Graphic for iPad for Positive User Reviews

A real vector solution for iPadIf you've been looking for a real equivalent to Illustrator for iPad, this is it. As close to fully-featured as you could ask for $9, Graphic has been able to do everything I need to do in terms of vector work on a tablet. You can even import fonts via Dropbox and edit type. I nearly bought a Surface Pro or a Cintiq just to have a tablet OS that would support Illustrator. Instead, for a very small cost, I can now draw on my 5 year-old iPad using a generic stylus. Amazing..Version: 3.4.2

Does what it says it can do, very good app, but.Despite the regular crashes, the App has legs and I can continue using this great app for years to come, I downloaded this app years ago when it was iDraw. The apps last update was over 4 years ago, definitely in need of an upgrade, but still works for me. My Previous Review: Got this app on my birthday, nearly 6 years ago (idraw). I’ve spent many hours using this app and never had any issue’s. Learning how to use and get the best out of the app is just as good as putting a project together. I alway’s find reasons to use the app and it’s great for exporting other projects into. I highly recommend this app it’s been a great servant..Version: 3.5.2

Great technical drawing appThis is a good app. It hasn’t seen much update over the last few iOS releases, but it works. It will occasionally pause, but if I exit the app and return it works fine and carries on. I’m using an Apple Pencil 2 with it and I’m able to create and print accurately scaled drawings which can be used for drilling and cutting parts from materials. I’ve also created libraries of shapes for electronic schematics and layout. Works great!.Version: 3.5.2

Fantastic!Works great! I use it to save directly to dropbox, and embed figures into my tex files (with tex writer). So intuitive and easy, and the results are great. Works better than the creative suit on my laptop for which I paid- well, you don't want to know how much... I love it! Wish it had the scissors tool though!.Version: 1.6

RonaldI have recently downloaded this programme and am happy with the results I have achieved in little time. It is user friendly and ideal for onsite drawings and projects..Version: 1.2.2

Great but . . .I love this app. It’s the only app I use to design stickers and apparel. But could we please get an update? It’s been two years since it was last updated and every time my iPad software updates the app gets buggier and buggier. Now it’s gotten to the point where it crashes and I have occasionally lost hours of work. And it no longer recognises font profiles. Please give the app the once over and remove any bugs!.Version: 3.5.2

Really Exceptional SoftwareI have worked professionally in the TV graphics industry for more years than I care to remember, and I find this application absolutely superb. It is very flexible, robust and is the best yet that I have found, for doing graphic and illustrative work on an iPad. Among other things, I use it in my work for the higher education sector and it is exceptionally good value for money..Version: 3.4.3

Decent vector drawing toolI've bought several of the iPad vector drawing apps, and this the most intuitive to use, by far. There's a good selection of tools, and (almost) everything works smoothly and easily. This app is a little like omnigraffle, and enjoyable to use. The app crashed occasionally, but it's an early release. There's no 'save' per se, but leaving the document and then returning does a save point, protecting the drawing up to that point from crashes. I like this app, and in combination with sketchbook pro, will be able to get all my drawing/designing done quickly..Version: 0

I just love this appBefore retiring, I worked at a newspaper for 45 years, most of the time as a graphic artist. When the computer age came into the business, I used many, many different software programs to do my work. All high-end, state-of-the-art. GRAPHIC, IMO, is the best app for graphic design, closest to what I used at work and most intuitive of all the apps I’ve tried on my iPad mini. I am able to use most of its features without using the tutorials, but I certainly go through those to get the most out of it. It’s just perfect for the kind of illustrations and art I do for my astronomy/telescope hobbies. Thanks very much!!! (I have to add, what makes it even better is that it’s not a subscription. I detest subscriptions and as soon as I see an app is one, I move on. Recently, I was desperate for a design app and had to sign up for a subscription. They offered, one month, six months and a year. Im absolutely sure I chose one month because that was all I needed. The bill was for six months! It will be cancelled and never used again).Version: 3.5.2

This is the best vector drawing program for the iPad so far!I would give this five stars if it could read Illustrator files directly from DropBox - then work flow would be seamless!!.Version: 1.1.2

Great but a few bugs on iPadI love this programme. Great for vector drawing. It’s been useful for designing floor plans, technical instruction sheets, wedding stationary. However there are a few bugs that need fixing. For example, when changing the font on the keyboard, it closes, you have to use the font setting in the top menu instead. There are a few other things like when I open a page at preset a4, it also just closes but you can manually add the dimensions to get around it). It’s great programme but need a bit of an update and bugs fixing after 4 years!.Version: 3.5.2

Please add option to save jpg more than 300dpiNeed images to save more than 300 dpi.Version: 3.3.1

IDraw just keeps getting better.IDraw is my most used app. After many updates it has become a very capable, especially after the last update with the new multi-layer functions. Can't wait for the next update to see what the IDraw team give us..Version: 2.1.1

Crashes when exporting in 300dpiApp crashes when you try to export at 300dpi. Very disappointing when you need it for printing.Version: 3.5.2

Still the best, but maybe time for an update??I still use this app a lot, but I just noticed - no update for 3 years?! Graphic still has several advantages for me over vectornator, but could do with some enhancements..Version: 3.5.2

Excellent Adobe Illustrator replacementI’m a 10+ years Adobe Illustrator user. I have been looking for a viable replacement for 2 motives, one was the price and the other because I wanted to start using my iPad Pro more actively in my designs. I do technical drawings for patents and some illustrations for logos and trademarks. This app is fantastic. it does everything I needed it to do. I did had some questions and I tried to contact customer support thinking that I was going to get the answer in a couple of days. I got the response back in about 15 minutes with a full explanation on how to use some of the features I had questions about. Koodos to these guys!, great software and great service. I have never rated an app with 5 stars until today!.Version: 3.3.1

