to admire others’ skill, challenge your own skills, and connect with people all around the world..Version: 4.16.16

A breath of fresh air, hope it lastsFlickr is a breath of fresh air, away from advertising and robotic, sickly ALGORHYTHM that kills all sense of wonder and fun. It makes you feel almost like digging through a record store, it's not invasive. I'm glad i remembered it exists, before it gets ruined by the same ethos that ruined everything else..Version: 4.16.23

Best photo backup warehouseFirst of all, a whole terabyte is a lot of space. Secondly, there is no loss of resolution, you can always obtain your original upload, even if the usual version displayed and/or shared be smaller. Third, you get much more control over your images than with other services (e.g. Apple’s) and the price is lower than others (e.g. Shoebox). I could go on with more details. I admit there are some features that can be improved. However, the main point is: install it it and try it. I like this so much I want everyone to get on board! As Yahoo! goes through changes we hope Flickr will always continue to grow..Version: 4.5.4

GreatIt's great for photographers and people who want to share their photos. You may think, "why should I get Flickr when there are apps like Instagram and whatnot?" Well I think that there are many reasons why this app is better than Instagram and I wish more people used Flickr..Version: 4.3.3

Still the bestQuietly, Flickr is still the best app for photos.Version: 4.17.28

Fantastic platformThis is a great platform for showcasing your work and viewing the work of others. With the image detail displayed behind most images, it allows new photographers, such as myself, to view the camera settings the image was captured using. Which can be a massive help when setting up your own camera. That said, it is a fantastic platform for all levels of ability and experience to share images and appreciate the images captured by others..Version: 4.17.2

Editing photos using iPad and iPhone not functioningFor few days when trying to editing photos using iPad and iPhone the App stops working and going to freeze … the problem persists even after the latest Flickr App update I depend on the App editor for all my photos editing Regards.Version: 4.17.19

AmazingI am a painter & as much as I love to get outside for some plein air painting, it’s not always easily accessible. Flickr creates a great space for photographers and other artists alike to post usable references for people like myself to use. Many of these are unlike the crappy and boring stock photos you find all over google and Pinterest. If I want a painting reference and can’t get out for plein air painting, I always come to Flickr and I recommend beginner artists do the same for their references. Overall, an easy 5/5 for me, I honestly have 0 problems with the site, and appreciate all of the wonderful and talented artists and photographers who use Flickr as a means of expressing their creativity and allowing others to express theirs with interesting and helpful photographs..Version: 4.16.2

Still THE best photo app!Having tried Apple, Google, Microsoft this is still the best photo app by far. It's not weighted to one particular platform. The app is almost easier to use than the online web version. Almost any phone can upload a pic to flickr. Sharing a link to a flickr album is easy and the recipient doesn't need a flickr account to see the pics. It's important to logon using the web version to set up your privacy and copyright preferences, but it's a one time job. These prefs far advanced, compared to the others I've mentioned. If you can add Apple TV (3rd gen and above to get 1080p HD) then this works extremely well with flickr. Take a pic on your phone, upload to flickr, watch it on your tv when you get home. Easy. For amateurs and pro photogrpahers this is still the best. Enjoy..Version: 4.7.3

Longtime userI love Flickr but admit that I don’t use it nearly as much as I did five years ago. It’s beautiful layout and networking through groups is what has me coming back again and again. The one thing I don’t really like is the way users were discouraged to mention that their online shops (Etsy) - but I’m not sure if that’s still a rule. I guess the positive side of that restriction is that Flickr didn’t develop into a tacky “look at my sale!” Marketplace. But That leaves it as a space for Art, not just marketing , which is really needed in this day and age. So, bravo! Flickr for not selling out and making room for beauty.Version: 4.10.2

Flickr FunGreat platform for sharing images and interacting with other artists. Groups help kindle common interests or highlight different places and galleries are excellent for keeping inspirational work to hand. Being able to download work back is reassuring should anything go wrong with personal storage. The explore feature is interesting to view regularly bringing to light new work and artists who may be worth following and to be featured in it is a huge boost for anyone..Version: 4.17.1

Human TouchI also have iPhone 6 but I have no trouble getting on the site either on phone or pc. It did have an issue of trying to log on when they switch to the pro version but all is fine now. The beauty of this great site is you can look at pictures from people all over the world, also you can get to know what settings you need to take shots it’s very helpful that Wray but if you don’t want to share this info you can stop it from coming up when viewed. I originally wanted an app that I could put the pictures on my iPhone this does it very easily. Superb app keep up the Great Work.Version: 4.12.3

Pretty coolWell worth get and exploring our world through different camera lenses and showing off your master pictures keep the light bright or not up to you 📷💡🎥❤️.Version: 4.16.35

Outstanding way to backup photos! It lets you upload 1000GB of photos for free and instantly backs up new photos taken with camera roll. An exceptional way to backup photos and clear clutter on your iPhone.Version: 4.0.7

