It used to work in IBooks Newsstand just fine but now the download stops and kicks me back to the Newsstand Bookcase. I have tried emailing customer support at Apple and Conde but no response other than Apple offering to speak to me for $35..... I have downloaded the last 2 issues and its great fun to watch the embedded videos. I never even opened last month's print version. ✓ Works just fine for current subscriber!Im not sure why some people are having issues with this but it worked perfectly for me. I installed the app, put in my information, and created an account. After signing in with my new account name and password i was able to download the issues with no problem. At first the subscribe button was the only option but about 30 seconds later it disappeared and an install button appeared. If i had one complaint about this it would be the large 400+MB per issue downloads. That seems rather high to me. Other than that this app is awesome!.Version: 3.0
✓ Outstanding!Been a long time subscriber to Golf Digest. Started using the App version when it first came out. Not normally given to write reviews, but I'm totally blown away by the negative reviews. I've never had a single problem with this App! This is by far a much superior way to get the most out of the magazine. I never even bother to look at the magazine version anymore. I only wish there was a cheaper option to subscribe to the App version only, since they could save money on printing and shipping. But to be honest, this App is worth every penny of the mag subscription. A very minor issue I have is that it is best to only download using wi-fi which can take about 30 minutes and you can't download in the background, meaning once you start the download you have to make sure your iPad doesn't auto power off and you can't use your iPad while its downloading otherwise the download will automatic pause until you tell it to resume downloading. But the 30 min wait is well worth it. Once downloaded every page, video and special feature works flawlessly every time..Version: 3.9

✓ Great App!I really enjoy the Golf Digest App! The iPad version has been great for myself to use! Really surprised at all the negative feedback. Any issue that I have had has been resolved rather quickly. Love the videos and interactive swings you can slow down of tour professionals from multiple angles! I think they do a great job as far as content that is put into the ipad version that makes it tough to put down for me! Did have a minor issue with crashing a while back but it was fixed with and update that was put out. Also, only real complaint I have is that you cannot download the newest issue "in the background", meaning you have to make sure your iPad screen is always lit up and on the download screen within the Golf Digest app to download, other wise it will pause. Overall, as an avid golfer, this is the most enjoyable magazine within my Newsstand to read! The positives of the app far outweigh the seldom negative problems I have encountered..Version: 3.9

✓ Very goodI had been looking for this magazine app and was surprised when I could not find it at Christmas. Now I realize why. The golf digest folks took their time and made a beautiful interactive app. When compared to the other interactive magazine apps I believe this one far exceeds even some that I consider very good ( Wired for example) Lessons spring to life as video, club heads rotate, and the little audio button to hear the club head noise was cool as well. ✓ Love it!!Whining complainers... Want everything for free.. This isn't misleading at all. Anyone who thought they were gonna get a magazine completely free aren't very bright. The issues are inexpensive upon subscribing and they work wonderfully. You get so much more than the actual physical magazine gives you. Yes I agree the issues are a tad large but you don't have to keep them all on and you can re-download them any time. The guy who said it takes 30 minutes for an issue needs to get high speed Internet. The longest an issue has taken me is about 7-8 minutes. If you love golf, then I highly recommend this app! ✓ FantasticI will never go back to a paper copy. This mag is the awesome, I never knew that an online publication would be so great. I love the ability to watch the videos, to move a swing back and forth and just breeze through all the articles. I have always struggled with taking a textual or still photo explanation of swing tips and converting into something useful for my own game.