Support is goodI see complaining reviews from a couple of years ago but I sent a technical question to “support” and got a good reply with instructions within 2 hrs. And a weekend at that. Very Good..Version: 3.5.2

PerfectEasy to use but with a full feature set. I had other drawing programs but they are gone because iDraw has everything I need..Version: 1.2.2

I LOVE THIS APP!!!I adore this app. I use it for everything, from designing for work or just messing around when I get bored. As a graphic designer I love having the capabilities of using across all of my devices. From being able to switch back and forth between my computer and my iPad for the actual designing purposes to making last minute on the fly touch ups on my phone. This app gives me the capabilities to do everything that I need to and more. It is my go to for logos, T-shirt’s, as well as making ads. The only thing that could make it better s if I had the capabilities to separate my work into folders. I do a lot of different things for multiple people and being able to separate things into folders right there in the app would make my life so much easier. Would defiantly recommend this app even with the lack of proper organization..Version: 3.5

Love itI can’t understand people who buy the wrong tool for the job and then give it a low rating because of their own incompetence. I use vector software for a living and this is the first app I’ve found that works like my desktop software and isn’t just a vector painting app. No crashing on my I-pad Pro..Version: 3.5.2

Simply the best app for everythingI’m a huge supporter of this app. Its great for fast super productive jobs. Or long stretched client nagging jobs. You can modify your work for any client. I’m an actual paid art director/graphic designer for a company and need to produce 2 to 8 promo ads, posters, web spots and in-store monitor slides a week and this does it all. Once you pick up its capabilities you will fly on this. It has replaced my desktop Mac photoshop suite workspace completely. Works with Apple Pencil too. A bit slippery for that at times but still amazing. It’s the one I use the most for everything and as a basis for all my work. I really hope this app never disappears or I’ll be totally depressed and have to rethink my whole jam. Dudes seriously never stop supplying this app. It’s literally my income. And thank you creators. 🙏.Version: 3.5.2

Great vector based app.The most recent update includes many changes. It’s a great app but there are some things I wish they hadn’t changed. It seems the developers do listen to the customers and improve things that are brought to their attention. I rate it only a 4 out of 5 because I’m not certain that I can use the app the way I used to due to the recent updates..Version: 3.5.2

Until Adobe Creative Suite comes to iOS, This is ITI am not holding high hope for the capability of the Adobe Suite when they finally come to iOS, but this App is helping my iPad Pro to be a laptop replacement. It grabbed an AI file with no problem and recognized the layered objects perfectly. Seems like the latest fix make this app totally usable. Though I can’t do complicated graphics with this, but it does well with what I need it to do. Of course, if it can allow me to import a file into a layer that will be perfect. But, since I can copy the layers from one file and paste them to the one I’m working on, it’s not the end of the world as-is. Great job!.Version: 3.5.2

Working after workAs a graphic designer in the day time. I like to sign off around 7. Chill out downstairs. On the couch with my iPad Pro. Having been using Procreate and fusion for some time for quick ideas, sketches and so on on projects I’m working on in the day that have been somewhat effort in the study, I wondered if there was anything that I could use that might make my next day a little easier. I literally searched vector in the store and this little app appeared. Anyway. THEEE BEST download I’ve made, though perhaps not a sketching and ‘quick idea’ kinda app, it is spot on for working with vectors, shapes and form for logos, symbols, UI and layouts for the next day ahead. If your an Adobe user, but know Procreate, you’ll feel right at home from the get go. A must get app. Nuffff said..Version: 3.5.2

Great Architectural Design appI primarily use this type of app for real world designing of architectural, remodel, cabinetry, furniture. It features the ability to scale drawing dimension to real world dimensions in the traditional method. However it lacks the ability to set simultaneously feet and inches, with applicable fractions. You can set it to label with fractions now, but in construction one reads a tape measure with whole feet, then whole inches, and then fractions of an inch. For example it’s just awkward to read a measurement of 3/8 of a foot, because inches are all 12ths of a foot. Door openings and windows especially need accurate foot and inches, then fractions of an inch. No one in construction will want to see a fraction of a foot, ever..Version: 3.5.2

Fantastic Design Tool - Excellent SupportI have used Graphic for quite a few years and it has become a major design tool. It’s easy to use and robust. Support from the creators is excellent. I would highly recommend the app..Version: 3.4.3

This has become my go to app for image editing on the go. Awesome!I love it. Give us more. I would love to see some sort of selection tool like PS magic wand, but spline based for cutting out sprites or creating masks. Maybe an export/import for Ai files too. I would gladly pay for extra features as in app purchases..Version: 1.2.2

AwesomeI’m blown away with this. Had an aversion to illustrator for years- the learning curve was too steep; and while adobe have a subscription based business model, I’ll never use their product. This app works beautifully with the pencil, awesome. Also, I had a problem adding a photo (it wouldn’t load a photo cropped in the photos app). I emailed support and got immediate attention, and had the issue resolved real-well. They are even working on an update for that issue. I’m extremely happy. Adobe are going to be eclipsed by iPad Pro apps, and rightly so!.Version: 3.2.5

Simplified / Incredibly Powerful! This is an excellent app for vector drawing. I like how clean the interface and menus are. The app generates vectors in a buttery smooth & fast way without any hiccups. I love how I can work with this app at half screen on iPad and have another app on the other side. This is excellent for workflows. This app is incredibly stable imo. I took years away from this app and learned Affinity Designer: while it’s a powerful robust app, it’s not fun, because the UI is not as clean and simple to navigate. AD isn’t really very fast to use in the end. Very complicated. Plus Graphic is on the iPhone, a huge plus for a mobile artist. I’m back to using this app and loving the last update features. It has been a couple of years, will you guys still be supporting this app? It’s truly magnificent, give it a fresh update with some video tutorials and a more modern file manager! I’ve been a fan since the iDraw days…So keep up the excellent work!.Version: 3.5.2