Excellent Photo Sharing CommunityFlickr is a great app…easy to use and reliable - great way to immerse into the photographer’s community..Version: 4.17.24

GreatI have been using Flickr for many years and while I don’t consider myself a power user it’s the simple things it’s great as: i really appreciate how easy it is to upload my photos from my mobile devices. Free storage provided is of a good size. The mobile app does what I need, too— upload, organise and display my photos. It also serves what I’m guessing are meant to be ‚inspirational photos’ from other users which to be honest are often too good to be true— they appear on the start screen which i can’t get away from too quickly to avoid being disappointed of my own images. The only downside is when I want to upload from the desktop: I am now using Lightroom with an upload plugin to provide a comfortable way to do that as the Flickr desktop app, I believe, is still very crude and browser uploads don’t really cut it for me..Version: 4.6.0

Freedom and fantasyEnjoying the freedom to express in here❤️ free like Second Life.Version: 4.17.25

FlickrPictures posted on Flickr challenge me to be a better photographer….Version: 4.17.24

Need some user friendly fixes but love the ease of access once images are loadedNot easy to upload but great to access.Version: 4.17.14

Love itI love looking at others creativity. Great inspiration. Fun friendly community.Version: 4.16.29

Best photography app on hereLove it. Always rate upcoming lens purchases on flickr pages..Version: 4.17.22

Works for meI really like Flickr, I do find it expensive but that’s just how things are these days. At least you get what you pay for and are not bombarded with mindless adds and inane gossip. You even get service from the people who keep it going, how’s that? I use it to store many pictures and really enjoy browsing the content of others, some simply excellent photographers on here..Version: 4.16.12

Kennethcanada1Very good, Thank You..Version: 4.17.27

Love the appThe only change I would suggest is that it update across devices. For instance, if I mark a notification as read on my PC or iPhone, it should not me require to do so on my iPads as well. I have the app installed on my iPhone and two iPads as well as logging in on my PC so every notification requires me to look at it four times!.Version: 4.3.3

Great App,Love Flickr its great to see and compare photos from different cameras and gear and from so many different places around the world. One thing i wish is the all photos identified where they were taken, as there are some places id like to travel to if identified in the photos. Great to see so many people being creative and enjoying photography so much and able to share their memories and work..Version: 4.1.1

Still the best for many thingsStill the best for those who really just want to upload and share and curate their own photos, rather than hunting for “likes” and “followers”. Also great for he discussions and groups..Version: 4.8.2

Great photo sharing siteI’ve been using Flickr for 13 years now. It’s a great way to showcase your photographs and to learn from other photographers..Version: 4.17.21

Friends on FlickrI feel my ability to pursue and enjoy photography improved dramatically when I joined Flickr and began making friends with fellow photographers. If I wanted to learn from friends pictures I could ask questions or look at Flickr shot information that tells me the settings used to get the shot. I look at all aspects of an individuals shot and also the angle of the shot. I study composition and contemplate what draws me to the photograph and what sets it apart. Flickr people are wonderful and generous with ideas and comments. Flickr is a type of social media that encourages by example and is filled with techniques you can learn. It is clearly better than most classes and a road map for becoming a better photographer! Penny.Version: 4.12.2

10/10I would give this app a a 10/10 all the people are very nice and it is not that hard to use I really like this app and will continue to use it if you are not 18 for smug mug this is a good replacement.Version: 4.17.22

👌🏻This is great.Version: 4.17.22

Excellent showcaseIf your serious about photography or in my case serious about in proving your own photographs this is the app to use. It is well set out and easy to use. All copyright is kept by you if you choose and so it feels more like your own website than a host. There is a limit before you have to pay so it isn’t a place to store all your pictures. But the amount is so large that by the time you reach it you will be so used to the site that you will have already paid to be pro. There are really excellent photos on the site and I have barely scratched the surface so if your ever short of inspiration. A few minutes of browsing should get your creative juices going..Version: 4.12.1

Image quality not as good as competitorsIt’s good, but not that good. Competitors like Vero, 500px and date I say it even Facebook produce a better resolution than this app. I upload to these competitors at 2048 pixels long edge and they look better than Flickr app. Don’t believe me? Upload a milky way shot to these others then compare them against this app. Preferably use the Flickr website as the IQ there is better than this app..Version: 4.7.2

Flicker ?Just love this site, so easy to manage. Link up with like minded people. No rubbish to have to contend with. Please congratulate your staff for the effort they put in to make it so pleasant to travel the world with photographers. Regards, Gordon Grieve..Version: 4.16.39

FlickrI love it.Version: 4.17.25

Others come and don’t always goInstagram was once the place for photographers to share brilliant photos but it’s become more of a social platform, morphing into Twitter and Facebook, lots of promoted posts. Meanwhile Flickr has done its thing, staying true to its ideology; a good looking platform for people who are passionate are about photography. Storing the first 1000 photos is free. I only have 200+ but pay for ‘Pro’ membership to support what they do, because I value their ethos and I want Flickr to remain a ‘safe space’..Version: 4.15.14

