✓ Not Holding Up to CompetitionI want to love this app. But: there is not enough variety within the playlists on each channel; lots of channels, but if you don't like the different styles, the library is limited; streaming is flaky compared to, say, Songza. The pitch for premium service has been annoying, and just not worth the price given the limited amount of music available and the lack of new additions. Just picking a player and higher audio quality is just not worth the money. Interface is nice, though. Sorry, I have to move on..Version: 1.4.7
✓ Good but...I was notified of a forced upgrade today, which I tried to install. It wouldn't install because my iPhone runs a back level iOS. I was offered a previous version of Jazzradio which I accepted. On restarting the forced update appeared again. Rinse and repeat. Ad nauseam. This is precisely why I don't subscribe..Version: 3.0

✓ The free app is plagued by adsOnly download if you plan on buying their Premium service. the free ad-based service is plagued by pop-ups, forced video ads viewing and constantly switches to the appstore for you to download advertised apps. not worth it - there's tons of other streaming services out there!.Version: 3.4.3

✓ Jazz Radio's gone down the pan!Very disappointing - far too many ads. Agree with other reviewers. If it ain't broke don't fix it. Used to be really good when it was actually on the real actual radio (via Internet). This now discontinued - bad news. It should be called 'Jazz spoiled by Ads not on the real radio'. The program directors probably will not even read our reviews, let alone do anything about it. They've lost me as a customer. As an alternative there's a public service (real) radio station called Calm Radio - Jazz Piano...Version: 1.4.7
✓ Changed for the worseWhat the heck! This used to be one of my favourite apps, with a fantastic selection of channels. But all of a sudden I'm getting ads after every single song, cutting into the beginning of the next song, and the ads are at least twice as long as they used to be. I was seriously considering becoming a premium member, but with the decline in quality of the app, I'm just deleting it and finding something else to listen to. What a shame!.Version: 1.4.7
✓ Can't Rotate My View on iPad!What did you people do to this app? It will only view one way. Prior app let me rotate so that the best view was from side to side. Boo hoo! Now I have to go looking for another Jazz app..Version: 3.0

✓ Video ads stop the musicThe music is great, with a fantastic selection of channels—so much so that when I realized I hadn’t used this app in a long time I wondered why. Without a premium subscription, not only do you get audio ads (which is absolutely expected and acceptable), but you are also served video ads that you have to unlock your phone and watch in order to continue listening. Tldr: Great if you love jazz and sign up for the premium membership, useless otherwise..Version: 4.8.0
✓ Really Annoyed!This app no longer works on our iPod touch. We are premium members, but the forced upgrade means we can't use the subscription with our current setup. Can't use the website on iOS either, as it requires flash. Not happy!.Version: 3.0

✓ Uses HUGE amount of CPUThis app is broken. It uses a HUGE amount of CPU time, making the rest of the phone slow and laggy, makes the phone run HOT, and drains the battery like nothing else. Until this is fixed, the app is unusable. Same issue occurs on my iPad so it’s not a problem with my particular iPhone. Additional information as requested by developer: iPhone 6S running iOS 13.2 iPad Air 2 running iPadOS 13.2 I normally stream from the iPhone to an A/V receiver via AirPlay with the screen turned off. But as soon as the app is running (even without playing music), the phone runs slow. When pulling down the Notification Centre or pulling up the Control Centre, the animation is slow and jerky. If I start the stopwatch in the Clock app, the hundredth-seconds do not increment smoothly but only about twice a second..Version: 4.6.0

✓ Change/lower purchase fee.Would purchase if 1 time fee. If one does not purchase the app you have to check it nearly every 5-10 minutes otherwise you’ll lose the music. ✓ Too RepetitiveIf you don’t have a subscription, the music only lasts for a short while before it stops itself requiring you to repress the play button. I wouldn’t mind a subscription only problem is, its way too repetitive. Have found other options elsewhere with better playlists..Version: 4.3.0
✓ Great Music Selection. Rather Buggy, unfortunately.This app is my go-to place for smooth lounge jazz, which is one of my favorite genres of music. The selection is nice, and I’ve found an bought some great music this way. Unfortunately, the app itself is pretty buggy. Sometimes, it won’t recognize your Facebook login, so you can’t use it via Facebook. It’ll say, “that account already exists”. Well, yes. I know. That’s why I’m trying to sign in through it! Not only that, it’ll randomly pause the song. I don’t know if it’s buffering or what, but it’s kind of annoying to have to stop what I’m doing to push the play button every time. EDIT: The song selection is another problem with this app. Sometimes, they’ll play the same song several times a week, while better songs don’t play again for months. Either that, or they aren’t playing when I’m listening. Otherwise, I’m happy with this app. Just needs some kinks to work out!.Version: 4.3.0

✓ Too expensiveThe variety of music is great. The App simple but does the job. The price for premium is ridiculous as you pay almost for nothing. I would be happy to pay once even £10 but not monthly for slightly better quality which you can't really appreciate much listening to the records from '20 or removing the ads which you can to not listen to switching to different channel..Version: 1.4.7