Illustrator for the iPadWow. The power this app gives you is phenomenal. It's not just an app, it's a whole vector creation suite in the palm of your hands. I bought this app to jot down web and application ideas on the go, and I also love tracing my rough cartoon sketches made in Sketchbook. I never thought this would all be possible entirely on an iPad. Amazing! What the app needs is a quick Undo gesture and a snappier workflow. The simplicity of the interface is ingenious, but having to reach over to a static menu for every minuscule step is the only weakness of this app I can find. I really would like to see these ideas considered with the next release..Version: 1.2.2

Have been waiting for an app like thisWaiting for and app like this where you can use vector graphics and transfer to such programs as procreate and photoshop. As well as when transferred the background is transparent! Best illustration program.Version: 2.0

No problems hereNot sure what the issue was with the people who were crashing all the time but mine has been rock solid. Love the app. I was struggling to draw straight lines and boxes in another app and this was the answer..Version: 3.5.2

Very helpful developerI use this app constantly for mocking up web and app designs. I recently reported an issue to the developer concerning the loading of iCloud documents, which had become unreliable after a recent update. The developer responded to my email literally immediately and issued a fix within a matter of days - and over the Xmas and New Year period! What an amazing service!! 5 stars..Version: 3.3.1

Great appI'm using it for technical anatomy drawings. It's really great, using it with the Jot Pro pen has completely freed me from desk top drawing. I'd love to see gradient shading for lines as well as fills. To the developers thanks for all your hard work..Version: 1.5

Great little app for vector illustrationsLove this, it’s basically illustrator for the iPad what’s more to say! I’d like to see a couple more tools like the lasso and magic wand - then it’s 5 stars all the way....Version: 3.5.2

An excellent product for prototype designI’ve been using Graphic for years, even before it changed to its current name. It does everything that I need it to do, in a simple and logical way. The ability to have all the comments and measurements of a design in separate layers is very helpful. But I do wonder whether there will be another upgrade soon, or ever. For some reason emails to the support email address about compatibility with Big Sur remain unanswered..Version: 3.5.2

AmazingPro Illustrator, see my work in Mountaineering: The Freedom of the Hills 9th Edition, published 2017, and other publications. My specialty is technical rock/ice climbing art. Former Art Director at Climbing Magazine. This is an amazing program, and definitely a professional level tool for the iPad Pro and Apple Pencil. Based on my experience using Adobe Illustrator since the early 90’s. I would LOVE to see a 2 finger touch undo added to its abilities. It’s become an instinctive move for me using my iPad to create art in other drawing programs. Please!.Version: 3.3.1

Best Illustrator alternative I have foundI have the iPad & the mac version of iDraw. I would highly recommend both versions as a viable alternative to illustrator. As a Graphic Designer who cannot afford the Creative Cloud, this is the best I have found... & at $12, you can't go wrong..Version: 2.0

Brilliant! This app is fantastic. I am an urban planner and use it for preparing schematic strategic land use maps, as well as just expressing concepts and ideas. When bored, I use for creative sketching. Easy to learn and use, integrates well with other apps. I highly recommend it..Version: 1.3

Mind blowingI have used many vector graphic and other art apps, illustrator, manga, sketchbook pro - idraw has got me! It's ease of use, layers, gradients, effects, the ability to control dimensions in pixels has made it an app that I use every day to create work for my art projects, web sites and icons. I have even stopped using my Wacom cintiq! I cannot recommend it enough. If you guys are thinking about additions, a library of textures would be cool. Wayne Churcher.Version: 1.6

Great but I know this could be betterThere is no masking tool or draw inside mode which I use a lot. The pen tool is pretty smooth and the brush tool is pretty cool too. BUT the pencil tool is not working appropriately. It has smoothing even when I set it to 0%. There is a pretty significant gap between where my apple pencil is and where is line is being marked. The gap appears more when you are using short lines..Version: 3.3.1

Freedom from tyranny!I must thank the developers of Graphic for freeing me from the tyranny of Adobe Illustrator. I gave up Illustrator years ago and have never regretted it. Graphic is a powerful app I can use on both iOS and the Mac which gives me the power I need with a better interface and more flexibility than Illustrator — and at a fair and reasonable price. I love Graphic! It enables me to do so much on just a basic iPad, with professional quality results. I’m a tabletop game designer/developer and I do maps, counters, graphics of all kinds using this program. And they keep improving it! You will not regret this purchase..Version: 3.5.2

BrilliantFantastic app with just about everything you need for vector drawing.Version: 1.6

FINALLY something like Illustrator for iPad :) REALLY!OMG I read the reviews for this app, and like the others, it promises to function just like Illustrator and Corel Draw. I was skeptical. I have 10 apps that said the same thing. HA but it’s Happiness and rejoicing over here instead. THIS IS IT, the reviews are true. Small learning curve and it’s everything Illustrator was. I wanted to cry after I designed my first project. I couldn’t afford a monthly subscription to Creative Cloud anymore and have been in a slump looking for something like this. THANK YOU THANK YOU. They got it right!.Version: 3.4.2

NiceIt's a nice app. It does exactly what it says it does. My only problem with this version is my thumbs when using the Apple Pencil. I keep drawing lines thinking I'm moving around the document. I'm sure it'll be fixed in a later version, as everything else feels nice about it..Version: 3.1

Move aside Adobe IllustratorGreat look, feel and programming that matches Pages and Keynote as a "pro" App. Fast and easy object manipulation and transforms. Nice manual/info. Great font, text handling and align options. All the tools I use in AI are implemented. This is a complete, mature and fully functional App. One of the best tools for graphic designers on iPad. The high quality of this App is why I'm taking time to share my thoughts. Kudos to the developers for this pro App and for all the updates. Thank you!.Version: 1.6

