✓ Ho hum...It's okay as far as Spanish-English dictionaries go. The organization seems a little off, by including phrases in the dictionary listings. I think the phrases should be placed in another section so one-word searches don't get so complicated. Also, the word of the day shouldn't pop up automatically; let me select it when I want to see it. ✓ MehIt's hard to complain about a free thing but this dictionary is really slow on my iPhone 4… there are often multi-second pauses between when I type a letter and when it shows up on the screen, presumably because it's trying to auto-complete after each letter (mistake). Also, the Spanish/English button at the right of the search field doesn't really make it clear if you're supposed to be entering the word IN English (for example) or you want it translated TO English. And pressing/switching the button is another multi-second affair. I am studying Spanish and it already takes me a while to get my phone out, unlock it, and run this app when I want to look up a word. ✓ Word game is ridiculous! But dictionary is fine.The dictionary function is pretty good as well as the multiple choice game. However, the "guess a word" feature is total bs! It is so picky that even plurals will not count as correct. Also, the aspect of translating the clue and the arcane words used make it ludicrous. One of the words was "decifrar" and without being a teacher I would've never know that meant decode instead of decipher..SISJTKVersion: 6.5

✓ Poor pronunciationThe dictionary itself is good and more than sufficient. I think the pronunciation leaves a lot to be desired. There's no real distinction between Castillion and Latin American pronunciation. Additionally, the pronunciation is garbled many times and unclear at other times. Inasmuch as you are trying to explain the pronunciation of the word, there was no reason not to exaggerate the sound a little. ✓ Mostly good app , but vague at times.It's a good dictionary app. However, some of the words have many translations and are too vague at times. For example, what's the correct term for the word "bright"? "¿Brillante" o luminoso?" Also, sometimes verbs and nouns tend to be missing for certain words. It's also hard to tell which countries use certain words if your trying to speak with a certain accent. I also can't help but feel bummed out knowing that you have to pay for the games and audio. There's even a feature where you can take a picture of a word in Spanish and it will translate it. Yet, you still have to pay, as with almost all the features. ✓ One Big MinusI enjoy this program, and always avail myself of the "word a day" option. The problem is that only the first Spanish synonym given, out of the five or more offered, is pronounced. And to make it worse, the synonym offered is always the simplest to pronounce and the most like its English counterpart.
