✓ Slick interface, poor contentThis app is very polished and the sound files are clear (having the nice feature of both a man and woman reading each word/phrase), and the games seem like they might actually be good to learn from. However, the choice of words is odd - when did "elbow" or "strawberries" become critical language? It's not tailored at travellers, but also not at people want to be able to speak fluently. It also uses different words to Lonely Planet's phrase book, FWIW. Slick app, but probably wouldn't have bought in hindsight..DrJoelVersion: 0

✓ Excellent way of learning the languageThis has given us a fun way to learn Quechua, using audio, pictures, written words and games together is excellent. However more vocabulary etc would make this even better, and for the price would be expected really. The sounds of the letters, more useful words and commonly used phrases, and sentences and other info would be really helpful. ✓ Way overpriced for what it is! Avoid unless it gets an overhaulI bought this app as it is one of the few that focuses on Quechua. However I must say that I am very disappointed with my purchase. For the $9.99 price, the content is extremely superficial and covers only a handful of sample phrases as well as some trivial amounts of vocabulary (colors, numbers, etc...). No explanations on grammar are provided (which would be very useful for an agglutinative language such as Quechua). So, even after using this app you will not be much further ahead in learning how to compose your own sentences based on the very limited vocabulary you can pick up via this app. In its current state, I'm not sure that this app would be a good deal even at $0.99.