Latest updateUpdate: Having A Hell Of A Time With Closing Gaps. i Make Complex Images And Need More Effective Gap Closing Before Sending Images2 CAD/CAM - Is This Something U Can Help Me With? i Have Snap2 Point On And Guides, But Still When Inspect In Outline Gaps Still Present. Thanks! After updating to latest version at first it worked for a day, then the app would inexplicably lag and freeze. So I uninstalled and downloaded fresh copy. Seems to work better so far. But is app stable? I want to give a five but can't until I'm sure new iteration is stable? This is a workhorse for me. Thanks for listening Graphic, your latest update has done away with some of the issues I had. I would love a gap filler to speed up my workflow. Thanks!.Version: 3.5.2

A Craftsman's viewI have used 'Professional draw' 'Corel draw' and 'Quick Cad' in the past and find that 'Graphic' can be used to replicate most of the features of these old programmes. I still find the drop down menues annoying but with the will to cheat your way through these problems complex engineering drawings and graphic design work is possible on an ipad. I would like to be able to use a stylus so might have to buy an ipad pro. Please 'autodesk' keep developing this excellent application. Latest version (2018)has changed all my drawing dimensions from millimetres to centimetres! Who would find that useful? I can’t find any way of changing them back. All engineering and architectural drawings that I know of are in millimetres. Please sort this out!.Version: 3.5.2

Please updateI am a professional designer and illustrator - I LOVE this app, I use it religiously, I draw on my iPad and upload vector to illustrator to color. But could you please update it. It would be soooo nice if you could rotate the screen while working like procreate. I would pay 5x the price for this if it could be updated a bit ! Thank you to the developers, love the ease of use and the fact that it’s essentially a striped down version of illustrator..Version: 3.5.2

Great appDoes just what it claims. Easy to use. Lots of features..Version: 2.2

Superbly simpleHas all the tools you need, without the bloat of other vector apps. My only gripe is that there doesn’t seem to be a way to set guide lines in the same way that you can in the desktop app. Grids are ok, but they are quite crude in their precision..Version: 3.5.2

5 small steps from perfectI have purchased dozens of design and art apps over the last few years, looking for the best balance of features and simple design. Affinity has the most feature rich apps on the iPad hands down, but the interface is overwhelming for non-professionals. For raster art I usually go with Procreate or Infinite Designer, but Vector apps have been a struggle. If Infinite Design ever comes out on the iPad, that could be a winner, but in the meantime Concepts is the closest I had found to offering Affinity style features in a easy to use interface. But it lacks too many features I needed. (ie, iCloud sync, gradient colors, text around curves, drop shadows, etc) Graphic offers all of the above plus way more features than most of the simple vector apps out there, and it still keeps the interface far more simple to learn than Affinity. It’s the best balance I have found yet. I just have 5 wishes: 1) A lasso tool for faster selection of multiple objects at once 2) A symmetry tool for creating precise mandalas, etc 3) A bigger brush library like Affinity Designer has, with options for things like airbrushes, water colors, charcoal and colored pencil textures, etc 4) A record option for time lapse videos of my creations 5) Ability to share (import/export) custom brushes and shape libraries from other users online. But other than that, it’s the best I’ve found so far..Version: 3.5.2

Awesome AppCan't recommend this any more, than saying it is a must have for any type of vector graphics requirements..Version: 1.5

BravoJ’attendais cette mise à jour avec impatience et c’est au delà de mes espoirs..Version: 3.3

Excellent app with GREAT SUPPORTI use both the MACOS and IOS versions of Graphic, editing my files on both platforms. Works brilliantly, enables me to sketch and save as SVG vector graphic files for driving a vector plotter that I use to draw straight onto etching plates When I encountered a problem (of my own making) & couldn’t figure out what was up, the support team very quickly responded to my email and helped me out. THANKS!.Version: 3.5.2

Keep this app alive with updatesGreat app! Love it. I use it to make graphics before porting it to Adobe AI. Way more control on things than in Adobe Draw. Please keep this app with updates! The only thing missing we can’t use fonts other then system fonts. But its of course predictable. Thank you! Would love to see option to disable drawing with fingers (using fingers for gestures, object controls only). Drawing with pencil. P.S. use it since I got my iPad 2..Version: 3.5.2

God sendI have been using this app for about 7 years, I design kitchens etc, Once you get in to it you can draw anything any ware, I also design adds and promotional material, the only thing I feel this app needs is some online tutorials of how to use it and advance with it. Otherwise I love it 100%.Version: 3.5.2

Intuitive toolI'm finding it really easy to integrate this app into my workflow, with Adobe Illustrator, thanks to the elegant, intuitive interface and file sharing tools. Would be great to see a less cheesy icon!.Version: 1.3

Of course. Its the best. And time and time again i think its an app issue and turns out its a user issue. My old review isnt showing, so here is a new one. Its great. It may take you a moment to get used to it if moving from Illustrator but everything is there. My issues all turned out to be my stupidity. 1. I couldnt get pinch and zoom to zoom to one side of the canvas closeup....if you have this problem, confirm if your ACTUAL CANVAS BOTTOM LAYER is smaller than the image you have on top of it. Some how i resized my canvas to a smaller size than the background image i put in to draw over...glad i figure that out. Hope this helps others. 2. I was having a renaming issue....it was me...dont use / in the filename or it gives you a wonky error message of it already being named that...again..my oops. I cant really think of anything else. It just really works, and you have to realize everything you need is there....it just might take a minute of digging to locate what you need. Keep using it and like every program you will get fast. Im glad this app is available. Thank you!.Version: 3.4.1

Some unpleasant changes quickly fixed! The latest update has fixed some missing controls and overall much better.....Version: 3.5.2

