✓ Incredibly powerful, but keeps crashing on exportWhat an amazing app. I love using this for my designs, it is intuitive and incredibly powerful. One major issue I’ve been facing is when I try to export the image, the app crashes almost instantaneously while it is “preparing” the export. Well, what is the point of going through all of the hard work of designing if I can’t even get it off the app? Hope this is fixed soon!.Version: 3.4.2
✓ Poor multitasking supportWhen the new update says improved multitasking, I was quite excited as split view is the only missing feature in Affinity Designer. So I gave Graphic another try. ✓ Please update, getting buggyHasn’t been updated for a year and it shows. Repeatedly having to restart iPad and relaunch app. Lags sparodically - but badly - when opening and saving different documents. Having to save and reopen to ensure work is retained is a significant impediment to the creativity this app previously provided. If it’s headed for the graveyard let us know, it has been indispensable on Mac, iPad and iPhone, but ready to abandon it due to frustration with basic open and save functionality. ✓ Please update your appThe amount of bugs in this thing are really piling up. Bugs - Fix your iCloud sync PLEASE. The files get stuck uploading and in some occasions disappear entirely deleting hours of work. - When a file is renamed it doesn’t update in the previewer, and when selected and opened it causes the program to crash. - Saving doesn’t always work, and reverts to a previous version of the file. Update recommendations - An update that allowed the user to create their own template and add it to the template chooser would be amazing. - Snapping to grid works great, however, support for the brush to snap to grid lines would be revolutionary. (Seriously no one else does this except Concepts and they’re not vector based...) If you guys sorted these issues out and introduced those recommendations Id pay triple for your app. Please please update this thing.Version: 3.5.2
✓ Used to be great…..now old and unsupportedThis used to be my go to vector app. Worked brilliantly when it first came out. Unfortunately the app is now 5 years old and hasnt had an update in a long time. IOS has moved on but this app hasnt, and its resulted in constant crashes rendering much of it unusable. ✓ IPad OS version neededI have been a loyal user Graphic through its numerous iterations and found it to be excellent for all my requirements. With the new iPad operating system it has developed a number of faults. Buttons not working, crashing, failing to update the selection menu and going into “downloading” mode for 10 or more minutes after saving. ✓ Has a few pretty bad bugs.If you group items and try to erase any of the lines from the grouping the entire canvas collapses to 0 pixels and your entire drawing and layers are all completely destroyed. You then need to exit without saving, which erases all work you’ve done since last exiting the drawing which can be hours of work. ✓ Very Useful AppI design jewelry and other produceable art, and use iDraw, almost exclusively to develop those designs. Not only is it an excellent iPad tool, but iDraw has a fully compatible version that runs on my MacBook. So, I'm able to work on my designs at home or on the go! I highly recommend iDraw if you need a high quality vector drawing program. I’m updating this review, because “iDraw” has changed hands a couple of times; it is now named “Graphic”. I still use it on both my iPad and macBook; and I still believe it to be one of the best, most intuitive, and feature-rich vector drawing apps I’ve encountered. However, it has not been updated in over THREE YEARS! Probably due to changes in the OS, the app now crashes often. One crash, which the developers know about, is that opening a drawing, after renaming it, causes an immediate app crash. There are other (seemingly unpredictable) scenarios in which the app crashes … wiping out all work since the latest save. Naturally, these crashes are extremely frustrating; and, without any auto-save feature, I’ve become “paranoid” and interrupt my workflow to save any non-significant changes The current development team has not responded to repeated requests to address these issues. ✓ Program doing things I don’t ask for.I have made several attempts to email about this issue and the support tab no longer works in the drop down menu. Each time I open the app it opens files from months ago that have not been altered. When you finally get to create a new file it creates a new document with random numbers generated. After working in the app for a few minutes it makes all of the work “disappear “ along with the sheet size if you save and reopen you can see the work but after a few edits it continues to do the sam thing over again. ✓ Missing basic featuresNo lasso selection tool! Very difficult to select items. No dedicated I-pencil support. Palm keep drawing lines when resting on screen using pencil. Microsoft Paint had a lasso tool in Windows 3.1.1 in 1995. I hope that this program adds a tool that can identify the borders of an item and allow me to copy it, crop it, or delete it would be available by now. I thought this was standard 20 years ago. For example if I had a small black star drawn inside a large blue circle I would expect a lasso around the blue circle to copy to the edge of the blue circle and encompass all of the interior including the black star but if I were to use the lasso inside of the blue circle but outside of the black star, the lasso would select the edge of the black star only and no portion of the blue circle would be selected. Even better if your edge detection could grab onto items with sight variances in shade. Such as a wheel in a photo of a car, or a picture frame in a photo of a wall of picture frames..Version: 3.4.1

