✓ Simply excellentThis is my number one go-to app for image blending and has been for a very long time. It's a simple and lightweight app that doesn't crash and always does exactly what I want it to do. I remember when it was very basic with almost no features (worked really well even then) and with the convenient things that keep being added, it keeps getting better and better (masking, flatten, to name a few). This is exactly the way to make a great app: start simple but with rock-solid functionality and then start adding features. ✓ IOS 15 update for iPadAfter I downloaded the iOS 15 update I was no longer able to use the app to add my photo logo to my pictures. I emailed the developer and he sent me a detailed message that he was working with Apple for a solution,but also put through an update that fixed my issue within 24hrs. I know it has the capability to do a lot more than that, but it does what I need in an uncomplicated and efficient manner when I’m working on an image on my phone. ✓ LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS APP!!!The reason why I like it so much is that it is not like the other photo filter/editing apps. You can create your own stunning pictures by combining the effects of two of your own pictures to create something else. It's really easy to use and doesn't consume a lot your time, which is good if you're a beginner or don't have the patience. I like using it with other photo apps like the percolator, toonpaint, photo tropedelic,etc. I like to use it with percolator because it helps get rid of the circles around people's faces yet I can still have the circles in the background to give it that arty effect. So basically I combine the normal photo with the percolator photo to give it that effect. The same goes for toonpaint if I can't be bothered to color in a really detailed picture that I turned into a cartoon. I basically combine the normal photo with the sketch photo from toonpaint so that it automatically fills in the colors for me in 2 secs. There are also other settings and sliders so you can play around with it to get the desired image you want. You can also make a mini collage by combining two different photos together, you just have to play around with it. I would definitely recommend this, especially if you are looking for something that is different from the other photo apps. It's very useful in terms of using it with other photo apps (like the ones I mentioned) or any pictures on the internet that have cool effects and you want to apply them to your own images. If you want to see a better review of this and a sample of what they did with toonpaint then look this up on the iphoneography website. ✓ White SignatureAs of couple days ago, my “white” PNG signature it’s not appearing on my photographs. It was created with PhotoLog a few years ago and used it without any problems in the past. ✓ Imaginative PossibilitiesI’ve been using this app for years and find it to be a valuable tool in creating double exposures with unlimited possibilities . While I am knowledgeable in using photoshop for such layering , etc . Image Blender does many of these things with ease and immediacy . Of course it cannot replace the nuances and precision of PS but it is such a great app to begin exploring ideas and even use to achieve the final piece. I’ll admit that I have not taken the time to take advantage of all the tools except the move tool but for now that seems to be working . ✓ Using regularly since Nov 2011I’ve been using the app when I got my first iPod Touch with a camera and it was awesome. Then moved up to a 4s and the app stayed very much the same-awesome. I’m currently using a 6s and Image Blender has always been one of the strongest workhorses in my photo app line up. It’s fast. It’s smart. It does what other apps may include as features, except IB specializes in the one thing, blending layers. I love that they never even bothered to update the original looking app icon, only performance improvements. The only thing I wish it could improve is the masking tool. The brush to create masks is very limited in function in regards to size and edges. I don’t recall it always being there so if it’s newer it will only get better I bet. If I need to I prep images in another app to do sharp masking but NOTHING works better at traditional layer blending modes easier and better than image blender.