Keeps crashing since updateI love this app so much, I use it almost every day and for almost all my projects for vector drawing. But since the update, it’s a shame I can’t see which documents are in each folder anymore. And it keeps crashing lately while doing my work and doesn’t save my work anymore. Unfortunately if it keeps crashing like this when I start new documents I won’t be using the app anymore and advising others against it..Version: 3.5.1

ImpressiveJust downloaded this app based on the reviews and I am not disappointed in the least. After a bit of playing around I was surprised at how powerful this app is. W It's definitely worth the money..Version: 1.2.2

The Most Professional Drawing ProgramMakes a nice alternative to an even more professional program as you can do all sorts to draw stuff like a pro. The only downside is that the app does crash every now and then, but still it's useful enough for me..Version: 3.5.2

A good app but missing somethingThis is a really good app to have but it could have more usable features for artists who work in vector a lot. I wish that they give this a huge update with new features and merging capability’s. They should gear this a little closer to adobe illustrator and the would have a huge impact on this market. Especially with the market releasing new apps for vector like Affinity Designer..Version: 3.4.3

Love this app...This has got to be the most comprehensive vector app available for the iPad. It’s super easy to use, is brilliantly precise, and offers a whole host of tools you’d expect from something running on a desktop. Using this together with my Apple Pencil, I’ve been able to create stuff that I even amaze myself with. Must-have for illustrators. Minor suggestion: a tool that allows you to cut one path at its intersection with another?.Version: 3.5.2

Now a truly great appI wasn't totally sure about idraw's earliest versions. It had good ideas, but lacked documentation and some essential features. But its got better and better, and the latest updates make it essential..Version: 1.2.1

IdrawBrilliant application. I need to practice a lot to get the best from the many features..Version: 1.3

Perfect Vector App! Truly AMAZING. Priceless. This app has blown me away! The UI is elegant and intuitive. Working with vector shapes & lines is PERFECT for iPad drawing. Snap-to-grid makes it a breeze to keep everything aligned right where you want it. You have pin point control over everything. Each tool is at your finger tips. I've always been more comfortable drawing in bitmaps but this app has really shown me the power of vector drawing. Personally I'm using this app for web site wireframes... But you could use it for just about anything..Version: 1.1.2

Love this app!I have been using this app on my iPad Pro for a couple years now, and use it to create all the items for my business. One thing I really wish this app had was a more advanced text tool. I’d really love to see opentype features integrated into the app since I do a lot of typography designs and really need to be able to access the alternates/ligatures within a font to make the designs really what I want them to be. There is another vector app that has these features but for some reason the app crashes when accessing those features. I’ve never had crashing issues with Graphic so would love to see these features! This would really round it out and make it perfect for everything I do. Pleeeeeease add opentype!.Version: 3.5.2

Just what I was looking forI've been using an app on the Mac called Graphic to do the occasional vector drawing, and I thought I'd check and see if there is something similar for the iPad. In fact, there is Graphic for the iPad and it has much the same interface. I feel totally at home! Actually, it's better than that. All the files I created on the Mac magically appeared on the iPad as well! In terms of usage, I'd say the only thing that's a little awkward is it can be difficult to select skinny items like lines with your finger. You can do a rectangular selection by dragging, but it tends to also select objects you don't want besides the line. Might have to invest in the Apple Pencil. But overall, this seems to be a pretty solid vector drawing app for the iPad platform..Version: 3.4.2

Long Term User & Love ItI been using this app when it was iDraw, now called Graphic. It has been my main go too vector tool with great success. It has continued to improve. They have always been very receptive when recommendations were offered which ultimately resulted in a much improved product. I hope they continue to look for better and more affective updates in the future..Version: 3.5.2

Fantastic applicationThis is doing exactly what ever you want from a drawing application..Version: 1.6

Great AppI use iDraw on my iPad and also on my MBP, love the app! Wish it could export to SVG though, otherwise, I am loving every update and I am finding that I am going to iDraw more and more than using Illustrator for what I need to do..Version: 1.6

Needs <SVG/> tag paste as graphics, works on macOSThis app is useful to fix vector shapes on the go, seamless through all Apple platforms. But I really would like to be able to past SVG vector graphics from web designs the same way as it just works on macOS version, and possibly export out single path element into text copy buffer as SVG tag as export option..Version: 3.5.2

New crashes, older version before update goodYea this app is great but since the update it constantly crashes, need to make it possible to get the last version so i can use it again or im going to have to look elsewhere. to use it now you have to save every five minutes and wait for a crash then redo what you lost when it does..Version: 3.5.2

Great!Would've loved a "fill" option!.Version: 1.2.2

Please updateI have used Graphic for iPad for years and no other app compares for me to its simple workflow. It hasn’t been updated for a long time and seems to get less stable with each iOS update. I hope the developer will return to this app or perhaps sell the rights to another. It would be a shame for Graphic to dry up..Version: 3.5.2

Well designed UI and extremely good App supportI've been using this App now for about 4 years, and throughout that time it has provided me with good set of features balanced with a nice UI. With the 3.5 update the app gets a shiny new coat of paint, which has improved things on all fronts. Not only is the app more responsive, it is also very quick at redrawing. I've always been able to produce very good artwork, without the complexity of something like Illustrator, plus if there is a problem, the support team have been on hand to provide quick work-arounds or admit the bugs (usually within 48 hours) and fix them in the next point release. In conclusion, this is a good app with a huge heart that also allow you to create fantastic artwork. With good app support and a bright future, what's not to like. Well worth the money..Version: 3.5.2

Good Solid AppDownloaded this to do a floorplan of my house to plot rennovations. As a lay person unfamiliar with this sort of thing it took a bit of playing to learn the ropes but can now use confidently. It is user friendly and a very useful app..Version: 1.2.2

