✓ PerfectJust make sure you follow instructions and the egg WILL be perfect: 1) Put eggs in cold water 2) Bring to hard boil THEN start timer 3) When the timer goes off, immediately remove eggs and RINSE IN COLD WATER. ✓ Works perfect, eggs just right all the time.Tip: always start with the water boiling, cooking from cold leaves more margin for error. If you put your egg into boiling water your eggs turn out great and they don't crack nearly as often as people think they do. ✓ BOIL WATER FIRST!!I tried it like the instructions said and they turned out hard(not runny like I wanted). I tried again but this time BOILING THE WATER FIRST and then adding the eggs. However, one trouble was that once I reached "hard-boiled", my second egg (the first one having been taken out at "soft") was still slightly soft in the middle. From getting the size of the egg to selecting whether it is at room temperature or kept in the fridge. ✓ Perfection!An extremely well designed and thoughtout app, Ive used this app 9 times to boil an egg, and the egg has been perfect every time, ranging from soft to medium. I can't find fault with the app at all. I love the fact you can measure the egg on the screen, great idea! Ive tried all the other egg timers in the app store and this is my favorite. My only suggestion would be, maybe in the next version possibly add some animation to the GUI, and you would wipe the floor with the competition..Version: 0

✓ Best Breakfast Eggs EverBought this earlier this morning and used it straight away. The eggs ALL came out perfect. Straight forward and quick to get started (I'm sure the altitude will be the hardest part for most people). We cooked 4 eggs that needed to be soft and soft to hard and it covered both requirements without fail. Not a cracked shell in sight either! I love this app!! It's perfect. You'll never be disappointed with your boiled eggs again. Top tip: if you are having 2 eggs and want the texture the same, take the 2nd egg out a little before the timer goes off as it will continue to cook as you eat the first one..Version: 1.3

✓ Fantastic!Curiosity led me to purchase this app thinking it would be fun for a while but eventually turn out to be a breakfast disaster.. Completely wrong on my part, I now have perfect boiled eggs every time! The altitude meter does have the option to use your current location through GPS - I'm not sure if it's just where I live (in New Zealand) or if it's the app but it's very slow. If you have a rough idea of your altitude then just dial it in, or look it up on the internet, because it takes longer for the app to get your location than it does to cook a hard-boiled egg!! But apart from that little snag, very thoughtful and handy application to have if you love dipping toast soldiers into soft runny eggs! 5 Stars!.Version: 0

No Multi-tasking tho!My only gripe about this App is that there is no Multi-Tasking Support, so when you receive and read a text message, your App's timer freezes until you re-enter the App! HUMM! Frustrating and will spoil your eggs. Luckily I tested this function out before starting my first attempt! Otherwise a Good App that works VERY well! I agree with one of the reviewers about having to boil the water first and then start the timer. I tend to just put the eggs in cold water, bring them up to the boil and start the timer when the water starts to boil. Works fine for me.
