✓ Don’t buy premiumI bought the premium subscription and I regret it completely. The songs repeat themselves very often within an hour which means the playlists are small. Bossa Nova channel probably has fewer than 60 songs on shuffle, maybe fewer, the rest are variations. I heard variations of the same song “One Note Samba” 3 times in an hour, also Garota de Ipanema (Girl from Ipanema) back to back, Agua de bebe, and O barquinho OVER, and OVER and OVER again within the same hour. Talk about lack of variety. I don’t know about the free stream, but the pay one is a waste of money. Other songs are also repeating a lot, and on other channels as well, such as 80s and 90s channels.. all have small playlists. No ability to hear a previous song, only fast forward, and the fast forward is not always available. Developer doesn’t address issues, only responds generically and inadequately. Thumbs down. 2020 UPDATE: Many months later, issues not addressed. Developer doesn’t care. Same songs repeating one after another on Samba channel. Complete waste of money..Version: 4.8.0

✓ Repetitive? You bet!Gdp65 wrote that the music is getting a bit repetitive - one and a half years ago. He's still right. Personally I prefer the bebop jazz channel, and I do like Oscar Peterson, and yes, "Love for Sale" and "A Foggy Day" are nice tunes, but... It feels a bit like spending a week in a holiday house with 20 LP's. Buy some more records, please! And how many "smooth jazz", "mellow jazz", "uptempo smooth jazz", "smooth jazz 24/7" and "smooth bossa nova" do we need? ✓ Can't listen. Too many pop up adsThe app use to be good and I listened to it every day. Now there are so many pop up ads on loop that it's almost impossible to hit the play/pause button. I do believe this is a bug and would love it to get fixed. Just selecting any song from the all stations list will re-create this error. (iPhone 4S on wifi) Please fix it..Version: 1.4.3
✓ Forced to update app!!! :(I'm sorry radiotunes but this is a joke! Forcing me to update the app!!! We're has the bit rate and buffering information gone? I can't see that in the screenshots taken from the update info on iTunes!!! The buffering bar was always at the bottom of the screen and it also showed data usage, has all this great info been taken away? Then been replaced by a pointless thumbs up or down! The layout looks awful as well, it's got a horrible modern look, very similar to other radio apps such as tunein. This is a deffenite step backwards & I for one will be cancelling my premium sub unless this is changed again. I understand adding the premium sub option in the app is great, but apart from the as the saying goes "if it ain't broke...".Version: 1.5

✓ What’s up the new influx of ads???The app used to be awesome, but starting in early December 2020, if one listens to the app for a couple of hours the ads start after EVERY song played and requires one to acknowledge the ad before the next song is played. The owners of this app should realize that current users like myself will not tolerate this for too much longer and there are plenty of other free music apps to switch to!.Version: 4.8.0
✓ Not playingThe ads just stop and there is no way i can play it. Its sad because this app was my favorite and now I cannot listen to it. i moved to zenradio to listen to my relaxing music channels (that was on radiotunes) it says connecting but the stations wont play. ✓ Too much adverts now in 2021All of a sudden, I get adverts almost every 10 to 15 mins - never like this before You need to think about toning down the adverts. ✓ Can't open to updateWell what worked recently won't now. It is telling me to update and when I hit update it takes me to the App Store and tells me to open the app. Then takes me right back to the download page again. Vicious cycle. ✓ Worse and worse as time goes by.I've been a premium subscriber for a couple of years. At one time, the stations seemed to be decently curated with a wide variety of music in any given genre. You would tune into a feed and it was essentially like tuning into satellite radio. The streams were continuous and very well mixed. Unfortunately, their system has changed. Tuning in now is like pressing shuffle on a giant hard-drive. Every person who tunes in will get a different mix and I end up hearing the same songs over and over. If you don't like a song there is no fast forward button. You can achieve the same thing by selecting another "channel" and then tuning back in. Basically like pressing shuffle again. It is ridiculous. I get the feeling that the company thinks they have amassed enough content to let a crappy algorithm do all the work. Other music streaming services have far outstripped RadioTunes. ✓ Nice Tunes but high battery consumptionI don’t know why my phone heats up while streaming this App in the background? Checking on battery consumption in iOS settings, radioTunes consumes an awful lot of power. Also the premium version subscription is too expensive..Version: 4.5.1
✓ Used to be greatI’ve been listening since the app was called Sky FM, I’ve always tolerated the ads as they were few and far between. Now in the past 2 months (January 23), the number and frequency of ads has exploded and NOW as of this morning they threw ads in the middle of songs twice! I get it that they have an algorithm that looks to push you towards paying the overpriced monthly subscription but if I wish to listen to ads, that should be enough. So as of today I’m finished with them. They ruined a once perfect platform! See ya as there are just too many other options out there. Also the app wants to freeze up when I have plenty of signal and it no longer works with Apple CarPlay. Every time a message comes through it quits playing and then out of the blue the on screen pieces showing the tune name and time of play vanishes and goes to a screen showing the other stations. Zenradio and pandora do not have this issue. Fix your issues before others bail on you..Version: 5.0.2

✓ GoodNo iPad support otherwise 5 stars. Stops playing sometimes while buffer shows full bars on iPhone 5 6.1.2v software. Update: still allot of stuttering and jumping up and down the song after regaining signal and player rebuffers music.. Update. Works better now with the latest update. Still no ipad support.
