✓ Not very reliableKeep getting different readings even when I haven’t changed anything, not impressed so far..Version: 2.1
✓ Wildly Inaccurate and so ultimately useless.I’d love to give this app a better rating but I just can’t; the huge variances between measured lug tunings make it almost unusable. Even Repeating the log tuning process over and over yields huge discrepancies in the register tuning at each log sometimes as much as 45 cents then on next measurement possibly down to 2 cents. Standard Pitch tuning i.e. single fundamental tuning in the centre of the head is ‘probably’ fine to get the overall pitch of a drum but evening out the lugs simply isn’t accurate on any of my many drums when tested against a Tunebot I borrowed to cross-check..Version: 2.0
✓ Disappointing, not useful for meThree recommendations for future revisions: First, consider focusing more on pitches and less on frequencies. I’ve never met a drummer who tunes using frequencies. And while we can Google the conversions, it’s an extra step. Second, incorporate a pitch/tone generator (unless it’s there somewhere and I can’t find it). As it is, the app seems to be geared toward checking the existing pitch/tension of the head, but it would be more useful if it helped the user actually arrive at the desired pitch in the first place. Third, the lug tuning seems to check each lug clockwise, but many of us go from one lug to the one across from it. Maybe there’s an option in there that I can’t find to change the order of the lugs, but if not, there should be..Version: 1.05
✓ Cannot lockdown tuningIve spent hours and hour's (days )chasing this things tail in an effort to get consistent readings. I'm going to give up now and figure out tuning only by ear. A lot less frustrating!.Version: 3.3
✓ Hit and missFirstly App is not intuitive - takes a while to figure out how to use. Secondly the readings aren’t consistent. I can see it has loads of good reviews. But it’s a bit of a joke for me, trying to tune the snare reso and goes from 200hz to 400 n’ something in same two hits. The tutorials for snare on YT tune the batter but not the reso and the comments point you to the manual. All in all you need to dedicate a lot of study and a few days or weeks to use this. Don’t expect good results with sn awful lot of effort..Version: 3.8

✓ Not user friendlyCan someone explain how I can tell what each lug is currently tuned to? It takes a reading once then it doesn’t change so I don’t know when it’s tuned correctly! This app is disappointing for the price. Not user friendly..Version: 2.0
✓ Overly complicatedI can’t figure this thing out. I’ve watched some tutorials and I need much less talk and more “how to” demonstrating how to use this thing. I wish it had presets for different famous drum sounds, such as John Bonham. Or at least give me the pitch readings for resonant and batter heads for his sound..Version: 3.5
✓ It could be so much betterI wish I hadn’t bought this app. I wanted to tune drums to notes, like every other type of instrument tuner makes easy. This app reports frequencies and leaves you to consult a static image page on a help screen to correlate the frequencies reported by the app to musical notes. The graphic representation of notes that is shown is very limited and only shows a single October, with the pointer maxing out at the edge of the graphic when frequencies get higher..Version: 3.1
✓ Thumbs down.Recently bought a new snare and I’ve had nothing but problems trying to tune it up. Changed out the heads for new heads and I still have a problem as it just isn’t consistent between each lug by large amounts. My ear tells me a different story in that things are quite close. It’s always off by 40 or 50 between lugs. And on my PDP drum kit I thought it worked better but on this Ludwig snare it’s a horrible nightmare. Don’t really don’t wanna have to buy $100 tunebot to try to compared to but something isn’t steady..Version: 3.1

✓ WorthlessI’m not typically a “leave a review” guy but this was a waste of time and money. Using this on any drum is inconsistent and false. After getting wildly different results on the same drums, struck the same way the “tuning” would jump drastically. To further test it I used a digital sample and it never gave the same result for 2 consecutive hits. And I’m not talking by a small amount. The only way I can describe it is the result it gives you is completely random. This was all done in a quiet studio environment with little to no ambient noise..Version: 2.42

✓ Inconsistent waste of time/moneyPurchased this app with high hopes. Quickly realized that the app is very inconsistent and will just throw random numbers at you. Was tuning my lugs on my floor Tom, was close to 111 hertz, made minor adjustments and my initial lug went to 200 hertz. Similar happened with all of my drums..Version: 1.05

✓ Very hit and missI’ve been using this app for about 3 weeks now, I regularly have it giving vastly different readings from 165hz to 425hz when hitting the drum in the same place while doing lug tuning. After doing this about 3 times the app crashes and reloads. It’s very frustrating. It’s time consuming enough to tune a drum , this app is supposed to help. ✓ Pro Tip - Read the other negative reviews…This app is completely unstable and crashes often. When it does work, it gets extremely inconsistent readings. I genuinely don’t understand how this app has any positive reviews and at this point I’m assuming the positive reviews are fake, as the other negative reviews have indicated. This app is a total waste of money and I wish I could get my money back. ✓ Great Idea but not PerfectedI love the app but it is either not accurate eNough or too accurate. I measured and drew hit points right off each lug the same distance from tHe hoop and i c n hit those marks around 3 times and I get 3 different readings..Version: 3.0