Slow starterI’ve had this app for quite a while but not used it until I recently needed to create a map giving directions to an event. It was slow going until I started getting the hang of it and now I love it. I’ve only given 4 stars because it has crashed on me a number of times..Version: 3.5.2

ExcellentI am using the iPad version. Like this program very much. Easy to use, works well with touchscreen. Would like it to be a bit more compatible with Inkscape which I use on my Wiindows laptop..Version: 1.6

Glad it’s still supportedPlease put the combine paths tools on the toolbar, I use them frequently but they are hidden in the menus..Version: 3.4

Powerful appThis is an extremely useful and powerful app for vector design. Highly recommended..Version: 3.2.5

I really love this app!I really love this app it’s great from wireframing and UI design. I love the Symbols feature with the Icons, UI elements and wireframe elements. I love the ability to organize icons into libraries for easy access and organization. This is a great alternative to Sketch for Product/ UI Designers! The only thing I would like to see added is the ability to create more than one art board in each project and IPhone and Responsive Web defaults..Version: 3.5.2

Amazing App!Ten years ago I quit Adobe and started using Graphic (it has gone by other names) and have not been disappointed EVER! I use the pencil for just about everything I do. If I need to morph they got a tool for swinging the lines around, if I need to use a photo they got a tool to import it, if i need to add color, change color, they got a tool for it. If I need to use pressure I use the paint brush, it works just like the pencil by adjusting the line width. It has two selection tools, one for a line or more, one for everything. The layers work flawlessly. The only thing they don’t have a tool for is the fool drawing with their program, when that happens I write and ask them about the problem and get a quick response. As to the money the last time I bought anything from anyone else it was in the thousands for this kind of versatility. This improved the bottom line for my business and one other thing I never, ever got real size measurements before I used this device and this program. I have a lot of designs for the embroidery machine I use and I never have to resize them now or fix the disproportioned designs the other programs created, never mind the quilting designs I use that absolutely have to be accurate..Version: 3.5.2

ExcellentThe closest thing to Adobe Illustrator you will find for iPad. You can do so much with this, it’s great. It’s got good export options and file sizing/resolutions, and is Bluetooth keyboard compatible too (great for shortcuts). The only things I wish they’d add are the two-finger & three-finger tap gestures for undo/redo shortcuts, to help with quicker workflow, and the ability to drag guide lines from the ruler bars (or, if they have this, I haven’t been able to find it). I also hope one day they will add a Radial symmetry drawing grid, like Procreate has added, because I’d rather use Graphic to create things like mandalas etc..Version: 3.4.2

Very good! The most complete of its kind for iPad..Version: 1.2.2

Great programHighly recommended!.Version: 1.2.2

Wonderful app but needs an auto-save featureI’ve been using this app for about a month now and so far it’s been awesome but as far as I’m aware, it only saves when you exit. That means if it crashes while your working on something, you lose everything you just did. I just had hours of work vanish because the app crashed. I had no other apps open at the time. Extremely frustrating to say the least..Version: 3.5.2

IdrawGood little program, I use it to complete asbuilts on site and then save them to drop box. All my field team have the same setup so this cuts the paperwork and keeps a file record very easily..Version: 1.6

Far out!The 1.7 update has made this my favourite vector drawing app of all time. Fantastic job guys! The new styles and multiple strokes are very powerful and works exactly as expected (Illustrator-like). Glad I got the desktop app too. The iCloud sync with the desktop app makes designing on the go a breeze..Version: 1.6

Brilliant- cannot wait for some updatesThis is really awesome, great mix of simplicity and complex features. You really won't regret it and there are some features I really hope to see 1. Needs a delete button on the front tool bar 2. It would be great to be able to toggle a multi select button which let's you select multiple items pin point rather than bringing a square around a less accurate selection 3. Is there a way to sort various projects into an order or books, you cannot shuffle projects once created 4. Don't think you can edit the weight of lines once drawn, if you can, not easy to find Love it.Version: 1.2.2

Finally, something usefulCan't believe there are so few ratings and no reviews on this app. For the gazillion or so Illustrator / and the like drawing program users out there in the ether this is the logical choice for mobile creativity Email designs home as a PDF access in Illustrator / other Intuitive, and a pleasure to use. Only short coming is that the Ipad is a capacitive device and you have to use sausage fingers or a nubby stylus to place and move anchor points and handles ( if you want easy, take the pills ) Congratulations and well done Indeeo. Well worth the price of admission.Version: 1.0.9

The Best IS BACKNow that Picta has acquired the app from AutoDesk its back as the best. What made graphic so amazing for all iPad users was the fact that it was constantly growing and getting better. A year ago it was picked up by Autodesk and left to die. However, its back. Costumer service is back to perfect. The developers get back to me ASAP when needed. I’m spending more time on Graphic than I am on Illustrator. Well done Picta!!! Purchased a second lincense today for a friend just as a think you to you guys for the great work you do. I’m so pumped! Though graphic was dying but it’s back..Version: 3.3.1

Fabulous appI have used this for several years now. It is amazing and I have learnt so much. Added benefit is the tech support is amazing. They always get back to you and go over and above to help..Version: 3.5.2

Best Vector App I’ve UsedIt was also key for me that it worked on all my main devices (laptop, iPad, and iPhone).Version: 3.5.2

Import PDF Plans Set Scale away you goSo east, import any PDF Vector based drawing sets the scale whether drawn by architects, engineers or surveyors.... add a mark up layer so you don’t edit the I ported layer and away you go add text, dimensions areas unreal for me being a town p,Annetts and building surveyor, share the amended drawing as a PDF..... have been using this app for about 10 years. Always look at what there is better and cannot find anything as practical and simple as this app and it works on you iMac as welll.......Version: 3.5.2

GoodI’ve tried a lot of vector apps on iPad but this is my ‘go to’ app , sure it not adobe illustrator but I’m very happy with the illustrations I’ve been able to create . If I’ve ever been in touch with the dev team I’ve always had a speedy response. Other apps are improving so it’s good to see this continue to be improved..Version: 3.4.2

