✓ Costly advertHi I am disgusted at this app as my son was using it & also tapped the advert when attempting to tap next & has proved costly to me running up £45 worth in calls as it dialled a premium rate no. Several times. I did not see him do this until too late. I will be calling my phone provider & making complaints to apple & eflash cards as this is terrible and has put me off downloading any app like this again. Fuming! Apple should remove this app from the store ASAP!.Version: 2.1
✓ Rip Off Merchants - DO NOT DOWNLOAD!Warning to all parents, DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS APP IF YOU USE AN IPHONE There is an active banner within the app which when pressed dials and connects to a premium rate number. In the last two weeks our 2 year old has ended up being tricked into making over £25 worth of calls on my phone because of this app. This is a disgraceful way of making money out of vulnerable children who don't know what they are pressing. How is it teaching children to spell correctly when there are inaccuracies? Someone should review all of the flash cards & correct the mistakes. ✓ Good but a little inappropriateThis is a good app for preschool learning as it is very straightforward. Your child only has to touch on the flash card and it will go to the next one so it's very easy to use. It also has audio as well as the word written out so your child can repeat it and learn. The learning aspect gets 5 stars because it is very straightforward and very easy to use. However, I gave it 3 stars because I felt that some of the flash cards on the "body" section were inappropriate for preschoolers. Some of the flash-cards have pictures of women who are barely dressed or are pictured in a provocative way. I felt that was a bit much for preschoolers..Version: 2.0

✓ DisappointedThe original version of this app was much better than the update. This is designed for small children but the current version has small tabs at the bottom of the flashcard to toggle between each card, instead of just swiping the screen. Also, although I purchased this app, there is still a stream of advertising at the bottom of the screen, which my child accidentally hits often now that you have to touch a 'next' tab just above the advo...the screen immediately is redirected to a web page to purchase. Unfortunately, when you try to return to the app, you have to completely start it up again. Love the flashcards themselves...great variety and age appropriate, it unfortunate that its such a pain to use now..Version: 2.2

However, my major gripe is that I paid to go ad free, but every single time I open the app I have to click restore as it never remembers that I have already paid. ✓ This used to be a good app a few years ago!This was an awesome app a few years ago, when my now five-year-old granddaughter who was two to three years old at the time used it, this was great! I could put the phone in guided access mode and they could have it for a long time with no issues. Now even using the guided access this app has ads constantly popping up whether, her now 14 -month-old sibling, hits the button accidentally or not! I was getting frustrated and wondering why she kept hitting the button… So I played it with her for a little while and realized they are popping up without hitting anything! If a phone is in guided access ads should not be popping up! And the ads that are popping up our extremely inappropriate! There is an option to upgrade to an ad free version if you purchase it, however it does not give what the purchase price is and what the other advantages to it would be, if any. Go back to what it was a few years ago! If I could give it a zero rating I would! This is getting deleted off of all of my devices!.Version: 3.5

No matter where he seems to click, the adverts are seemingly activated and the app closes, leaving him disappointed. ✓ Good update but some problemsI have been using the older version for a long time and it has been great! My 1 year old loves it. The new pics and sounds added are great but there are a few bugs with the upgrade. The voice and sounds still make noise when my phone is on silent. I use the flash cards a lot when I try to keep my daughter quiet. Previously if my phone was on silent it wouldn't make noise. I just had to slide my phone off silent to get the sounds. Now I have to turn the volume all the way off or on to get sounds. Using the mute in the settings doesn't seem to mute the background noise on the home screen. I also agree that a loop feature would be nice so as you flip when you got to the end it would start over again. Overall this is my favorite flash card app but there are still improvements to be made to make it better..Version: 2.1

Plenty of options and it keeps my 2 year old entertained for long periods of time as long as I'm the one pressing the buttons for her. ✓ DisappointedI’m not sure how I came across an email address for this company but I wrote them several times asking how to remove ads from one device. I paid for the added feature of not having pop up ads while my toddler watches this. For some reason, the app recognizes that I paid for that benefit on one device (iPad) but on my other device (iPhone) the ads continue to pop up. It’s very annoying especially since my account is all under one email address and I paid extra so that I wouldn’t get any pop-ups. ✓ Terrible!!!!I've had this app for a year and my 2 year old loves it. Now with the new update, you have to choose the "Next" button to advance the flash cards. Before the update, you could simply swipe or tap the screen to advance the flash cards. The new "Next" button is so conveniently located less than a centimeter above the ads on the bottom of the screen, which guarantees that the toddler will click on the ad. So I would just like to say THANK YOU for your greediness, stupidity and selfishness. I'm looking forward to telling all my friends not to buy this app, or any other apps made by this company. And, by the way, most 2 year olds can't read, and they won't be reaching for their credit cards to purchase whatever stupid product is in your ads. And if you're counting on the moms of the toddlers who use this app to look at the ads, you've gravely miscalculated. Moms who get this app for their kids do so in order to keep their kids entertained for a few moments. There needs to be a lockout so when the app is being used my little ones cannot so easily get out of it. However, the next and back buttons are too small and not in a good place. It would be much easier if the kids could just swipe to the next picture. Also, being the next and back buttons are at the bottom near the ad banner my son tends to hit the ad banner too often when trying to hit next. I also have to help him a lot to hit the next button because he's used to swiping and the buttons are small. Please make a change to make it easier on the younger kids! I don't know what the creator was thinking... I see other users have also reported a problem with adult ads which is a deal-breaker for this mommy. Assuming you care enough to fix the big problems, here are some littler things: some of the pictures were vague (ex. forearm), some word choices were weird (bangles instead of bracelets, safari? Lol), and though it appears to be based on US English, you showed a cricket bat for 'bat'? It would be nice for parents to turn categories on or off in the settings..Version: 2.0
