✓ Great value and excellent teachingAt first I was cynical what I could from at a ski app, very pleasantly surprised of how clear and well thought out this. I wish all ski instructors were this good. Obviously not a substitute for lessons on the slope but really good for back in the hotel when you need reminding of the techniques. One update needed is to get an iPad version of this..Version: 2.0
✓ Great app!Couldn’t ask for a better ski instruction app/video. In 3 ski trips and 8 total days (6 half day lessons included) on the mountain, I have improved at a very fast pace. I definitely recommend watching these videos before paying the money for an instructor - you will get way more out of the lesson!.Version: 3.1
✓ Paul cookeI hadn't skied for 30 years, so took a few trips to the snowdome before heading to the slopes! especially as i left last time on the blood wagon! i had some lessons there but left confused. this app did the trick. step by step you can improve. i dont think you can teach yourself from scratch, but the app dissected the moves and made them easy to build together. both my wife (who's a committed app-phobe) and i thought it was great and our progress was enhanced enormously by it. it really is clear how to progress - and none of the steps hurt!. its the best few pounds i spent last year and with the intermediate app and a bit of practice made a return possible . really grateful to darren! was a bit mystified by why anyone (only one) rated it one star - but obviously they didn't read the package. if youre an expert by the advanced one! but if like me you're just beginning buy the beginner, link it with a few lessons and you'll soon be buying the intermediate! its just very very good. buy it!.Version: 1.1

✓ Brilliant!This app is really helping me with my turns. I am currently learning to ski @ Ski Dubai & the instructors are awful! The guy in this app speaks clearly & simply which helps the tips stick in your head whilst you're skiing. I only wish he could jump out the phone & teach me himself. The 3 apps in this series are well worth £2.99 each as it's saving me £100 a lesson!!! Fantastic value for money, would highly recommend to anyone :0).Version: 1.1
✓ Excellent TipsI am a military ski instructor and this is a great aid to remind me of all the top tips I should be giving to my pupils. I can also show the demos to class members whilst on the lift, which really helps the points I'm instructing on hit home. Buy it you wont regret it, cheaper than a hot chocolate in some resorts! ✓ Can’t say enough goodThis review is a bit late, but I started skiing 4 seasons ago and made a promise to myself that I would get it, and I used this app almost every time I skied. I would watch the tutorials on the lift, and practice on the way down. These apps taught me to ski! I now ski everything any of the resorts in Utah (hometown) can throw at me and I manage a ski shop and I now ski in the backcountry as well. Thank you for helping me find my life passion and developing this life long skill. Keep it up guys!.Version: 3.1
✓ Wow!I found these apps by accident whilst preparing for my second ever ski trip. I used then for two weeks prior and in the evenings. My first run was so much better than how I left off at the end of the previous year after only 4 days skiing (ever). They really help link the theory and practice in an easy but effective way to learn. I really cannot recommend them enough. Get them all !!!.Version: 2.0

Amazing to be able to get someone to video you and compare in a split screen to the app. What a fantastic resource to look at before hitting the slopes, reinforce lessons in person, review later, or use in the go to sort out problems. ✓ Excellent and clear - great supplement to lessons!I've been using this alongside a few beginner lessons at a snowdome and have been very impressed. As others have said, Darren's instructions are really clearly and simply put; I find myself repeating his phrases in my head when I'm practising! I also like the extra sections about putting on boots, using lifts, etc - all really good for someone like me preparing for their first ski holiday and not knowing exactly what to expect. The app also includes a facility for videoing yourself and comparing it with the app, which I've not used but seems like a good feature. All in all, I'd definitely recommend this for any beginner skier - and I'm already thinking I'd like to have lessons with Darren if I ever visit the resort in France where he works :).Version: 2.0