Good, but needs a LOT of updatesI love this app and it’s a great way to make friends and post photos. But there are many things that are on the Flickr website that desperately need to be added to the app. There are glitches such as people’s accounts getting deleted completely and being replaced with a ghost account with a randomly generated name and deletes all pictures, comments, faves, follows, and any possible trace of said person. It creates a huge inconvenience to these people and can cut off their communication and cost them their photos. I know from experience because people that I have come to know primarily through this app, have all been deleted at the same exact time due to these “glitches” by Flickr (in reality, Flickr is deleting them on purpose because these people are seen as unimportant). The app needs to be updated with the ability to change your cover photo, create galleries, change your “About” information, send and receive messages, tag people in comments without pushing reply, tag multiple people in comments, update emojis instead of generating a bunch of unrelated symbols, editing album descriptions and cover photos, and creating a showcase for photos. As you can see, this app is great, but needs adjustments that could easily be fixed if Flickr would recognize them..Version: 4.15.13

Great app for the creativesI’ve been a member of Flickr for years. I love how the pics I upload are used all over the world on a variety of mediums. And I love how I can access such great pics for my own use. The app makes it a delight to browse the latest pics uploaded by other users or to search for the perfect pic when I need it..Version: 4.15.9

Still LearningI travel quite a bit so I use the App to keep up with the people I follow. I am very enthusiastic about photography and have begun to post directly from my phone. Newer phones can create impressive images so, for me it has become very convenient to capture more unique images at any opportunity. Unfortunately I cannot find a way to create an album on Flickr from my phone App. (Since I originally wrote this, some years ago, I can now create new albums, thanks Flickr). The app is fine for searching, viewing and commenting but I need to use my PC for some functions. It's not perfect but I still enjoy my slightly limited experience..Version: 4.16.28

Great place to exhibit your photosI have been on Flickr for years now and as an amateur photographer it is great to have a place to show my images to the world. I photograph landscapes, portraits, wildlife and nudes, Flickr gives me the opportunity to exhibit all these different genres. I now have over 20 million views across all genres. Give the free version a go and then you can upgrade to Pro if you like it..Version: 4.17.22

Don’t get ZuckeredFlickr’s large pixel count for individual photo files compared to Zuckergram (aka Instagram), ease of searching and navigating, and minimal advertising ensure it remains an ideal, warm, welcoming and easy to use forum for photography beginners through to professionals to showcase and share their images. The worst thing that could happen for Flickr would be for it’s owners to push it more in the direction of Zuckergram..Version: 4.9.0

Photography on FlickrPhotography has a voice all its own. In full color or B&W. Great photography grabs our attention, soothes our senses and encourages us to continue our search for our next fun day with camera in hand. Flickr provides us the opportunity to see the World in all its beauty and share our thoughts with photographers from around the globe. I’ve been an active member for almost ten years. I learned so much here from others and their work. We’re like family in the best sense of the word. Literally from all over the globe I witness stunning work being shared. Great work doesn’t intimidate me but rather encourages me to keep working at my craft. Thanks everyone at Flickr for sharing, commenting and encouraging. Keep the shutters clicking people. JDHANSEN.Version: 4.15.2

FlickrHaving tried other photo share sites I can tell you that Flickr is the best I have found. Not only are your images presented in the best possible way, but it is a great way to make friends who are like mind with yourself. Try it yourself, you wont be sorry, you never know your images might starred in the ultimate accolade of Flickrs making….Explore. Go on give it a try..Version: 4.17.22

Still my fav photo siteLots of positives. Though I wish they’d drop the infinite scroll as it’s so hard to return to a spot - pagination is way better. Also wish I could sort results by date as on website. Still, great site!.Version: 4.5.4

FunGood to see so many amazing images.Version: 4.17.29

Great appGreat app, handy to have on iPad but does tend to freeze on full screen viewing. Viewing recent posts for those I follow and explore seems easier on this app than on PC. I couldn’t be without it for for leisurely browsing and picture quality ! Whilst it is good to receive comments and read those about others the benefits are lost to automated tags and pointless full page “awards” "…….. could we have a way of removing these so that a conversion can be followed ?.Version: 4.16.26

Solid iPhone and iPad ExperienceMuch improved over the past two years. The app is a fun way to view and interact with friends’ photos. Uploading photos via the Sharing Interaction works great. Room for improvement when adding photos to Groups. Group Discussions would be a fine addition too, but the core experience is still excellent. Great work!.Version: 4.17.25

Social media platformA social media platform that are not offended with nipples and women’s body. This give Artist the freedom to post there creativity.Version: 4.11.2

