✓ "well worth the wait"I purchased this app Jan. 30th and immediately discovered trouble with the install. I went to the support site and saw that many other Mac users had the same problem. After days turned into weeks, I started to wonder whether the bug would ever be fixed. However, it has now been fixed, and within minutes I realized this game was well worth the wait, and even more worth the $10 price. Psychonauts reminds me of a more complex and entertaining version of Ratchet and Clank or Jak and Daxter. ✓ Great gameI've played this game on multiple platforms before and absolutely love it. Works fine on my Mac mini. I miss having a gamepad controller, but that's the only thing that would make it a better experience for me. Overall, it is one of the strangest, quirkiest, and most creative games I've ever played. The level design is really breathtaking and extremely diverse. It didn't have great marketing when it first came out in 2005 (so many people have never heard of it), but its resurgence on many platforms in the past few years is a testament to the fun and creativeness of the game..SerpmanVersion: 1

✗ Awesome game, but troubling controls...The story is awesome, the graphics are amazing, voice-acting is superb, but the controls are iffy at best and terrible at their worst. In certain areas the game will essentially take away control of Raz (the main character) and not allow you to go in the directions you want to and you have to sort of undermine the game's internal logic to make it work. The camera has an annoying tendency to fight against you in some parts, and special powers are easy enough to learn in theory but the execution in gameplay is not so easily done. It took me an hour just to get through the "levitating" tutorial when I'm suspecting it was only designed to take 10 minutes or so, and even then I have no real idea as to what I did or how I managed to do it. Auto-locking is a nightmare and has a tendency to flip the screen around like a crazy person..Jaffe37Version: 1.01