✓ Pencil gap between Apple Pencil contact point and actual lineEven after the latest improvements for Apple Pencil. There is a huge gap when u start drawing, the actual drawing line starts off far from the actual contact point. Some sort of delay or not being detected. It does not auto-save work, so I’ve spent many hours redoing work that was lost to the app crashing. I don’t want to have to back out of the drawing to save it every five minutes. ✓ What ARE YOU DOING TO THIS APP!It was running smooth as silk. Now, it freezes. You can’t change parameters or geometry of the canvas or any portion of your work to a specific number. Pasted graphics are gone once you close out the program and reopen it. (You know, like taking a break you come back and all your work is missing.. insert angry swear words here) And after saving, the program just sits and spins until you close out and open it again. ✓ A good work in progress!So why 2 stars? When I downloaded this app, it was exciting. But it has flaws. At the time, I wanted to work through them because it was promising to be able to design on my iPad Pro. After closer to 6 months without an update, the patience is wearing thin and the flaws are grating. Don't buy until Autodesk commits to a mobile strategy properly (3D design on mobile, not just viewers - frequent updates to updates of purchased companies apps) Current major detractors are: - No path merging support (combining objects works well enough though) - Poor gradient fill options - No SVG or AI export - No support for multiple artboards (or relevant exporting options obviously) - No super loupe for better selection on a touch interface - Poor keyboard shortcut support (copy & paste works-ish, but delete doesn't work, shift selecting doesn't work). - Poor split screen support (frequently renders the view as full screen, leaving half the UI hidden under the second app or off screen. Obviously, I don't expect all bugs to be fixed next week. More frequent updates with new features, or more communication from Autodesk about future plans with their new IP wouldn't hurt though..Version: 3.1
✓ Losing hours of work despite savingI have been using this product for a few years. Until recently it has been pretty good. Over the past few weeks I have been working on a home design. Unfortunately I have lost over 12 hours of work over the past week. After the first couple of times I started backing up every 30 minutes. Despite this precaution I just lost over 7 hours of work even though I saved repeatedly during that time. This morning it came up with an old save with multiple layers and other changes missing. ✓ Good idea but keeps crashing and export doesn’t work.Works reasonably well once you work out it’s foibles, but constant crashing when trying to rename or export as pdf makes it frustrating. Lost over an hours work when first trying it out. The crashing is random too. Sometimes I can rename work other times it crashes. No obvious print ability as it says exporting but does not give printer option so no idea where it went but not to my default printer, hence trying to export as pdf but can’t as it crashes. ✓ Undo crashes - A LOTThis app looks like it could be extremely useful. Unfortunately, the very first thing I tried was to create a gradient using a box. Didn’t like the original result, pressed undo and the app crashed. Reloaded, tried the same thing, crash. The only “special” thing I have is the keyboard attached to the latest 12.9” iPad Pro. ✓ Disappointed by lack of active developmentI used this app on macOS a few years ago. It was my favourite vector tool. Unfortunately, the iPad version does not live up to the fond memories I have of using its macOS counterpart. This version is not actively maintained with many outstanding bugs. For example, the most frustrating bug for me is the inability to edit text when double-clicking with a mouse! What is most disappointing, however, is that no one seems to be listening to users and actively trying to improve the user experience of the app. There are many suggestions I could make to the development team, but unfortunately, I think they would fall on deaf ears. ✓ A car crash of an appI’ve installed this app on a brand new iPad Pro, and every time I build up a number of fairly simple objects (approaching 500), the app crashes and I lose all unsaved work. The crash begins with a massive slowdown of the app to the point of un-usability, with massive delays between select and action, after which the app crashes. What a waste of my time this has been. It’s thoroughly depressing that such a promising but ultimately flawed app is being hawked on the Apple Store. ✓ Best for illustration but has issuesThis is the best vector art illustration program I have found for the ipad. Works smoothly and has a nice set of features. I would recommend it over the others if you are looking to do drawings and art instead of precise logos or such. But the software has many issues. For starters it can be crashy, especially when the piece has many objects. I have (cumulatively) lost hours of work from the crashing issues. Saving often is not a good solution because saving kicks you out to the gallery and you lose all your undos. Another issue is that the software isn’t really built well for use with Apple Pencil. The software has a lot of guessing and assuming what the user is trying to select which can override where I am precisely pressing with the pencil. It also constantly thinks my figures, which I am using for resizing, are instead using the selected tool. There are more issues like how I wish I could customize the tool menu or how selecting objects many times will depend on which object is above the other. ✓ This is horribleIt crashes constantly, even saving my work instantly it is frustrating & a waste of time & definitely NOT WORTH 11.99 ITS CRAP to which, I just purchased this a week ago & I demand a refund, complete garbage app! and now when you save work every step because it crashes CONSTANTLY!!
