Doesn't always workThe map is nice but... During the most recent Atlantic storm the wind speed chart was locked on data for a different storm If there is no active storm the Tropical Outlook graphic does not get updated so there is no way of knowing what is developing The worst part is that old data is presented in both cases so unless you look for a dare on the product you won't realize that you are making decisions based on obsolete data Providing incorrect information is worse than providing no information at all.Version: 3.2

Doesn't work anymoreI've had this app for close to 3 years; I received an email notification tropical storm 4 is been detected in the Atlantic Ocean. I went to the app to review the storm info and it wouldn't open. I tried several more times with no success in getting the app to work. I uninstalled and reinstalled the app twice and continued getting the same result. I don't know why this app all of a sudden quit working but I certainly don't have time to keep checking up on it. I contacted a few friends who have this app and they report the same problem. If it's not working by the end of the day I'm going to uninstall it permanently. Get it fixed or remove the app from the App Store. I recommend anyone who has this app and it's not working to report it to Apple so it can be fixed or removed. You would think this would be a priority for this developer, but apparently not..Version: 3.9.4

Slow Moving Hurricane -Path ObscuredWith a strong, slow-moving hurricane, the gray area which shows the potential impact area completely obscured the projected path. I could not see where Florence would hit the Carolina coast or track inward with all the grey. Useless when I needed that data..Version: 4.1.0

Not updated for 2 yrs. When a developer fails to update their app in two years... It's a bad sign..Version: 4.1.0

Needs an updateNot worth the money. Needs an update. Parts of the app don’t work!.Version: 4.1.0

Paid the $2.99 todayHad the free version with ads and worked great as soon as I paid the $2.99 for the ad free version both my iPhone and iPad stopped working, keep getting a data load error. Sent message to support but still didn't hear back. If you can't fix it I want my money back. Was a 5 star prior to today but since it's not work since paying for it you only get a star..Version: 2.3

Let down!Hurricane Harvey was coming down on us in Rockport, Tx (where it made landfall as a cat 5). Needed desperately to depend on this app to see what area or town we could escape to. BIG PROBLEM was the white shading circles where so opaque, could not see roads, towns or anything under them. They covered most all of the state of Texas rendering the app unusable. What dissatisfaction. I would give less than one star due to how bad this app let us down..Version: 4.1.0

Waiting on support - butHave had this app for years. Suddenly... no satellite imagery. No Caribbean or Gulf of Mexico Loops. Waiting on support, 2 Stars coz 2nd request submitted. Live in the Keys and RELY on storm apps. If it worked like it used to, an easy 5 Stars..Version: 4.1.0

Awful abandoned appNo updates since 2015. Poor outdated graphics. Confusing menus. Stay away..Version: 4.1.0

What happened?I use to love this app but now there are problems. It acts strange when I try to open it and It’s giving outdated information. I’m deleting it..Version: 4.1.0

APP DOES NOT WORK Stars (0) ZEROWorst amount of money on an app. We are getting ready for a possible stir within the next 7-10 days and no signs of an update. Please, please don’t waste your money or your life with this app..Version: 4.1.0

Data not always updatedUp to date info is of paramount importance when you are tracking something as serious as a major hurricane..Version: 4.1.0

Previously paid for app now is free and has adsNot fair and no way should I pay for the app again. If they don't resolve this I hope apple shuts them down. Also had issues throughout the day (1st day of major hurricane in the season) not able to connect to the websites the app uses. Again since I paid for my version that is not right or fair. Loved the app last year and if the company resolves the issues i would change my rating and review..Version: 2.3

Irritating in App adsLooks like an OK app but quickly becomes too irritating to use due to the frequent in App ads for the $2.99 pay version with the almost identical name of iHurricaneHD. (No space before the HD) Would probably buy the full App if it wasn't for the forceful sales pitch. Going to do the same as I do in similar situations in real life and go elsewhere for my purchase..Version: 0

IOS 11It doesn’t seem to support iOS 11. Not sure if the problem is on my end of if the app doesn't support iOS 11. I get a message when I try to open the app that says the app has not been updated..Version: 4.1.0

Only named stormsOnly starts tracking storms after they get named which isn't helpful for early warning since it is several days after forming a rotation..Version: 4.1.0

Ugly Obstructive Ad Banner 👎👎Following up my initial review of this version (which was not a happy one) I downloaded the update that apparently addresses the crashing issue. However and to my surprise, the update includes a hideous new ad banner right above the hurricane activity display. Why must this be? It's an irritating distraction that detracts from the app overall. Blech! 😖 In my opinion, if you need to include adware, the place for it would be right below the hurricane activity display where it will not upstage the content? As it stands now, I don't even want to even look at the app any more and I will probably forego downloading the "improved" version on any of my other devices, that's for sure! 👎.Version: 3.9.5

No text availableThe application tells me that note text is available on any screen..Version: 4.1.0

I shouldn't have deleted the old one...Well... After being prompted to upgrade I did. I liked it so I deleted to old app. Well I tried to look again tonight and the app opens only enough to ask for my location then crashes. Multiple deletes and reinstalls later still the same thing. If you have the old app use it (though they crippled the satellite images to tell you to upgrade) for as long as you can. Then find something else..Version: 0

Free is OK, $4 add-on is uselessI loved original iPhone version (free with push, but push was only new storms), then saw this and updated. I bought the $4 add-on since it said it adds more content, and all I got was push, and haven't received a single event, even though Weather Channel app showed NWS update saying I had to evacuate! AND, clicking the blue arrow next to storm names is broken in this version (does nothing)..Version: 0

GarbageThis is an old app from 2010, many parts of the app are not updated (for example it gives a floater IR sat from 7 months ago on a new iPhone 6s, meaning it's not cached or anything as its a new phone). The sat labeled "loop" don't loop, they're just static images, it's an awful app and a complete waste of space on your phone..Version: 4.1.0

SuckeredI can't believe I was suckered into buying this app for $3.99. Read available reviews and thought the app might be worth the money. Nope. Duped. This app has no looping functionality. The app accesses the NOAA website and displays, most often old, information bitmaps. There is a link to the website to obtain information but the app itself holds nothing as far as details of the current weather or motion maps. Don't buy it! Deleted from my iPad rather than have the useless app take up space..Version: 3.6

A bit confusing.Doesn't really tell you anything..... rubbish..Version: 3.2

Abandoned App?None of the NOOA maps showing anymore. EDIT; Since my review yesterday, today the GOES Atlantic satellite screens are now working. Other Atlantic screens still black, still no Pacific screens working. One map has a Jan 1 date but a black screen a few have a May 2015 date. This app was working fully last hurricane season. Strangely there is up to date info on current storms, SST section is working. Maybe because I’m in Canada? Don’t bother getting this app..Version: 4.1.0

Typhoons pleaseIt would be great to see typhoons on this app too. Great app though!.Version: 3.8

Not worth itWas looking for something to help me keep an eye on hurricanes since I live in Florida. This is so NOT it. I can get more information from looking up at the sky and the news than I can from this app..Version: 4.1.0