Love love love FlickrI ve been using Flickr for 5 or 6 years now, I think. Love it’s features. Most of all love the ability to upload full-resolution photos and share them with friends. A request: Flickr needs to allow people to sign up without forcing them to register a Yahoo email account!.Version: 4.11.5

Flickr app is great! The new app is great, you can do much more on this app. But I have got two suggestions. First, could you guys add a function called "Notification Setting", which could allow us what type of notifications to send. Instead send everything. Second, is it possible to add a download button for downloading imagines?.Version: 2.11.858

Easy Photo SharingA quick and easy way to share photos with friends, family, and wider communities. If you want a more personalised, customisable, showcase for your images, go for SmugMug (for example) but for simple sharing, and easy communication between users, this cannot be bettered. It’s also an invaluable research tool with an excellent search facility. My only concern is that the 1000 image limit for free accounts will lead to a major reduction in the material available, which would be a crying shame..Version: 4.11.2

Fab free site without intrusive advertisingRefreshing to use a free website which doesn’t insert large numbers of mostly irrelevant ads into my timeline. Would probably give 5 stars if management of totally private photos was simpler in the web app.Version: 4.8.3

The best social media for photographersImage uploads stay high quality, excellent app design & a flawless experience overall. I recommend Flickr to any photographer looking for inspiration or a place to share/store images..Version: 4.16.14

I Love FlickrLots of interesting photos and scans, especially railway themes. Fun to upload my photos and scans, read reviews and find out if others like them. Love it..Version: 4.17.24

Great photo platform!Flickr is the best online platform for showing photographs. Unlike FB and Instagram, etc, Flickr does not automatically degrade photos when they’re uploaded. It publishes what its subscribers submit. This means the original quality and resolution are maintained. In other words, subscribers have complete control over how their images look. This makes a Flickr pro account well worth having! Highly recommended!.Version: 4.17.27

Love itI like an app i can load and use straight up. Thanks guys for an easy to use app. Just one request. I upload my pix from a desktop folder to my cloud folder. Would love to be able to share from there. I dislike the photos app so tend not to use it..Version: 4.16.23

From amateurs to pros, a great communityWhether you’re just starting out or have eons of experience, Flickr is a great forum both for learning about photography and for discovering the world beyond your ken. I love seeing members’ photos from all over the planet!.Version: 4.12

Flickr is greatIt is a great app. Really useful for another place to store your images and then share only those you want to share. Great groups to join too. I’ve been using it for years as an auto backup for all my photography work - weddings, portraits, business brand photography commercial photography - it’s all here on Flickr automatically. Gives me peace of mind. Groups are great too. And now fits nicely with my smugmug account for my client galleries. Thank you Flickr.Version: 4.14.4

Flickr is my go to online photo app.I have been using Flickr for many years now and I am both happy and feel secure with the way my photos are handled by this service and associated applications..Version: 4.17.20

Thanks FlickrFlickr remains such an awesome platform for sharing images, be inspired, learn new things, and celebrate the diversity of our communities and world. Fantastic. Ease of use and endless storage makes it the best choice. Thanks..Version: 4.17.27

Best For PhotographersFlickr has always been the go-to for photographers. Best photo quality, best organization, best search engine, great storage & backup saves, and with sites like Instagram chasing after TikTok for reels or video clips, Flickr is all there is for photos nowadays. The only reason Id give it 4 stars instead of 5, is personally I wish the interface was modernized a little bit. In my experience, it seems as if Flickr’s headcount is shrinking, which is very bad for photographers wanting to spread their work across the globe, but I think with a remastered version of the site, on mobile especially, it may attract some people back to the site. Just food for thought.Version: 4.16.34

Best everI love it , always have , pretty sure I always will ⭐️🌟⭐️.Version: 4.11.3

Best photo album and storage appI’ve been a Flickr user for what feels like 2 decades straight, on the Pro plan. I absolutely love that I can rearrange the contents of my albums and “set and forget” uploads from my phone to cloud storage in Flickr while on WiFi. Further to this, I can see all the cool things my friends are uploading to their albums, and set privacy on any image I so choose if I am working on a surprise project for one of those friends. Everything is easy to work through once you’re familiar with the process of creating and adding to albums, and I would highly recommend Flickr to friends. Especially friends who photo hoard. :D.Version: 4.12.3

Long-time user 👍“Great place for sharing photos and making friends. Well worth the subscription to get full facilities, great not to have ads and nonsense!” That was the pre-filled review! I would actually agree with it, but was surprised to see it, all the same. Usually people moan when they make changes, so as long as they ensure it works well and without glitches, I’ll continue to be happy. Don’t like having the added extras eg access to print books etc, as that’s not what I want to do..Version: 4.15.16

TonyInaus7You Guys are are doing a good job. One thing, I wish the photos would download a little faster. It seems slow. Keep up the good work, this is the only photo sharing site that I’m on. Oh, one more thing. Explore is little lower standard than before, don’t know what’s changed. Thanks Tony..Version: 4.16.14

