Going skiing or snowboarding this winter? Download trail maps from your favourite ski resorts to your iPhone and use the built-in GPS to find your way around the slopes or track your activities.
The best thing is that you don't need an active internet connection, just download the maps you'll need in advance and everything you need on the slopes is right there on your iPhone. If you do have an internet connection available however, you can display webcams from Windy.com on the piste maps or check the weather forecast at your favourite resort.
SkiMaps is now also available on iPad, a great tool for making plans for your next trip!

✓ When to Glencoe and Gleenshee in scotland and this worked a treatWhen to Glencoe and Gleenshee in scotland at the weekend and this app preform perfectly. The GPS located worked every time, where as a leading name in navigation failed every time in Mayrhofen last month. The maps data was an exact copy of the official resorts maps so was all good, again unlike the leading name that used a 2d map that was impossible to navigate Have used this app on at least 6 holidays now and worked good. If your map is not listed then just email the developer and he will add it within a day or two or at least He did for me. Based on my ski trips I would recommended this to everyone..Version: 1.6
✓ Superb service, high quality mapsRequested resort, 2 days later resort added. Developer even apologised for not getting back sooner! Superb service. Resort I'm going to is only basic GPS due to "lack of geographical data", can't fault the developer for this though. Will update when home as to how precise the GPS is. 5 star app due to brilliant service and good quality, easy to read, high vis maps. Can't complain for 59p!.Version: 0
