✓ Terrible for Print SubscribersIf you are a print subscriber with digital access, you can no longer access your issues through the app. It’s pathetic. It makes you go onto a web browser to access your library and read your issues. I cannot believe they just alienated a 35 year subscriber..Version: 36.3.1
✓ SupremeIt's fantastic, but would I buy it again? No, it's just suitable for the Americans. If the app is going to draw a wider bunch of readers, there should be an international version, focusing on globally popular sports. For non-Americans, baseball is as boring as soccer is for most Americans. Besides, the wheel is faulty, though a brillant idea. I clicked for stats on a German footballer in the World Cup, but the app took me to the baseball page. The sharing feature is not active as well. Anyway, well done!.Version: 0

✓ What happened?Love the content. I’m a multi-year subscriber, and usually only read the print version. I’m going out of town for a couple months. So imagine my surprise when I went to download a couple issues and the app demands I fork out $6. If they fix this, the content is 5 stars, as usual. (I can do without the “fashion” issue, which is simply ridiculous.) The writing is the best in the business. So this review is strictly for the APP itself. Update: As a result of this review, I was contacted by the developer, who has fixed this issue. Let’s hope this was a temporary glitch..Version: 35.2.0
✓ Mixed BlessingsI am not sure how I eventually managed to down load my copies of Sports Illustrated but once I did I realised that the i-Pad is the ideal way of reading this great magazine. The i-Pad extras make it superior to the printed edition. BUT.....Please, please, please can someone please investigate the download process of this application for the i-pad edition. Something is not working correctly and from a glance at the customer ratings and comments this a complaint shared by others. Half the potenial market is likely to be lost by this problem. Part2 It is now much easier to download each edition on the I-pad App. Still fairly slow, but it is possible to be sure that downloading is taking place as the blue dot stretches out across the width of the magazine image. Well worth subscribing, especially for those of us out of the US and unable to buy the print edition. It costs, in London, what I used to pay for the SI magazine at Sportspages store in Charing Cross Road. So I have no complaints about what is now a superior product. Many thanks SI for the improvements that you have made! Part 3 Having enjoyed the best magazine available in the App Store for some ten months, the latest update prevents me from subscribing! This is because I live outside North America. Please Sports Illustrated do not exclude me permanently. Please let me spend my money buying your iPad edition every week. Many thanks..Version: 4.1.11
✓ Finally!!As a big fan of American Sports I've waited years for a decent cost-effective way to get Sports Illustrated in the UK and finally I have it. Never subscribed to the print edition due to the extortionate cost and the fact that the issues arrive over here about 3 weeks after their release. Now that they've updated the app and added it to Newsstand I have got a years subscription to the iPad edition for just £27.49, absolutely loving it!!.Version: 6.1

✓ SI isn’t making it in the digital age.This app has never worked properly. I get a new issue notice and when I try and read it I am offered a free trial or read a sample. You folks never forget to bill but you always seem to forget to deliver the goods. Very bad practice and horrible customer service. ✓ Some nice features but the videos don't seem to playOut of all the magazines I've viewed on the iPad apart from NRP, this makes best use of the iPad (much more however could be done). But I've downloaded two issues and none of the videos play. They load, but don't play. You press the play arrow, nothing happens. The app doesn't crash, it just doesn't seem to want to play the videos. Disappointing in that respect but otherwise a much more imaginative effort than most other mags on the iPad..Version: 0

I also liked that it gave you current stories you could click and see that were not in the magazine. Now when I click on the app it takes me to my browser and than I have to put in my email address and than opened up my email to get access! Are you kidding me?.Version: 36.3.3
