Eagle Pros
✓ Mulligan-a Hole in OneWe downloaded the trial version of Mulligan's Eagle last week just days before a major two day event at the courses we manage. In no time we had all the particpants registered and notated whether they had paid or still owed for the event. We were able to update contestant for which we had a GHIN [USGA Handicap Number] in a matter of seconds. For others we followed up with a phone call to verify handicap index and easily entered that information. We had 116 players and paired them quickly in 58 two man teams. We chose an option to dot scorecards for their handicap holes and printed them on card stock with their tee times. When they turned in the cards it was a snap to enter their scores and verify our results against their's. While they were still at the table, we were able to show them any discrepancies. You can drag and drop scorecard icon onto a spreadsheet to export the data [I still can't figure out how they did that] The software install, and adding/editing courses, players and tournamentsis a breeze. The User Guide is very extensive. The software developer is attentive, participated in troubleshooting, explaining the software and took suggestions for what we deem to be positive enhancements to the program for a future revision. For a price tag of under $50.00 we snapped up our registered version with no remorse. It can be used by leagues, golf directors and yet is affordable to individuals merely looking to track their improvements through statistics. Mulligan's Eagle is a smart buy!.Version: 2.2.1
✓ Best support of any app I have boughtThough the app doesn’t do everything I need to run a monthly tournament of 30 golfers, the support is outstanding. I receive a response from the developers usually within the day. The 200 page user manual is a bit daunting to go through, but the developers were available to answer my questions. I was previously using the USGA/GHIN TPP application running under Window’s emulation on my Mac. Glad to now be on a native Mac application..Version: 2.7.5

✗ POORDifficult to use-doesn’t do handicaps…you have to have one already.Version: 2.7.5
✗ Too cumbersome to useI wanted a simple program to replace my Golf Digest 4.0 handicap program which Bob Parsons no longer supports. The 4.0 program is a PC program and to use this program on a Mac I have to fool around with Parallels. I figured the Eagle Mac-only program would be a good replacement—Boy was I wrong! The guts of the program is on the Apple app site—not on your Mac. The Mac has an Eagle alias. I am unable to see my Eagle input on my other computer located at my summer residence. I have to return to my other Mac located at my other residence to see any input. The alias located on iCloud has no data. The data entries for each scorecard is time consuming. Also I can not find any players index/handicap after data input. It appears the player(s) must have a bonafide index from some paid PGA source. My league is a bunch of guys who just play golf weekly. I don’t recommend spending $40 for a program you can not use..Version: 2.7.8
