✓ No app I found works so wellFantastic. I have paid over 6 pounds for apps half as useful. I record health info on different cals and I can record really easy and compare data on the days eg make a symbol for mood and see correlations to say medication taken. ✓ Blows Away Company's Own AppI loved xoCal but colorCal+ is like having an UNLIMITED number of xoCal apps on my iPhone. The same easy way of just swiping to add and delete marks is still there. xoCal only had two marks and a dozen or so "colors" (calendars). Only TWO marks, no matter what color, could be used on any one calendar day. colorCal+ lets you create UNLIMITED calendars and colors, each with five marks that you can customize to mean whatever you want, so you could have dozens of marks or events on any one calendar day. And it lets you look at a view that displays one or FOUR months and shows all the marks from ALL the calendars. And you can sort and search for marks, calendars, or dates. colorCal+ even lets you back up or share your calendars with others something that xoCal could never do. So, if anybody just wants to recreate xoCal, just add as many calendars as you want in whatever colors you want, and just use two marks, X and O, for each color. But they would be really missing out on the power of colorCal+. It is really rich to read review comments from those who got xoCal at one time for FREE (or even for a buck or two), and used it DAILY for YEARS, and then complain about paying a couple bucks for an app from the SAME developer that blows away and makes obsolete one of their own apps..Version: 1.82

I bought the xoCal prior to this because it was the best there was at the time, and this app is 100 times better (xoCal was worth the $). ✓ Colorcal+calendarI looked through hundreds of apps to find one that would serve my needs,I ran across this calendar and was amassed by how much it offers "Just Incredible". I use this for a look ahead on my schedule no other app has this feature that I know of. It is a Great to make your own marks to identify your scheduling needs,and on top of this reviewI had a request of the author to make a change to benefit me even more,and he did the change with light speed and without hassle. This app is superb , easy to pick up and use straight away, kept everything simple and straightforward & everything is customisable . ✓ Colorcal+ CalendarI think this is a great calendar. I hope the developer considers adding some upgrades such as: - adding the ability to set times and alerts and with that ability being able to view the calendars in day view showing times and week views when you want it - enabling you to change the colors of individual marks withing each calendar - enabling you to choose specific calendars to not show in the "All calendar view" I will use the regular calendar that comes with the IPHONE for the above mentioned items, however this is a great app to get an overview of your calendars..Version: 0
✓ After years of use, I still like it.Update February 2020: After using this app for several years, I’ve grown to like it more than the original app it replaced. It has more functionality regarding multiple activities on the same day. I use it mainly to track my schedules work activities which can vary a lot depending on the week. But I also use it to remind myself to not let my work schedule interfere with life when there’s an event I need to be part of. Also, this app allows for a LOT more customization for what you need .. event titles, colors, special notes, etc. You can add as many as you like. The determining factor is being able to make your event’s colors different enough that you can distinguish one from another. The only real complaint I have is the lack of instructions, but if you use it enough, it all makes sense and works well. I recommend this app. Like so many others, I got this because xoCal stopped working with a recent iOS update .. So I decided to ignore the negative comments and chance it. In a nut shell, it works. Not great, but it works. I give them a 4 for the effort .. Problem is they tried to do too much with the app. I give them a 2.5 for the execution. It almost appears that whomever created this app didn't really USE the app to make sure it works well, flows well and is user friendly. I give this a 1.5 for not being very user friendly. I'd give it a big fat 0 for the lack of directions and the complete oddity of how some functions work .. Or don't work. I'd like to give examples of why there are problems, but without having the app open and walking through the issues step by step, I can't describe the issues .. Which are many. I personally think they tried to do too much and rather than add to the app, it just overwhelms the app and takes away from the experience and usability. If xoCal worked perfectly for you, you have the time to figure out how this app works, you have the mental capacity to remember how this app works if you haven't used it for a while and you don't mind having to jump thru the occasional small hoop to get what you want, I recommend this app. Though it feels like a beta and leaves a lot to be desired, it works okay as a replacement for xoCal..Version: 2.0
✓ This worksIt's true that this is a bit more complicated than the old xoCal, but people who relied on that color format will be pleased to know that it works almost the same way (even a little better) once you take the time to set it up. ✓ An interesting app.There are more options than the "years" application, but the user interface is less clear. I'm not a fan of the color scheme used, but you can change colors used in the app. The most important thing you have to know is that you can not see several calendars is the year view, which limits the power of the app. However, the author informed me (and I saw a demo) that this functionality will be available in the next update). By the way, the support is very responsive..Version: 0
✓ Almost PerfectThanks for a great app which has become part of my daily routine. Is very easy to setup and use. And with a bit of work can track back and do a bit of analysis on my day to day life. As per the other reviewer need to be able to delete and edit notes - would consider the number one update needed. As an added feature, adding graphs would polish it off too. Under current setup would be a mess but if an option was added to limit entry of chosen calendar's to one mark per day, then these calendars could easily have monthly line graphs & pie charts. Line graphs with X at the bottom and Star at the top. And pie charts showing percentage of make usage compared to others. If added being able to choose the period of the chart - week, month, year, custom - would be ideal. If both requests above ever get added I'll be back here giving this 5 stars!!.Version: 0
✓ Almost perfectThis app is so close to perfect. Great app team. Xo makes the best calendars and I love u guys for listening to your buyers. What would complete this app in my opinion is the option to edit the calendar while in the "all calendar" full color mode. I have both this app and your xo calendar ( I'm a fan ). However I still prefer xo as I can edit the calendar while comparing other colored events. Otherwise please make it so I can see the other colored events while adding events of one color. ( I hope u know what I mean ). This is because it would be useful to be able to observe what days I'm working ( blue color ) while adding in my holidays ( green color ). At the moment I have to keep switching back and forward from all calendar to this. Secondly. Optional syncing to the iPhone stock calendar would be nice. ( for some users ). ✓ ColorCal+CalendarI really like this app! A major point besides its flexibility and simplicity, is that it doesn't sync with any other calendar. I've got enough of those!! You can make as many personalized calendars as you want, and color code them each as well. I have to give you people 5+ stars on this one. Well done!.Version: 1.82
