✗ Game is fun - controls need improvementThis is the old nostalgic 16-bit arcade game of the 90's, and is still fun to play. Game is pretty straight forward, you're a Greek warrior resurrected from the dead to kick and punch the mess out of the zombies / monsters till you reach the stage boss. The biggest complaint I have of this port to iOS is of the virtual game pad and buttons - I've noticed the response is laggy, at best which causes frustration. Otherwise, it fun to play to pass the time..Eight Hours DayVersion: 3.2.0

✗ Fun, Simple brawlerAltered Beast lacks the depth of things like Comix Zone or Streets of Rage, but is a quick fun arcade classic experience. Removing points due to dropped sfx and 30fps performance that I hope gets addressed soon. Always would have liked Altered Beast to be expanded upon in a sequel (not counting the PS2 reboot). There's so much that could be done with the concept of a brawler with mythological transformations! Dream game would be Yakuza style fighting (style based combat and animal based finishers) with more interesting environments that have different paths/interactions based on wether or not you're powered up (or have the right form) for replayability. Hopefully someday this SEGA staple will rise from it's grave!.MegaDriveBPVersion: 3.0.2