PerfectI use flickr a lot, seriously love this app and can’t fault it. A+++.Version: 4.17.25

The bestThe best gets better...Version: 4.17.20

Platform to View Other PhotosI have just started to use my Flickr account. I’m retired in south Florida and have just recently started up my hobby photography once again. Flickr allows me to follow some really exceptional photographers and get great ideas for composition and techniques. It’s great fun to post to my account and watch the views come in. Flickr is attached to my iBird app on my iPhone and having an account to upload to gives me an additional perspective on birding and photography. I’m just having fun; and that’s what retirement is all about. Flickr has made improvements to the program that add to the enjoyment of the site. Thank you..Version: 4.16.27

Awesome appGreat app and site, excellent and easy way to share, show and explore photos.Version: 4.16.14

Best way to showcase photosLovely simple interface that focuses on the uploaded images, as it should be. I’d have given 5 stars but not having an option to set a default landing page on the app is an irritation. I use the app to show others my photos, at present it’s ‘homepage’ is set showing followers or random choice photos that are irrelevant to me, if I need to see others pics I can search them but would prefer to start from my own photo stream..Version: 4.5.1

Flickr is AwesomeI use Flickr to back up my favorite photos and share them with the world. But the user base is so diverse in their interests, that I LOVE to use it as a tool for inspiration. I have even been contacted by several individuals and publications for permission to use my photographs. I do photography simply for the love of it so, I have always said yes and am thrilled that anyone would even ask. The extremely diverse groups are fantastic as well. I have joined a few and have had quite a few requests to share a photo with groups, so I love the social aspect of the app. I wouldn’t change a thing and I really hope that Smugmug treats it with kid gloves and doesn’t make any major changes. It would be sad to see such an excellent app destroyed..Version: 4.8.3

An excellent all-round toolThe app is arguably a better experience than using a web browser on a computer. Search is fast and accurate, getting photo details is quick and easy and communicating with groups and photographers is very easy. Definitely worth a try..Version: 2.01.772

Solid appSolid app, can't get enough of it. Could use some better search functionality like searching by camera used etc like you can on the computer, unless I'm just missing something which is quite possible..Version: 4.0.5

It’s mainly group admistration that is still missingCertainly the Flickr app has improved after Flickr was bought from Yahoo. Flickr’s main problem is outside of its hands, casual users want to post as quickly as possible on other apps, while users who are willing to use dedicated cameras and to put the time to post process their photos use sites like Flickr. Unfortunately, the market growth is with casual users, while usage of dedicated cameras is at best stable..Version: 4.17.22

Perfect platform for photographers.Great app perfectly complementing the website..Version: 4.17.29

An excellent resourceNothing is perfect, but to me Flickr gets close despite the occasional glitches. It’s easy to upload images, easy to set up albums and galleries, easy to change details or replace an image, and best of all it’s easy to search for anything. Sometimes using the map feature is very slow and clunky, and occasionally uploading is a bit slow. But overall it works a lot better than a personal web site does, especially regarding searches. I like it, and hope that the transition to Smugmug doesn’t change it for the worst..Version: 4.7.0

Magnificent !!Lots of spectacular photos ...lots of talented photographers...Love Flickr!!.Version: 4.17.25

The Flickr app makes my online photos greatFlickr has been used by me for about 13 years now and I do enjoy being able to upload photos quite easily, as and when I get time! My albums remain organised, I get to view some amazing public photos which go on to inspire me, and I’ve really enjoyed being able to continue my photo-sharing via the app. It has made things very easy, and I think user experience is a big plus. Constant improvements are always welcome….Version: 4.17.16

Ive been a member of Flickr for many years because it’s peaceful and creative and friendly.I’ve made acquaintances from all over the world, seen amazing photography and regular every day sort of photos that share stories. From my warm acquaintances. I’ve made some close friendships, which I cherish. With Flickr it’s easy to share photos and video. It’s easy to title, write long or short descriptions and to comment. I love being able to makes notes on my photos so that I can name each flower where I tap the curser. Then the notes are seen by others who just run their curser over the screen. I pay a reasonable annual fee to use Flickr all I want without seeing ads. Of course. Flickr is also available free, but with ads. I love it..Version: 4.16.1

Great, focused appFlickr is the best photo sharing platform. It doesn't try to be all things to all people. If you care about your photos and want to share them, Flickr can't be beat. Use your favourite social media app for chit chat but photos go to Flickr..Version: 4.16.19

Professional photographersI don’t claim the title of a professional photographer, but charging money for the app has cleaned the place up and separated the “boys from the men”, so to speak. I like the ability to change your own layout, dates, and even replace images in case you change the edit ! This versatile tool option is helpful for me and it isn’t crawling with attention seeking parasites line mainstream post-2009 social media apps. Hopefully Flickr has a long life ahead of it still! Nothing in life is free and if it is, it’s probably not good for you..Version: 4.16.35