Glad to see it’s back.So happy it’s finally being updated again! I was really worried when it lost Dropbox compatibility. Now everything’s back up and running. I always start my projects on this app. A computer and Wacom takes a while to get set up, then you’re tied to a desk all day. This app, along with the Apple Pencil, gives me the freedom to work anywhere I want and it’s so easy to start a project. You have all the tools of a professional graphics app. One issue, and I’m sure it will be worked out in a further update, but an old problem seems to have resurfaced. When the app crashes, which is rare and usually just happens when I tap around in the layers menu too fast, and I reopen the app, it gets stuck on a loading screen and I have to exit and renter a few times before my projects load. This is just a minor and rare annoyance, though and I have never lost much progress or any files..Version: 3.3.1

Coreldraw for the iPad. Amazing!I have been designing logos and art for over 40 years and started before desktop publishing. This app is amazing affordable and worth every penny. I can tell you “the tools are just a tad different” as with all programs, but you can do anything - fast and easy. Excellent on-line training with simple clarity. I recommend this to anyone who uses Coreldraw or Illustrator, and needs a solution for their iPad. Simply put, I highly recommend this for any graphic artist or sign design professional. Real review! Sincerely, David G. Large format application expert Note, to developer... Thank you for all your hard work, it’s truly appreciated..Version: 3.5.2

FinallyA lot of vector drawing apps on here are great, but this one offers the basics and does it very well. The other apps are great for creating artworks, but I can use this app to create precise layouts. It’s the best bits of vector editors. I can fit this into my workflow. No mucking about with proprietary cloud storage either, there’s iCloud (and it’s optional) and export options are generous. Only one small bug with text on SVG exports where each line is placed in its own text box. If Adobe tries to acquire you, please resist 🙏 Thank you..Version: 3.5

IDraw is superbCan't say enough good things about this app. The vector tool especially is so easy to use as are all of the features. I am no artist but I can render a 3D image of a design concept very quickly and have not been able to do that so well with other apps. Sure, there could be more but to be honest what you have already will blow you away. Get this app if you are into design or just enjoy drawing. G..Version: 2.2

The best I’ve found, and I’ve tried a lot -For dimensional drawing and layout, whether for technical parts for the machine shop or floor plans to review with a builder, this handles everything exceptionally well. Not an artists tool (thank goodness, there are enough options for those!) and not a expensive pay-by-the-month CAD program. Takes a little getting used to, but the small effort is well worth it. iPad Pro and Apple Pencil, and you’ve got an outstanding tool kit for accurate design..Version: 3.5.2

The best so farA great app that allows you more freedom than other app's to get the designs you require. Looking forward to see what further improvements the can pack into this app for the ipad.Version: 1.3

Great!Spent several hours with this app the other day redrafting a business logo and am still playing around with the various combinations. Love the detail you can go to with the vectors, adjusting handles is at times a bit fiddly but worth the effort. Would like to see the following things considered for future improvements: An easy way to move objects between layers. I'm currently copying an item, selecting the other layer and pasting in place, not sure if there's a button for this, can't find it. A user editable object library (see TouchDraw) More options for snap settings (snap to line, edge, corner, node) Ability to add adjustable and automatically updating dimension lines to objects (see AutoCAD WS) would be very handy for creating site plans on the go..Version: 1.2.2

I'm stunned!Wow! This is what Adobe should have done. In comparison Adobe's mobile apps are short-sighted and useless. Well done making a very capable and professional app for the iPad. All of a sudden my iPad feels less like a toy and more like my Mac running Illustrator. Just what I was after..Version: 2.0

Crashes on iPad Pro 2018I use this app constantly and have had few issues since I acquired it when it was iDraw. I am finding that it is crashing when executing shears. I hope this bug gets fixed soon. I will try it on my Macbook Pro to see if the crash reoccurs but I really need this to work acorss my entire workflow which is iPhone 7 Plus, iPad 4, IPad Pro, i Pad Pro 2018, Macbook Pro, and Mac Pro..Version: 3.5.2

App crashes when using iCloudAwesome app, however crashes when you select iCloud sync. Turning it off fixes the problem..Version: 3.5.2

So far fantasticI got iDraw after too much frustration trying to use Notes Plus to draw simple diagrams and am very satisfied with the complete control offered, the ease with which one can draw to perfect scale (can adjust to 1pixel precision numerical size and position attributes of objects), set up grid exactly as one likes, etc. Well worth the price! Am very glad I got this app..Version: 1.2.2

Love it!This app is bursting with features... It really is Illustrator for your iPad... Adobes iOS apps pale in comparison to the shear power of this app... From multiple strokes and fills to blurring, even being able to save your own presets... Smart guides and the list goes on... If you are a designer and want to sit in the park and illustrate without having to carry a laptop, get this app... You can always transfer to your computer later... There are still some things that would be handy, organic brush strokes and a width tool (saving my last star for these), but for the price you won't be disappointed....Version: 2.2

I draw AppWithout a doubt I draw is the best app I have ever had. I love to draw and this app is so user friendly. I would encourage anyone to purchase it and see what I mean!.Version: 1.5

Excellent appThis app is very intuitive , easy to use and has so much potential. Sad that it has not been updated. This is my way to go app when I need to design something quickly. I still give it a 5 stars for what their competitors didn’t implement in their apps and this developer did. Really would love to see what they could come up with next ….. Thank you for this app..Version: 3.5.2

Great but could be betterEvidently the best vector package for iPad. However it doesn’t support (effectively) the pencil. We could also use a transform offset option. This said it is my go to on my iPad Pro..Version: 3.3.1

