Every time you multitask with many apps open, you need all the windows arranged accordingly. Magnet makes this process swift and easy.

In one drag to the edge of your display, you size any app into half of the screen. And by dragging its windows to corners, you snap them into quarters. Sliding on the bottom edge creates thirds, or even sixths on ultra-wide monitors. Taking advantage of such arrangements eliminates app switching and greatly enhances workspace efficiency.

All commands can be triggered via keyboard shortcuts as well. You can find a predefined set of hotkeys under the menu bar icon, or create ones that fit your habits.

✓ Really good, but could be even betterThis app makes my life much easier and lets me keep my windows cleaner. However in the preferences tab, I wish you could customize some preset windows sizes and assign a shortcut to them. For example, there are presets for 'left two thirds and left', but what if I want a shortcut for 'left three quarters' or something like that. ✗ Great app, so close to 4/5 starsBeing a long time windows and macOS user, the Microsoft window snapping is one feature i have missed for a long time! As someone who uses a macbook with a tiny twelve inch screen, i rarely use full screen apps so the derfault method is of little use to me! But since discocvering magnet its given me the best of both worlds! The magnet style window snapping is much more natural to me than the built-in functionality, and apple should take note as this should definitely come as default! However, over the past few weeks i have noticed a few more bugs than i would expect during the snapping of windows!