Great Professional AppSimple to use. Simple to access. Quality of the files is maintained and not downgraded..Version: 4.17.21

Great for photography ideasI’d have given this 5 stars only my newly created account was deleted though when I discovered an old account I was able to put back my content and I’m really enjoying using the app. It has great communities and I’m only started and I’ve seen and talked with people i wouldnt have otherwise. It’s nice to get ideas and nice to have your work viewed and liked. For me now this is a great app and I suspect in time I’ll upgrade to the pro version but for now I stay free and hope everything stays as good as it is..Version: 4.17.25

Love this app. This is truly one AMAZING app. Great social networking too. Gotta say it’s a super fun app and great to inspire each other on with our passion for photography.Version: 4.13.4

One of my favourite apps!Nice, speedy and simple, but it is a shame it does not get updated very often..Version: 4.10.1

AmazingAmazing sharing space for photographic artists with a full range of quality photos of anything you’d like to see or be inspired to create your own..Version: 4.15.6

Better than Instagram for browsing a world of photographyWorks similar to Instagram with functions, but search is better, community is more focused on photography, and the files are higher quality..Version: 4.17.22

I have your solution.Flickr is where the new photographers grew .... but this is a very passives website..... time to offer the best platform to sell pictures and time to give money awards by content..... you have no extra option than just publishing the pic and wait to be seen ... you have in your hands the new style of photography use you people budget .. that advantage is sleeping ... it is clear Instagram and face is getting tiring..Version: 4.14.1

Newbie to the appBeen Flickring over 10 years but don’t use app much. But discovering the good side of it recently. View/comment on the fly when you have a few minutes here and there to spare is fantastic..Version: 4.16.18

Now is the chance to move and start againI forgot about Flickr I’m sorry, but already vastly superior to Instagram and I’m saying if you see this, now is your chance to get people to move from Instagram, people are tired and they’re annoyed. We just want a place to post photos with an easy and clean interface and free from spam posts and try hards. Start going for it Flickr I feel a lot of artists and photographers are going to make the switch, I’ve been looking and I feel Flickr can be it since it has a decent amount of users already and the vibe seems to be what I’m looking for. Also I might add it seems pretty much unchanged from when I had an account years ago so thanks..Version: 4.15.13

Flickr is where it’s atForget Instagram… Forget Facebook… Forget all those other websites that let you share photographs with other people… Flickr has it all: professionals, amateurs, enthusiasts, poets, collectors, artists, scientists, universities, skaters, pranksters, people wishing to simply post pictures of whatever it is that entices them… The list goes on… And it’s done simply, without bells or whistles. Post, leave a description (or not) and then move on. If you like someone’s work, like it and/kr leave a comment. Easy. A picture paints a thousand words. It was the first big picture sharing web platform, starting in 2004 (same year Facebook started)… And it’s kept itself simple and to the point: it’s all about sharing pictures… As a Ansel Adam’s once wrote, “Photography, as a powerful medium of expression and communications, offers an infinite variety of perception, interpretation and execution.” This is what Flickr is all about… If you like taking pictures and want to share simply with others, without getting caught up in social media gybe, and scope some serious talent, this platform is probably for you. 📸🎥💡🎑🌃🎆🌁🌉🌅.Version: 4.16.17

Love it!The original & the best photo sharing community. It’s always a pleasure to be on Flickr. The interface may not be as slick as some others but the developers and community are dedicated to quality, beauty and sharing in truly positive way. Thank you!.Version: 4.16.40

GoodGood.Version: 4.17.20

Awesome, but a bit slow on Sprint's 3G iPhone 4SGreat app, but I have issues being able to see/change the privacy function and album options while uploading images on my iPhone XSM. The functions and options are covered by the keyboard that automatically pops up at the bottom of the screen and there is no way to make images private when uploading. This means that I would have to upload images, go back into my photos, locate the recently uploaded images, select each image and change the options there. Way too many steps and when you used to be able to do it on the fly during upload. Of course I can always just access it from a desktop and change them faster, but that defeats the purpose of the app. Can this be revised on the next update please??.Version: 4.10.1

Photo sharing and archive for serious shootersFlickr is the best platform for serious photographers. None of that "crop to a square" Instagram garbage. No censorship on Flickr! Instead they have intelligent filter options so YOU can post & see the photos you want to see. Flickr has the ability to replace an existing photo with a better version without deleting all the comments and likes. The Groups are very supportive and moderated. You can also upload directly from your phone just like Instagram & snapchat. But these are full resolution uploads and YOU set the copyright protection..Version: 4.16.37

