I was hoping for a tuner that actually listens to the strings and tells you flat or sharp, but instead it actually plays the notes and you tune your strings to the notes. But it works surprisingly well. I have a super-sensitive acoustic 12-string (pain to keep In tune, even with my perfect pitch) that I actually tune to standard tuning, and this app helped me get the tuning down perfectly in under a minute. This app is very bare-bones. No config, no nothing. Just tap the string you want to tune, and you'll hear a sampled guitar string tuned to the proper note. I had no trouble running this on my 16-gig iPhone 4 w/iOS 6. Don't know why others had trouble.
