✓ Better than OK...but...You need to do another spell check, accent check and word check (flor is missing from the card), but otherwise not too bad. Photos are wonderful. I will be back to see if you have any updates for us..Version: 1.5
✓ No way to turn off background music in paid appThere’s no way to turn off the very loud, very distracting background music in the paid version of the app. When I tap on the “sound off” option, as well as when I tap on the music note with the line through it (that indicates you want the music turned off), it does nothing. My daughter can’t even use the app because of this. It’s too distracting..Version: 4.0
✓ Incorrect translationAt first I thought this was a pretty good app to get my little one to learn Spanish ,then I saw the mistakes... I speak Spanish so thankfully I did not let my daughter continue using the app. They have a hair brush identified as a tooth brush... Will check back if corrections have been made... ✓ It’s free because there’s not much to it!Very limited. Just the names of a few dozen items. Ok in it’s way but it is hardly going to make you fluent as there is no grammar, just a smallish list of nouns. I was amused to notice that I was asked for I nickname when entering this review and I suggested “unsatisfied” but it was already taken. I then tried dissatisfied and it was attended too, not satisfied was also taken. So was not good enough! And poor!.Version: 3.4

✓ Wrong translationI downloaded this to review for a class since I haven't taken Spanish in 6 years. I noticed at least one error. It gives the Spanish word for toothbrush and says it means hairbrush. Easy to fix, but would be confusing for children..Version: 1.8

Sorry I would not pay for this app because-- accent is weird, and swipe feature is not available. ✓ Needs a lot of work!!!I downloaded this app for my daughter and she loves it. I didn't really review much of it because I don't know Spanish, so who was I to judge. I have recently started taking Spanish class, so I decided to use the app. Well, I did notice the G had a dog and said gato(cat) but overlooked it, until today. I needed the correct pronunciation of W.... And it's not even in the app!! Really need to edit and/or correct the app..Version: 1.8
✓ Used to be more user friendlyI dock this app since they took away the swipe feature. It is hard for my toddler to use the small next button. She clicks on the ad and exits the app. Aside from that the app is good.Version: 1.8
✓ Good idea, bad executionThere is zero room for inaccurate information when learning a new language. This app has numerous instances where the word expressed does not represent the picture, or the spoken word does not come close to the given Spanish word. I use Spanish daily, and thought this would be a neat app, but with mistakes in here, I could not recommend it. If you do try to use it, you will learn the wrong word for a given object. Don't do it until they get the mistakes fixed. Of course, you may not know if they are fixed unless you already know basic Spanish..Version: 2.3
✓ Needs work!As others have pointed out the pictures and words don't match. The advertising , yes I realize they pay for it, is way to easy to push, and you get diverted . When you reopen the app. It does not pick up where you left off? Last night was fun, my toddler pushed the add. By mistake, hey , it's an ad for; The Playboy Channel in Spanish! Playboy in Spanish will probably help a teenage boy learn Spanish , but may be lost on toddlers ! Try to work on this a little, and target your adds a little better..Version: 1.8
✓ Poorly made appThis app doesn't allow you easy access to utilizing the flash cards to learn. It allowed me 1 time to review and I wasn't even able to finish and it put me into the testing portion. Now all i can do is take the tests and that's it. I didn't even get to learn any Spanish. Therefore, I can't even learn anything from this app anymore. Yay!.Version: 2.1
✓ Not badI'm not thrilled about pronunciation of ll words, but there is a lot of variety in topics for free app. The ads at bottom are an inconvenience. My 5 year old constantly clicks on them when trying to go to next screen..Version: 0
✓ New version ruined appThe new version has ads at the bottom of the page and instead if clicking next to go to the next image, you end up opening the ad. This is very annoying. I wish you could still advance by touching the picture if you absolutely have to have the ads. I miss the old version, the new one no longer works for us..Version: 1.8
✓ My toddler loves it but accent is badI had a similar app in English that my 18 month old loves. Since I also want him to learn Spanish (I am Bolivian married to an American) I downloaded this app in Spanish. He likes it but couldn't they have used someone that has a better accent? ✓ Disappointed with latest versionGood basic app, but their recent update put the ads at the bottom. Not good when you are using this as an educational tool for a toddler. Used to use this a lot with my daughter but now she always ends up tapping the ads by accident, so i had to stop using. Ads should be moved back up to the top where they are less likely to be accidentally tapped by children..Version: 1.6
✓ Good app with a flawed designThe app appears to be good for learning Spanish words while viewing good quality, nice pictures. However, even in its full, paid version, the app does not allow user to enter the review section. It takes you back to the App Store. Overall, it is a good app if you go for a free version. ✓ Full of mistakesThis app could be great if only the people that made it had knowledge of the spanish language...too bad! Spelling mistakes everywhere, confusing the dog for a cat, a nail clipper for a nail (the one you use with a hammer, clavo), the color orange with the fruit (anaranjado-naranja), etc...it seems as if ONE bothered to check anything, not even when next to the word Vaso there was the word GLASS in english, there are so many mistakes that it's not even funny anymore...not in a million years would i pay for the paid version...really too bad!.Version: 1.8
✓ Don't UpgradeThe first version was great. However the newest upgrade removes the "Next" and "Previous" buttons and replaces them with a click thru to advertising. They put it right at the bottom so every small child will contantly touch it and it forwards to the ad. Also some of the modules the ads come up every few seconds. ✓ Some wrong translationsSome great vocab used for non-Spanish speakers to learn some of the basic language. However, lots of wrong translations used. For example, naranja is the word for the fruit, not the color. Anaranjado is for the color. Banana isn't the word used for the fruit either, it's platano. I understand there are different dialects but needs a little more research for the translations IMO..Version: 1.7
✓ I would consider another app...This app has great content, but if you accidentally hit an advertisement or close it, it does not remember where you were you were. You could be 25 flash cards into the lesson and the app launches as if you're opening it for the first time. So keep looking unless this inconvenience won't bother you or your little one. My little one doesn't have patience for that..Version: 1.9