Love it butI use Flickr to upload photos I’ve taken and so other people can access them but also to back up my photos from my camera roll. It used to be so that people could directly download images from an album link full res but I think they took that feature away which I wasn’t happy about. Bringing back that ability would be very helpful. My friends screenshot my photos from the link and the quality is always pretty low. Also, when I’m backing up my camera roll photos, it gets stuck towards the end and doesn’t upload. It’d be helpful if that could be fixed as well. Overall, I love Flickr and I use it very frequently..Version: 4.7.1

Great appI tried several photo apps. Flickr was my favourite. Very generous free storage and doesn’t reduce the resolution of my photos..Version: 4.5.4

Cuba Gallery Flickr Mobile ReviewI have been using the new flickr iPhone app for a few weeks now and love it. There doesn't seem to be any bugs and the new design is really fresh. My favorite screens are the new home page, which now shows the number of followers, and also the image info/exif data screens which have a really nice infographic style. Love it, thanks flickr:).Version: 3.0.1

Seriously goodIf you like photography you’ll love Flickr. I’ve seen so many great images from around the world on this site. A visit daily is a must for me..Version: 4.17.25

The best optionIt is expensive (relative) and uploading sometimes isn’t the smoothest over the years and there is the fear that it won’t be around forever. But let’s be honest, it is currently the very best site for browsing your photos online with the ability to download full resolution jpeg at least. None of the other options come close and it is completely ad and clutter free if you pay for it. And free people browsing your paid account also won’t see ads. Also a ton of extremely talented photographers on here if you get bored looking at your own or just need some inspiration. It is also very good for checking out different lenses..Version: 4.15.16

Great!!Keep up the good work.Version: 4.12.6

SuperMagnifique.Version: 4.17.29

Best place for proper photosFlickr is a great mix of photography platform with a bit of social media connectivity. The look is very easy on the eye, and it’s a great way to share original sized DSLR images. The various levels of sharing, from fully public to just friends or family means you can control who sees or can download, what. The free version is fine, but will eventually limit the keen photographer. Worth paying for unlimited storage if, like me, you just take way too many photos!.Version: 4.16.19

Flickr provides me my muse for paintings.I get on almost every night to see what my favorite photographers have posted. They inspire me! These artistic people remind me that the sky can be purple, orange, dark grays, and even pink... That water moves, the grasses bend, the mountains- while great, they fade into the distance.... The animals have emotions and these emotions can be clearly seen in their expressive faces and body language. I have studied Lion paws, cast shadows, water splashes, light through leaves, hollowed out logs and trees.... I can not tell anyone enough how much I have learned from this site and from all the photographers who are generous enough to post their amazing work!.Version: 4.12.3

Happy UserFor all types of photos from family, travel, relationship to plain bizarre I find the app easy to use and a joy to view and show the photos at a later time. On a developmental note I look forward to being able to see the relationship levels in both directions (friends or family or plain follow) when using the app as opposed to having to revert to the pc version. But a minor matter that does not warrant losing a star..Version: 4.5.2

Great Photo App - Keeps Getting BetterI've been using Flickr for many years and it keeps getting more impressive. It works seamlessly across platforms (in my case MacBook, PC, iPad and iPhone) with easy navigation and genius ways of keeping my photographs organised and searchable. Sharing photos is easy. I have albums which family or friends have access to and others which are public. People viewing my pictures have the option to see them in full resolution rather than only being able to view them in small, reduced quality squares. Flickr has also built a friendly, helpful community of photographers of all abilities which can be a great source of encouragement and information..Version: 4.16.28

Very good but it can be awesomeVery lovely app that will let you access your flicker account easily but it can be much more better if gives you full control of settings and a bit easier access to people and friends photos. Also it would be better if gives easier access to notifications..Version: 3.2.6

FlickerFantastic not only to share your photos but also for storage so your pictures are always protected. Awesome 👏.Version: 4.8.3

Great app!Particularly following the last update, this is a fantastic app for both sharing your pics and getting inspiration from others' images! Highly recommend it! Easy to use, and works every time..Version: 3.0.2

Enlightening to see such beautiful photosA great app if you enjoy taking photos. You can marvel at how creative people can be and also see and experience what others see around the world. Every photo is different and there are range of beginners like me and professionals whose photographs are simply stunning. Once you start posting your own photos you begin to understand what a pleasure this site is. Try it and see for yourself..Version: 4.14.4

Community and gallery in oneWhile not as trendy as it once was, I’ve met so many talented artists and friends on this platform. It has been a place for me to grow my skills, connect with people and feel welcomed by all range of photographers and creatives..Version: 4.16.36

Flickr a great place to interact with other photographers.I have just had my first 18 months of being active on Flickr and have enjoyed looking at other people’s work and having them look at mine. I appreciate the opportunity to have contacts who share their knowledge and enthusiasm of photography with me and who comment on my work and respond to the comments I make on theirs. I am not aware of any other website like this and I am pleased that someone recommended Flickr to me. April 2020 I am enjoying the new version of Explore, it is far better than the previous one, so good to see quality photography displayed every day..Version: 4.13.6

