✓ A little buggy.This review is for the app... Not for the lineup of the actual festival. (Seems the purpose of the review area is not always clear). The layout is fairly user friendly, with easy links to the bands ( a sort of get-to-know-ya area). Really, the only complaint is that it freezes up sometimes, which gets a little annoying. 3 stars for a cool design, with some kinks to work out..CatsmackVersion: 10.0

Currently, bands are only browsable by show time, but it would be great if you could look at a list and see when/where the band is playing. Check out the app for the iTunes Festival as an example. ✓ Full of Bad DesignWhen entering either the 'Eats' or 'Art Market' tabs, The app encourages you to view the websites or offerings of the vendors selling goods there. Watch out if you do though, because there is no way to back out of the various tab and look at another's vendor's goods. You can go to a different tab all together, but when returning to the Art Market tab you will still be stuck on that one vendor's page. A similar thing happens with the 'Eats' where it loads the actual homepage of the ACL site into the tab with no way out. This app was rushed and was not properly tested. ✓ Useful before the festival, not duringIt’s a shame that in a city as techy as Austin, this app is so terrible. It’s useful before the festival starts but during, its as good as a print out schedule and map. It only sends push notifications to promote its sponsors. My suggestions for improvement: ability to only show the schedule for the days you’re going, ability to only show the schedule for the day, send you push notifications when an artist you hearted is 10 minutes to start and the stage, and tell you where specific restaurants are located on the map. ✓ Disappointed Heading to the featI do a good amount of festivals and have liked and disliked apps. I've also seen friends who have use others and I think this one is missing a lot of key features. It does not link to the myacl on the website so what's the point of my filling out my schedule twice. When you do fill it out its hard to view. Additionally, the ability to compare schedules that is available online becomes useless if I can't use it mobile. Also some of the festival apps allow you to check in places allowing friends to find you. ✓ Worst version of this app that I can recallMissing key features that I relied upon in prior versions: artist bios, previews or links to preview the artist’s work, and the ability to schedule. That’s a real shame because lesser known artists are missing opportunities to gain new fans. Many listings don’t even have photos. ✓ It's helpful enoughIt's great to have an app that can keep you on track with the schedule. All in all, that's pretty much just what it is: a schedule with a 2D map. The maps are not interactive enough however. Also there isn't much info available about each artist & what genre to expect. ACL prides itself at introducing you to lesser known artists but the app doesn't engage you in that experience with added convenience. It's awesomely helpful.For ACLF 2015 it was so useful, not sure how ppl didn't know about this app. I was so grateful to have been lucky enough to utilize all that the app offered during the fest. Everything was here, Map, food truck locations, restrooms, stages, times, pictures, it was great! So why if the 2016 lineup is out, is the map not updated?! ✓ Missing a key featureI was excited to download the app for the 2021 festival. My hope was that, given the giant lineup, i could indicate which artists I was interested in seeing, then view a personalized schedule of the dates/times for ONLY those artists. This is really important for a festival because sometimes you have to make tough decisions about which artists to see, so having a view of where there are conflicts in your schedule is very helpful. Unfortunately, the app does not have this feature. When you select your favorites, it just puts them in a list which is useless. Also, it doesn’t seem like they’ve added photos for any of the artists so the main “lineup” tab is just a list of artists names’ with the app’s stock image repeated over and over. That is a small way that the developer could’ve added some polish. Overall, the app feels half baked and does not do what I need..App_reviewer_jdogVersion: 13.0.0

✓ ACL Fest is great, app, not so muchThe #aclfest app used to be much better. Now the app does not sync with my schedule from the ACL website, what's the point of that? The app opens to an AT&T which then generates an obscure error message of you swipe out of the ad when you don't have data (like when you are actually at the festival). End times are not shown for the acts. Bizarrely, this app had no data at all until one week before Week One. ✓ Tragic for 2015I've used this app the past several years with a very positive experience. Good luck trying to use it now for the upcoming show.... You might think this is helpful for navigating the schedule, selecting the bands you wish to see (via MyFest), etc., but the first screen you'll see upon opening the app is either Notifications or Social. But where's the schedule?!? Ok dive into the Social section... Hmmm, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter... I detect that you want to hook into my social network more than you want me to see the schedule.. Keep navigating down the Social page... About this App... Oh! There it is: a submenu called ACL Festival!! Yay! Now we're talking. But.... Still no schedule.... Keep searching... There's another menu button.... Tickets, 2015 passes, 2015 VIP & Platinum, 2015 Travel Packages... Hey! I found a subsubsubmenu for the lineup! Yay! I'm finally able to see the stages and the bands and the times for each day..... BUT... MyFest won't keep you signed in, so you can't start building your schedule. What a waste. I'm sure this will get fixed, but come on: the first weekend is less than 4-weeks away. This isn't rocket science, people. Therefore, I give this 1 star. ✓ App used to be good.They’re trying to do too much. The swipe interface on the schedule is terribly sensitive. I keep swiping to other days when I’m trying to swipe to later in the day (stop trying to make swipe happen). The fonts in the schedule are small and difficult to see. In some cases, some bands’ names don’t even appear in the schedule because their set is too short, and their name can’t be displayed. ✓ Can't Sync with Web AccountWhat's the point of setting up a schedule with all your favorites online when it's not even connected with the favorites in the app? This is a feature I seem to recall existed last year, so I have no idea why it's not there now. As that's pretty much the main reason I'd use the app, I'll stick with one star till that's fixed. Also pretty much every other issue pointed out by reviewers - like why not have a place to view and organize your schedule day by day, based on what bands overlap, where they are, etc? Make this useful to everyone who'd use it, and everyone will want to use it! (and then your big AT&T ad won't be useless).Fs1034Version: 10.3

✓ Used to be goodThe new version of this app has made the most basic things so much more complicated. There is no obvious way to logon to sync your schedule between the website. Just focus on the most basic things that people actually going to the festival want to use...schedule and band details. For example, I just want to see a listing of bands by time to plan my schedule, but instead I have to search by stage. That's dumb. I also don't want to see advertisements for AT&T constantly...especially since AT&T service is so horrible at the actual festival..ThisGuyIsShaneVersion: 10.3

✓ No "MyACL" useful for line-up onlyIt's an ok APP for line-up but didn't save my ACL so I had to use the real map and circle my choices. Also kept updating and I'm sure it ran my battery down faster by doing that. Always had updates or notifications but I never saw quite what they were?!
