✓ Lotsa fun!I bought this app because of the icon, and was pleasantly surprised to discover that it's lots of fun. It works well on abstract images with lost of colours and contrast. It's a great way to create wallpapers for my iPhone and iPad. The downside to Percolator is that it reduces the image size from 5 megapixels (iPhone 4) to 2 megapixels (1200 x 1600 pixels). I am assuming that it cannot preserve the original image size as it would simply be too much for the iPhone's processor..Version: 0

✓ StunningI have a few DOZEN photo editors and various other thingies for manipulating images. Percolator is more useful to me as a presenter than all of them. It takes the most mundane image ( a 'word' for example) and turns it into eye-candy - some examples at @pdejager.Version: 2.4

✓ Excellent Results...As someone who previously thought everything could be done better and easier in Photoshop, I'm definitely coming round to these newer iPhone apps which really exploit an interesting position between desktop software (expensive!) and one-trick iPhone apps (cheap!). This app is definitely capable of some amazing results with the right images. It's a really beautiful, clever and interesting concept. I have two suggestions though: 1. Enable vector/pdf output (like Phototropedelic). It's a tease to create all those crisp circles and lose them to the jaggies in a decent-sized print ;-(( 2. A slider which controlled bubble-size variation could be interesting, say from 1 (small, and all equally sized) to 99 (maximum randomness). The few portraits I've tried to process have been marred by disproportionately large circles on the cheeks and forehead... Otherwise, excellent piece of kit, get it now, before the effect becomes ubiquitous... PS Adobe could learn a lot from these people...1980 have called and they do want their "special effects" back..Version: 0

✓ Great little appImpressed with the results so far, as up close they look like op-art pictures of random circles but when you view the image from a distance you suddenly see the original photo. Best results take a little trial and error, however that's half the fun. As someone else stated vector art outputs or much larger pixel outputs are required as these would look great printed large on the wall..Version: 2.0
✓ I like this app but .....I just bought this app and have been playing with it. However, I don’t see any mask feature here. I think this is just a matter of tapping and doing some adjustments but if you only want some of those adjustments or style, per se, to be on certain areas, you can’t. There’s no layers, as well, and I don’t see any tutorial, too..Version: 2.5.2