Never had a problemVery easy to use. I used it for many years and never had a problem. I redirect Facebook and Instagram posts to Flickr so people can see all the lost details..Version: 4.11.4

GREAT APP FOR AMATEUR & PRO PHOTOGRAPHERSI’ve been a photographer for over 5 decades (incl. 4 years as Photo Editor for my college newspaper). I’m an old school photographer and wanted to find an online community with serious photographers, and a website where I can store thousands of photos as an off-site back up. Flickr is exactly what I was looking for. I no longer am a lonely shooter. There are many groups on just about every aspect of photography. One great feature is automatically uploading your digital photos to Flickr. Flickr is also a safe place to upload your photos. I’ve been using Flickr for many years without any problems. I highly recommend Flickr to all photographers..Version: 4.15.0

Great Photo Sharing AppHave been using Flickr for 10 years or more and have uploaded hundreds of photos. The process is very simple and straightforward. It’s also useful to view other photos on the site for ideas and inspiration. You can also join groups on the site so your photos get seen by more people. Finally, the subscription plans are good value for money..Version: 4.17.25

Awesome updateThis is a must have for anyone who's ever used Flickr. Everything about it is awesome. The 1 star reviews here are simply whining about the lack of iPad app - by downloading this and rating it there's a better chance of a great iPad app too.Version: 4.10.1

15 years of useThe only media/sharing site that i have continued to use for over 15 years. Glad that you Don't Fix What Ain't Broke and improved the experience even more. love it long time xoxox.Version: 4.5.2

Flickr does the job!I was able to start uploading and sharing my photos quickly and easily with others in my beginners photography group. Others in the group were able to give me instant feedback and encouragement which made Flickr the ideal tool for me..Version: 4.16.15

ViewingReally easy to use..Version: 4.17.25

App generally good but internet connection bugFor some reason, the app says I have ‘no internet connection’ and won’t work when on mobile connection but works fine on wifi. Edit: just discovered it’s the new ‘private relay’ setting in iOS15. If it’s off the app works fine. Please fix!.Version: 4.16.18

A Great App For Storing & Sharing PhotosReally love this app. I have family living abroad and it really helps me to keep ‘ slap bang ‘ up to date with how my grandchildren are doing and how they are growing. So simple to upload to your 1TB FREE cloud storage, photos from your devices automatically upload if you wish and the great thing is, all photos uploaded automatically are private until you share them. Haven’t seen a better FREE app for photos yet..Version: 4.8.2

The place to improve your photographySee awesome photos and enjoy interacting wth likeminded people..Version: 4.15.14

Finally, this is it!It seems like this app should have been doing things it does a long time ago. But finally the Flickr app is everything it was always meant to be. Automatic uploading of all your photos and videos, 1TB free, and every photo you ever took instantly available in your pocket. Outstanding solution, well done Flickr team..Version: 4.0.1

Flickr is brilliantI adore Flickr. It's a great place to share your images to gauge what people's opinions are. The search function has been improved enormously. It's a useful aid to travel. When browsing images there is sometimes something remarkable which catches the eye. Sometimes a place I had never seen or heard of goes on my list of travel destinations. Such a brilliant idea. All I wish is that people would only put interesting and good photos rather than just everything. Thank god they have dropped the idea of auto uploading everything. It should only be interesting, artistic and things they consider are good..Version: 4.8.3

Flickr is awesomeIntuitive app great for all photos, go pro if you can.Version: 4.16.40

How I Share my photosI love Flickr for sharing my creativity in the way of photography. It also gives me a way of always having a backup of my photos. The Flickr community is always helpful and kind..Version: 4.17.25

Flickr is fantastic!1000 pics for free is good. Thank you. I wish I can afford to go pro, maybe later . Thank you for the platform..Version: 4.16.39

Best FREE photo Storage AVAILABLE!Fantastic for businesses or photographers or anyone who wants people to see certain pictures. There are so many options. You can create albums and sets, making pictures viewable to all, or some... at your discretion. The only thing it needs improvement on is its photo editing package. It used to have a great editing package with Picnik... those were the days! You could blur backgrounds and hide items that you didn’t want showing up and ruining an otherwise beautiful masterpiece. FlickR owner, please bring back the functionality we had with Picnik. We all talk about this online. Let us show you the love again. Make yourself #1 again..Version: 4.8.3

Great!Great platform! There is so much talent and so much to explore. Love it!.Version: 4.17.28

FlickrNothing on the Internet beats Flickr for storing and sharing photos. Digital photography and Flickr go hand in hand..Version: 4.17.29

Fantastic app for keeping for image entertainmentThis app keeps me in touch with my page while also seeing what the rest of the Flickr world are posting! Well laid out and easy to navigate!.Version: 4.7.0
