✓ Word of promise.I have an absolutely major complaint. Some time age I bought Word of Promise so I could have it on my iPad. I haven’t use it for awhile and just recently I went to use it again and I being asked to pay again. This is absolutely terrible. ✓ Not working correctlySince my upgrade to iOS 13.1.2, my Bible app is not working correctly. For example, when I go to a certain scripture, it used to take me right to the chapter and verse. But, now it only takes me to the first verse of the chapter even though it shows at the top the correct verse, like verse 24, it shows me the chapter and ALWAYS verse one rather than showing me verse 24. Hopefully you’ll have a fix soon. I love this app, but not so much right now..Glassy GolferVersion: 7.0.009

✓ MosesI have the full audio and on the whole I would recommend it. However it’s been spoilt by the actor that voices Moses. He sounds like a lecherous old drunk and at times it’s difficult to make out what he’s saying. It’s a shame that it’s such a big part. I now use the audio narrated by David Suchet for the early books of the Old Testament so I don’t have to put up with the cringeworthy performance of Moses..CrusherBillVersion: 6.1.05

✓ Scam stay away paid and does not workI purchased this app and when I click to open it a pop up window comes up saying the developer has not updated the app to coincide with the latest version of iOS . ✓ Needs Speed ControlBy far, this is my favorite dramatized audio Bible in any version. The reading is excellent and the audio effects are film quality. I’ve read along with the Audible audio for years. But I wish this app had a speed control. The downside of dramatized versions is that they usually read slower than you would read yourself. So I always read along with the text in front of me and the audio on faster speeds. As soon as this app adds a speed control, I’ll gladly pay for the full version (and raise my rating). To my knowledge, this is one of very few Bible apps with audio that DOES NOT have a speed control. ✓ Difficult to figure outI purchased this app because my eyesight is starting to make reading difficult and I enjoyed the old Word of Promise app so much that I decided to pay for the upgrade when the old app finally quit working on my device; however, this app is complicated and it took me multiple attempts of trying to figure out how to download the content and set up a user account and finding the correct menu options to get the audio and visual to work together like the easy-to-use old app did. I think I finally figured it out, but it required reading the guide and help FAQs before I could make it work..SomeOpinion1628Version: 4.04.000

✓ Too ExpensiveI used to have the first edition of the audio Bible. However as time went on my iPhone was changed and I lost it. I bought the nkjv study Bible - 2nd edition for almost £20 thinking that I would have what I had before......maybe even better. Moments later I discovered that this is just another Bible on screen - no audio. What is the point to that when I can get another app with the Bible for FREE? I have now found out that I have to pay an extra £40 or so to download the audio. My frustration is why it is so expensive and why there wasn’t a clear warning that it did not include the audio. I would have considered getting the audio regardless of its exuberant price if I had known before hand that I was not getting the audio with the £20 download. How much did you have to pay the actors to justify that high a price? You shouldn’t be making money on God’s free gift of His word but be part of promoting the gospel. I am going to cut my losses and free my device of the extra data it’s has taken to download your app.....put it down to experience..Spring01!Version: 5.0.0.8
