There’s easy access to piste, relief and weather maps which is very useful for quick referencing when travelling or in resorts. I’ve been using their forecasts on the web for a long time (after realising that everyone else was as well!), but for sure will be mostly getting info from this app from now on. ✓ Great reportsIt is a toss up if one should use Safari or this app on the iPad mini. The site gives great reports, giving expected snow amounts instead of maximum possible that NOAA gives. It uses NOAA data to do their forecast and so it is about 10 hours behind. It also gives top,mid,bottom which can be hard to get at NOAA clicking on their map. It gives longer forecasts and more 2 day detail (if things go as expected) for subscribers..Version: 3.1
✓ Great app for forecasts and moreThe app was good before and has now been much improved with many more features. I found it to be a brilliant tool during my last trip to Grindelwald. As well as seeing the most accurate forecasts for different elevations I stumbled on the new interactive map where you can see yourself on the terrain and marked pistes. ✓ Most accurateI have 4 different snow forecast apps on my phone, but this is the only one that accurately forecasts SkiBowl on Mt. Hood. PacNW weather is tricky, and the snow/rain line often cuts across the middle of SkiBowl runs. This app nails it with the base / mid / top forecasts. Every time the other apps say all snow or all rain, this app gets it right. Most apps depend on reports, this one seems to be based on forecasts and freezing / snow levels..Version: 1.3