Love this programI love this program, use it daily. However, it’s been getting buggy! I updated yesterday, and now I can’t name any of my new files, as it says the name is already being used (which it isn’t). Also, resizing a canvas is not reducing the image along with it, as it used to, and I can no longer see my images off the canvas, which was vastly helpful for placing objects to be used in my paintings! Please fix these things, and I will be so thankful, and restore my 5 star rating! I wish you would have left the tools in their original spaces, as it was much more expedient for my regular routine use..Version: 3.5

Just What I NeededI needed an app to makes notes about the floor plan of my house, but none of the drawing or illustrating apps I already owned could handle it. I downloaded Graphic and was amazed by how easy the arrows with automatic dimensioning were to use. Made my job quicker and easier, and the plan more precise. Intuitive interface, I jumped right in and started using it after a couple of minutes of playing with the tools. Highly recommended..Version: 3.3.1

Keyboard ShortcutsReally good app. Easy to use and learn. The one issue that I have with the app is that the keyboard shortcuts are not the same across different platforms. I use this app on a 2018 IPad Pro with smart filio keyboard and an Apple Pencil. I also use the app on a MacBook Pro. When using the Pen tool, to break handles on IPad it is the shift key. To break the handles on a Mac it is the option key. On the iPad the option key snaps and on Mac the shift key snaps. Seems a bit strange and pretty confusing. The apps should be uniform across all platforms..Version: 3.5.2

Getting there but needs more changesPlease add the option for making straight lines with the pen tool, and PLEASE give me the ability to hold down the option key so I can temporarily activate node selector mode (same as when you press down A, but just for pen tool points)..Version: 3.4.2

Great app and great supportI has an issue at first with it converting to use in illustrator, but that got sorted incredibly fast with the support of the developer(and on a Saturday!) It took a little getting used to the interface but quick to pick up and friendly once you get the hang of it. Would definitely recommend and thanks so much for the help!.Version: 3.5.2

Great app, but lately it started crashingGreat app! But please fix the stability of it. It keeps crashing after the latest update..Version: 3.5.2

TerrificGreat app ...tried others but keep coming back to this one .....would really like the option not to delete everywhere just delete in camera roll but keep in albums..thanks.Version: 1.5

In many ways better than IllustratorEnjoying using Graphic for all our design needs! So responsive, and great for importing illustrator format, working with various resolutions, cmyk, vector and images. Even on the iPhone, I am able to draw out complex graphics for later use on iPad Pro or Mac. Love it! My absolute FAVORITE feature is Graphics ability to export Swift Code! Totally useful feature for designers who want to port directly into iOS application development. Issues encountered: Importing work into iOS (that was initially done on Mac desktop version of Graphic) is hit and miss. Sometime it reads fine on iOS, while other times it just shows up black. Elements in the .idraw file (from Mac) includes “placed: high resolution images and vector shapes. It would be great if it was seamlessly transferable, considering it is essentially the same application on different platforms. iPhone version has some trouble displaying and managing the folders and files properly. aside from those bugs, it seems pretty solid. Thank you for providing the best vector illustration app available!.Version: 3.4.2

Very nice updateI bought this app recently knowing the update was coming and what was already a very good app is now much better. This is particularly true if you also use the Mac version which had some features which were not in the iPad app and have now been added. The new layers functionality is excellent..Version: 1.3

Great CAD AppI’ve been using it for electrical schematics and graphs. Works really well. Unfortunate for those that have issues. Mine has been solid since I bought it..Version: 3.5.2

More like Illustrator than any appI create illustrations and surface design patterns in Graphic all the time. It was very easy to pick up, after years of working in Adobe Illustrator. I can take a photo of my sketchbook drawing import into the app, create the whole illustration or pattern with named layers, then export as an SVG and jump right back into it in Illustrator. When I create a pattern, it would be nice to simply type in the distance I want an object to move rather than having to do the math. Right now I just keep my phone calculator app up to help with the math..Version: 3.5.2

Great App but a little buggyStarted using this app recently to draw over maps for a class and overall, it’s great. But there are annoying problems, like text editing. After using the app for a while, some text becomes uneditable by any means other than completely deleting it and starting again. It’s supposed to put the text edit cursor in the text box when you double click it, but that frequently doesn’t work. Sometimes, saving the doc, closing the app and reopening will do it. Other times it won’t. 5 stars if that gets fixed..Version: 3.3.1

CrashesThe App crashes when I am trying to save the image to another App or even Save as Photo.Version: 3.5.2

JGreat app, really easy to use. It would be amazing if it had a few extra features like multiple gradients. And a smudge or distortion feature..Version: 1.4

ImpressiveIDraw is amazing! I have had it for 2 years and it's great for vector work on the go! The features are great and everything works perfectly. I wish there was Illustrator Export and/or a stroke width tool for tapering but even without these it's a very impressive app..Version: 2.0

Desktop drawing power on the iPad.I have most of the vector drawing apps that are available for the iPad and this is my favorite. This app just keeps on getting better and better, with new features added on a regular basis. The closest thing to Adobe Illustrator on the iPad..Version: 1.6

Been using this app for yearsIt has been a very useful tool for me. I support this app and think it’s one of the better options for vector graphic manipulation. I have found it crashing a little more recently. It’s still a good app, but it will crash. I’m using an iPad Air 3 and not overloading the file. When the app crashes, I’ve been able to open it back up and continue right where I left off. Fortunately, I have never lost a single project over the years. It is time for a bug and stability update though. Hopefully we’ll see one soon..Version: 3.5.2

Must HaveI have created some killer art with this app. A must have for all artists on the go. It was the missing link in my art app collection..Version: 1.4

IdrawI am a freelance graphic artist and love this application. I use Adobe Illustrator and this program allows me to do almost everything I require to produce my work. In some cases even more. This is a graphic artists answer to illustrator for iPad..Version: 1.2.2
